Tweek clearly wasn't trying the best he could. he was experimenting with Ridley basically throughout this whole tournament. I don't believe he was trying his hardest. But a win is still a win for Nairo.
Grant the Dragon I wasn’t just implying for this set but for the whole tournament. Nairo beat the best Fox in the world with his Ganon. That says a lot.
zero is smoking. ridley is a good character, not top tier of course. but he has the potential to be a solid high tier/high-mid tier. palutena is a bad matchup for ridley(and still you can see tweek did pretty good considering it was a losing matchup), any character that is good at camping from a distance is good against ridley. thats why tweek shouldve not went ridley agaisnt nairo. agaisnt sword fighters and wolf/fox ridley is pretty good.
People were talking about him being inconsistent before this tournament using Genesis and Nimbus as examples. He played Wario and Wolf at both. No experimentation there.

Cany anyone explain why Nairo never uses Palutena’s counter/reflect? I know it’s laggy but it’s a frame 5 counter and it seems like there’s a lot of situations where it would be beneficial.
Most smash players are typically always prepared for a character with a counter attack. He uses his down b whenever he reflects something, but typically it’s really easy to grab someone in that state as well. It’s a professional player thing I guess haha
