What a nice gentleman. Never once was annoyed at the all the questions she asked and actually answered them very clearly which helped in the educational video.
Hats off to both of you...thank you.

To date, this is the only video I have seen showing folks how to clean the actuator switches like this. Others have you going through all sorts of troubleshooting, but never this! Thanks to both of you! :)

I found that if you cut four 1 1/2 inch stiff wire lengths, set them in the four screw holes, then you can slide the four spacers onto the wires, slide the circuit board over the spacers sliding the wires through screw holes on the circuit board ... then pull one wire out at a time as you put the screws in and snug it down.
    Saves a lot of frustration

Nice work! This is a common problem on 99 Adventurers, thanks for detailing the procedure to fix the problem. My Adventurer jacks are working again. Thanks for posting the video!

I have an HWH Manual Hydraulic system similar to this one. Curious if you ever ran into the problem of your level sensor reading low regardless of how much the jacks are extended. Currently mine is having this issue in the front. Got a 2003 Damon Daybreak.

I have a 1996 Tripple E Commander with that exact set of hydrolic controls. My 2 rear jacks no longer retract on their own, I have to put a car jack under them and push them back in. Any ideas as to the cause? Or can you give any suggestions on what to look at first? Thanks.

    Great video.
I believe after talking to the HWH corporation you have a 200 series. I have a 210 series so the green square circuit board with the hole is not what I have. I have a square plate with a hole in it. Im soldering new spring connectors on my cover plate to see if it connects and works. I wish I could find someone with the same system to help me out. Thanks for the video.

How do you know if this is needed ? Mine seem to work on and off as I'm using the lever. Is this a symptom of bad contacts ?

Can you do me a favor and explain how to power on the system ? We have one and it just sold and I can't recall how to turn on the jack system. Same exact system

You should NEVER, EVER sand a circuit board or any plated connector, Use a good contact cleaner (Deoxit) and NOTHING coarser than good quality bond paper.

since my last post to you was over two months ago. I'm following up with another post. I still have not got then to work. I'm under the impression its the cuircit board. I can hot wire the motor so I know that works. I cant seem to hot wire the boad yet. Again I dont have the small squair board with the joy stick hole in it. I wish I could have you help me but I'm sure your so far away.
    Thanks for listening.

Is there anyway that you could find the model number for your hwh leveling system? I have a similar system identical to your joystick but mine does not have a circuit board in it. Just a metal plate and I’m wondering if mine is suppose to have the same as yours? Mine is a hwh 200 series in a 1998 allegro bus.

We have a 2003 Damon Intruder and your utube info is helpful. Our plate is similar to yours but ours has a fuse in it ,your's isn't showing one. We can't get the jacks down at this time. We had no trouble getting them up so we could go for propane and back to our spot. We will try your recommendations for now sure would save us some money.

Well, I was hopeful this would help me with my leveling system, my manual jack levers are nice and clean now! But they don't work :( maybe time for a update from the 200 series. Thanks for the video it was helpful!

Check you fuse and the connections. The fuse is in the right corner of the on off position screen on the dash.
Mine was missing the small spring that kept it in tight against the contacts. Look for simple things first.
PS ...I followed the instructions how to clean the controls on my Winnie Brave and ...voila...they now work...thank you.

If you are leaking hydraulic oil you need to get that repaired first. This video will not help you with that. This video shows how to repair the electrical control switch. Happy Travels :-)
