The Man from Snowy River stunt is performed by the actor, not a double. However, all the trees on that slope were dug up and replanted at a 20 degree lean, the actor was trained to lean right back in the saddle, and the camera was angled to match the vertical. This doesn’t take away at all from what is an excellent practical effect and an impressive stunt performance by Tom Burlinson.

The Man From Snowy River is based on a really old poem from Australia. It is about a herd of wild horses called brumbies which are lead by a black stallion and the events that lead up to the capture of that herd. In the last scene the brumbies have gone down a really steep slope to avoid capture which is extremely dangerous to do when you are riding on horses. All of the guys other than the "man from Snowy River" stop at the top of the slope because they do not want to risk their lives but one does go down after the brumbies and actually does manage to snag the black stallion which results in the capture of the herd. The risk that the man took to capture the brumbies and claim the reward is what makes him the hero of the poem and shows the amount of skill and bravery that he has (or the lack of brains if you will lol). The fact that they do not show the horse rider going down the entire slope in the movie shows how dangerous it actually is and I would imagine that the horse riders/stunt men would have not done it on a full scale regardless of how much they were offered. I would expect that the slope used for the scene was actually just a really short slope but framed in a way to hide that fact. I have gone down a short steep slope on a horse at relatively slow speeds and it is still a really scary (and dangerous) experience especially if you are not expecting it but it is still easily doable if you are experienced enough.

Money (in Mr krabs voice)
lol I think that’s every company, I think some influencers managed to spin some drama so now there’s some stupid campaign to stop TH-camrs getting paid for a subpar therapy service. (Which you can ignore, cause it’s an ad, just saying)
Betterscam
I love the Man From Snowy River shout out! As an Aussie, love that it's being given some love!
Wow seeing Anis on here is a wild crossover for me. I grew up watching Anis in various tricking videos long before I started my venture into 3D work.
I recommend Into the Badlands for Stuntpeople React. Lots of wire work and martial arts fights. The show does have a lot of blood and dismemberment but there should be enough safe clips for TH-cam. Season 3 Episode 1 has a good fight right at the beginning that's mostly bloodless. The whole series is on Netflix.
At 38:30 minutes into American Ninja, there is a motorcycle jump that is supposed to show off how cool and cocky the main character is. But, the stunt guy absolutely slams his face into the gas tank, and then cuts back to the main guy smiling and riding off. My brother and I lost it. Like, is that guy dead? Definitely one of those movies not filmed in America, so they were for sure getting away with disposable stunt men.
It's all fun and games, until the tea bagging starts!😂😂😂
As a kid I looked forward to Saturday morning cartoons, now I look forward to Saturday morning Corridor
After these messages we'll be riiight back
Hey Niko, Gui and the gang. A great half second stunt is in Dungeons and Dragons: Honor Among Thieves! Xenk the paladin kills the leader of the undead assassins and the way he collapses seemingly right onto his neck looks incredibly brutal. I've always wanted to hear a stuntperson's take on it (also the whole fight leading up to it is pretty great too).
Better help is proven to be a scam, they don't use real therapists.
they like money so they dont care
@@DarkShines86 There is a possibility that the common youtube ad providers work together and you can get black listed. But thats just my crack theory.
Who cares?
I believe Corridors is still a part of an MCN or a creator network so, they might not be fully hands on with picking their sponsors and likely have extended ad contracts through that entity.
Without mentioning that they used to share their clients data while claiming that they didn't.
Honestly, it's hard to get client trust back, if at all. Especially when you're at your most vulnerable.
Love ALL the CC content! Have you ever done a "Stuntmen React" reviewing/reacting to movies about stuntmen? "Stuntman" (1968), "The Stunt Man" (1980), "Hooper" (1978), "Drive" (2011), "The Fall Guy" (2024).
Niko "This is the first mutant ninja turtles film"... 1990 gives him the side eye
Gen X and older Millenials know this....still the best turtle film! 🐢
Niko "Michael Bay directed this"
Jonathan Liebesman gives him the side eye.
I have things organized in my plex by the order of sets (ie Tobeys Spider-Man 2 is Spider-Man 1 2, while Far From Home is Spider-Man 3 2) xD

2:50 yeah, the dogs actually look like they're being playful... no matter how good a dog is at acting, they can't control their tails: in general, if the tail is pointed out, they're happy, if it's pointed down, they're afraid, if it's pointed up, they're being dominant/aggressive
FInally a new Stuntmen React. That's actually what brought me to this channel when I was watching videos about martial arts movies. Drunken Master 2 happens to be my favourite so great you covered it here. Please do more of that!
Stuntmen react is one of my favorite parts of this channel. I’ve been having a rough go of it. Thank you
Never knew your name but I have enjoyed your work for years. Fantastic episode. Thank you Anis for your years of stellar work. I truly appreciate it.
Please please idk how many times I have to say this betterhelp is not a good company and it saddens me every time I see a TH-cam channels take sponsorships from them. It’s not hard to research some of the awful things they have done.
True, Especially when it's about your mental health
Sauce.
It's so nice to see Anis. I love this "old" stuff from him before the movies. He is the best^^
this week was all about Jackie Chan for me , i saw Police story 3 supercop, rush hour 2 and around the world in 80 days, and also old interviews with Conan O' Brien, and now corridor too
Watch Rumble in the Bronx, The Legend of the Drunken Master, and First Strike, too.
@@quinnbloodmoon1112 yeah I watched them.thank you
Mr.nice guy is also good
@rvsanimationstudio yes Mr. Nice Guy too. 😂😊
ANISSSSSS!!! This dude was tricking goals growing up! Glad he blew up in the stunt world and now get see him here on corridor!
Drunken Master 2 is without doubt in my eyes the greatest martial arts action film of all time
It's certainly one of Jackie Chan's best and a perfect example of what an action/comedy should strive to be.
Really miss his final act fights e.g Armour of God, Police Story 1&2, Project A 1&2, Wheels on Meals, Dragons Forever to name a few. They were always missing from his US movies
Jackie Chan did not invent "Drunken Master" style. He became a Master...Drunken Master
Everytime I see a betterhelp ad, I scroll down to the comments, smiling at my oracle ability to predict what they shall say.
Love these stunt reactions. These guys are doing the dream job I wanted to do as a kid ever since watching people like Jackie Chan, Sammo Hung, Yuen Biao and Jet Li. Unfortunately, I never followed through with the stuntman/fight choreography other than learning a few different martial arts like Muay Thai, Kung Fu and boxing. I have so much respect for Gui and Anise.
Mad respect to the stuntmen/women of the world, so many movies would be shite if not for your work.
I'm so glad you showed Ong-Bak 2! Loved the whole trilogy.. a video could be made on those alone easily. Tom Yum Goong is amazing also.
You should do the mini chase scene from the ORIGINAL Italian job
Tron was always a favorite movie of mine, Tron:Legacy took its place as favorite, Anis Cheurfa as Rinzler is one of my favorite scenes/characters!!
*Fan Suggestion:*
The Devil morphing effect and makeup in the movie *"Bless The Child" (2000)* is certainly something worthy of review on your channel (maybe for October, you could compare demon/devil effects in movies?)
Also, the movie *Bicentennial Man* has aged very well. You may have reviewed the movie before, but it may be worth revisiting.
The Tron disc throwing is so so cool Grew up loving and throwing frisbees just like Rinzler.
I know that you guys have already done a VFX artists react to Godzilla, but I still think you guys should also do a Stuntmen react to the stuntwork behind the classic suitmation films. All of the stuntmen that put on a Godzilla suit have their own insane stories and near death experiences. I think it would make for an interesting episode for you guys to look into the unsung heroes of the franchise and an often overlooked formed of stunt work.
These video's are insanely interesting and nerdy and I'm ALL FOR IT. You guys have my sub!
Hell yeah! Stuntmen react back
Stuntmen are some of the most chill, laid back and humble people.
VFX artist react to old vs new Doctor Who CGI ( tenant vs capaldi vs Ncuti Gatwa) the change is so crazy and you get to see the entire history of special effects and costumes!
David Tenant is old Dr Who? Smh. I started with Tom Baker.
@@MichaelRainey obviously theres older stuff but I feel it’s fun to see more cgi stuff from 2 decades ago vs 5-6 and it’s easier access for them than older who. Guess I’m just young 🤷🏻♂️
I really love these stunt guys talking about this. They have so humble and professional!
damn man Drunken Master 2 one of my favorite movies of all time. Loved Jackie as a kid and must have watched that movie (and others) like a thousand times.
Always love when they bring Gui back, he brings a nice energy
The Man From Snowy River crew used a bulldozer to push the trees on an angle so the viewpoint of the incline looked more extreme. Hello from Australia btw ❤
Man this is such a sick video! Gui is the man and Anis is absolutely elite. Love to hear the genuinely insightful questions from Niko as well. Keep that sh*t up you legends! Thanks for another banging video
Man, BetterHelp's sponsor money must be crazy good! Seriously though, I understand the need for a sponsor, but come on people
Please tell me someone saw that Geico commercial with the dad parkouring around a parking garage? They did a lot of what looks like seamless face replacements and CG cuts. It's wild!

tl;dr The FTC says the company doubled down on deception by falsely denying it had shared consumers' personal information - including their health information - with third parties. The eight-count complaint details how the FTC says BetterHelp's allegedly deceptive and unfair practices harmed consumers. They fined BetterHealth 7.8M

@@ProtusMoseThere are plenty of comments in this video and articles discussing what they did. But since you don't wanna do that, I'll loop you in.
Last year the FTC ordered BetterHelp to pay its customers $7.8m due to sharing customers' emails, IP addresses and personal health questions to 3rd party platforms when they made agreements not to sell it.
Finally, I have really wanted you guys to do Stagecoach for ever. A more updated version is the beginning of the movie Sunset with Bruce Willis and James Garner
You guys should react to dragon slayer (1981). 25% of the budget was spent on the go-motion dragon
I grew up watching The Man from Snowy River, AND riding horses. This scene was one of the most insane onese of my childhood: when my horse breeder/trainer grandpa saw this scene for the first time, I'll never forget the "NO!" He just couldn't hold in. That was real-life deadly
I really hope Jackie Chan does your show eventually (unless he did & I missed it) because he's so amazing at what he does plus he's so down to earth
He will never do it since he doesn't want to admit to all the doubling.
So cool to see Anis. He was my biggest inspiration in tricking and it's been awesome to see him succeed in the stunt world!
let's just take a moment to appreciate how incredible dogs are to have the ability to be trained to such an extent
I'm in my early 50s and I can still pistol squat right leg, I struggle to do left leg now though. I work in an office so it's hard to stay in shape. I can totally believe Jackie did it for real.

better help is a terrible company and you guys should stop accepting them as a sponsor. It doesn't make Corridor Crew look good at all.
They probably have a multi-video/ad contract signed a year in advance
@@button9 if that’s the case it was a terrible business decision.
I knew nothing of tricking before Tron Legacy. His work as Rinzler was such a huge part of the film for me, sooooo impressive.
Better help again? Seriously. Making me really reconsider even supporting this channel
The Man From Snowy River clip. the hill was that steep. the crazier thing is that, iirc, Tom Burlinson couldn't ride before that movie, which makes that stunt even more nuts.
the horse cliff stunt was safe... the cliff was fake, they dressed a short part of the set to look like it was inclined more than it was actually. you can even see the dying shrubs they used.
Gonna shout-out Preacher and The Warriors for a reaction: In particular; Cassidy on the airplane (Preacher) and the bathroom fight against the Punks (Warriors), because of how both fights make a strong use of props and the environment, even if the fight performances aren't necessarily the pinnacle of their respective times.
Rinzler is such a sick character.
As an Australian, I am so happy to see ‘The Man From Snowy River’ featured! That clip has mesmerised me since I was a kid.

Anis did the Rimslayer stunts?! Man he is one of the main reasons to how I started adoring the universe of Tron. If they ever do the Abraxxas story I want to see him back in the suit for suree 🙏
Corridor loses a lot of integrity from using better help as a sponsor. I understand they need to make money but people are being ripped off and scammed through that service so it should be called “Worse Help”.
I imagine they signed a contract for a certain amount of sponsorships with them and they cant just not do what they are contracted to do
I'm so glad you finally covered Drunken Master 2, but you need to watch the first one.
18:03 No, they did mess with that. They just cut down some trees and placed them at an angle to make it look like the hill was steeper than it really was. You can see the top of the mountain in the background that is clearly tilted.
Anis is the GOAT. 🐐 my inspiration to start tricking. And now I’m in the same business. Great to see him on the show. Thanks for bringing him on gui 🤘🏼
Wasn't Betterhelp in a huge legal controversy recently? Maybe not acceptable as a sponsor in 2024.
