This was such a bold and brave step for Ellen and Lauren. I think Lauren is breaking down the barriers and walls christians have put up. She stayed true to her elf and beliefs but showed respect and love by the song she chose. How do we show love if we are not available or in our own corner cowering ? Ellen is bold too. As long as you are alive, it is never too late to put your trust in Him, but sooner is better than later. Eternal life in heaven is an awesome reward.

The book of Esther has no mention of God either and yet we see Him working throughout the entire book. She too was made a queen in a pagan land by God's plan and she used her "worldly" position to become an amazing instrument in God's hands. So let's not be so quick to judge her in where she sings or how she sings so long as she continues to be open with her faith and willing to glorify God in it all. This was such a bold and brave step for Ellen and Lauren. I think Lauren is breaking down the barriers and walls christians have put up. She stayed true to her elf and beliefs but showed respect and love by the song she chose. How do we show love if we are not available or in our own corner cowering ? Ellen is bold too. She invited her on the show knowing Lauren's world view was a bit different. It shows we can have different worldviews and still love and respect each other.

They'll also be getting her cd and I think at least one of her songs say Jesus or God, or if u just look up her name you'll see her worship music. Jesus did not "hang out" with sinners. He gave them the message of the gospel but he did not *FELLOWSHIP* with unbelievers. People often misunderstand that text. We are to present the gospel and love the lost, but we are not called to "hang out with" or fellowship with unbelievers.

For everyone who keeps saying that Lauren is not mentioning the name of God or Jesus, her lyrics are still clearly pointing towards God. The book of Esther has no mention of God either and yet we see Him working throughout the entire book. She too was made a queen in a pagan land by God's plan and she used her "worldly" position to become an amazing instrument in God's hands. So let's not be so quick to judge her in where she sings or how she sings so long as she continues to be open with her faith and willing to glorify God in it all. We can't reach people unless we out of what is comfortable for us as Christian's and I believe so long as the heart is for God and following what He wants her to do, we have no right to judge her. So I met her in my hometown in Ga, she performed at our local college, our town is one of the tiniest towns you've ever seen. That was four years ago, I've met her once more since then. When I met her my mom said "one day you'll get to say that you knew her way back when, even before hardly anyone else knew about her." Y'all, chase your dreams cause Lauren Daigle is proof that they do come true. I love this girl so much, I'm so proud of her.
