Just got a killer D18 while in my hunt I tried the 00018 and regretted Martin didn't do an OM18! The deep body is a great addition considering the bass and depth it adds to the tone. Great one guys!

Glad what's on my mind was being answered. I been thinking last time if its possible to make the OM body deaper caused im thinking if ever owning a multiple guitar with different body shape, one in same OM shape with deaper body cause OM body is nice. Thanks for this feature Alamo.

I think the streetmasters have mahogany head plates. Or at least some do. My OM-18 custom does! 😍

How would this compare sound wise to a Yamaha AC3M without the cutaway and smaller nut? The AC3M is basically a deep body OM. Just curious and own a AC3M. Great review btw.

I’d love to hear Chris or Cooper demo this guitar playing some hard driving blues. Chis mentions how suited the guitar is to finger style blues, but Cooper’s demo doesn’t show that to be true.

sounds fantastic, still the adirondack top hype with it's (for me..) ugly pale look, is something i can't understand...
since martin introduced the reimagined thing, their guitars are overall much better then they were in the last decades, so
why not take that as a starting point...
adirondack bracing with a tinted spruce top, or so...
tastes are different, just my thougts...

I absolutely love the top of white as possible. I don't like toner. Let it age naturally. Get some sun in your room and it will change quick. The grain on this guy is meh as far as tops. The grain on my 000-28 custom authentic 1937 is amazing. Looks like alpine the late wood is so light.
