Just wanted to let you know that I had 231 No-spend days last year, for a total of $1155.00 saved for my grandsons' accounts. I have a second grandson as of December 21st and am so happy to have this money to put in both their binders. I started Jan 2023 with my first ever no-spend month and only spent 2 days!! I didn't meet that success level again.😂 I also started in February 2023 the Wordle challenge at the $1 per guess level, and saved $1141.00. Haven't decided where I am going to allocate that yet as I have a couple large goal sinking funds and haven't decided which one is highest priority this year. Thank you so much Jenn and April for all the great games, challenges, tricks, and encouragement through this past year, and going forward!!! 🐝 🐝 💛 💛
Glad to see this as a beginner cash stuffer. I have a financial advisor/wealth manager but I still want to learn how to manage my everyday dollars. Otherwise I feel ignorant about my own cash flow.
Yay 2SisterBees is back...so excited. I am $20 away from completing 5+333. So excited to see what a full calendar year on this financial journey will bring🎉. And I may or may not have bought 4 more challenges😊.
I need to still figure out how to do my budget book that goes with my computer bill sheet. My brain has a hard time on figuring things out due to chemo brain. I have been battling what started breast cancer that has moved to different locations in my body. I have started my 100 envelope challenge beginning of December and now I just started to stuff a jar with left over cash. My goal is to get that 100 envelope challenge completed hopefully before end of this new year so my 41,688 in credit card debt is gone one credit card at a time. I am 60 and so excited to do this. I just need encouragement to keep going on my budget book as I start this savings.
We are here to encourage you with each video! I love that you have specific goals to reach and your plan to get there! That’s how you do it! 💛 I hope you are feeling strong and we are praying for you! 🫶🏻
Starting in September. On a fixed income. I'll be making my last car payment Dec 1st. I have been doubling up on them , but beginning in October will be paying regular payment and switching to this system. leaves me $35 in September after everything paid is accounted for. October on will be a breeze. I really like this system better. I needed to reach my goal of paying vehicle off because it is my biggest expense. It's been a struggle and a sacrifice to pay off the 36 month car note in half the time. Gotta start somewhere. $35 is better than $0. I feel blessed to have that much.
Patricia here: Great Stuffing, I have my Binders all i have to do is start. I will be starting the 1st of February and thank you so much i really appreciate this video❤
Awesome video breaking down how to do cash stuffing envelopes. Best explanation I've seen so far. I'm about to start my cash stuffing journey and your video is the breakdown that I needed. Thank you!
Jenn, Thank you for the free downloads. I use the budget sheet. I love it. I just downloaded the rest so I can start saving even more money. Thanks so much.
Of course. The needs are always the biggest thing but being out of debt makes them so much easier to manage. I still look back and can’t believe the monthly amounts we were paying towards debt payments. Now, we use that $ for our future. You will get there. Don’t give up. 💛
I'm not sure how the algorithm pointed me here but I've been binging cash stuffing videos over the last week, haha I'm not sure about doing the actual cash stuffing part but these videos have been huge in getting me to really sit down and look at my own finances and set tangible goals instead of floating through each day. I'm planning on paying off my car this year, and in addition to my $2500 emergency savings I want to double the money I have in my HYSA. Even without the envelopes, sitting down and getting a budget together was extremely eye opening
❤❤ ive read Dave's book and watched so many 100s of hours of videos. Ive been writing down my soending daily, but i swear, its like i cant get past anxeity of budegting. Cant seem to get that down correctly ahead of time.
❤❤ oh, I was watching the other video. I consider the phone still debt if it is something you owe but isn't part of a regular bill for thr phone line. Yes?
So i started over and took the money I saved for the 3 months in 2023 and was able to get $1000 emergency fund. The rest went to 100 envelope challenge. Thank you so much. ❤
😂😂😂😂😂 omg are so right on the $$$$$ In every video I seen so far for the past month and a half I've been leaving nothing for questions and not maybe three people got back to me and I'm still in just like bombalated as to how if it's 3 months 6 months a year what to put in the envelope why not to put in the envelope if it's like 1 2 3 you go from there you know you put double double double double double I just don't know And when do you open it when do you reveal it when you just I just can't I want to start the challenge but I need to know more of it..🤭😁🤦🏻♀️
My goal this year is to get back on track. 2023 was a mess. I had several unexpected emergencies and not enough money saved. We also had to put our cat down 2 weeks ago. I had to use my credit card a few times, unfortunately. So, now this year I’m going to focus on paying that off and rebuilding an emergency fund. I’m just bummed because I was doing so good and it drastically went downhill. Praying 2024 goes easy on me. 🤞🏻Thanks for the videos and being so positive. It helps change my perspective when I start feeling like there’s no hope.
I have question about security. Im scared to carry money around like that but I'm interested to start I don't see a lot video going into details about it. Do you have a video that talk about pros and cons and where to store your money for security purposes ?
I would say this video would be the most helpful for you- it’s an older video but the info is still true! Hope this helps! 💛 th-cam.com/video/ZrwhD_S2J84/w-d-xo.htmlsi=r3HsgUIiC5yClx9m
❤ Thank you for sharing your budgeting setup. I love that Jason is a willing participant in budgeting, saving and conversations in regards to it all. Hope you enjoyed your vacation! ❤
Your videos are always so GREAT! I love and binge all the content - it is so encouraging on my own journey! Thanks for sharing, investing, and taking time to help others! You are both amazing. Also - What are the chances you are in need of another sister ;) Well Done Ladies and looking forward to 2024!
This is great video for beginners like me! I appreciate the resources to use to be able to set up my savings and cash envelopes. I just start to record my journey to help keep me accountable and a fun way to keep me consistent with my budgets and savings!
Great video. Happy New year to you and yours! So happy to hear that you are taking advantage of high yield savings accounts! I remember when you told me a while back that you didn't trust them. I get it. They are weird. But they are real and wow.. I made over $700 last year. After taxes that's $460 that I wouldn't have gotten otherwise. I must confess that for smaller savings goals, I do a bit of cash stuffing but not a lot. It's fun though. And I don't spend as much with cash as I do with debit. Love it! Can't wait to see what most is in store for 2024!
Yes- I still have other things in the background that I will be doing in 2024 and of course, I will share with you guys as I go and see how things are working. I brain is always in overdrive now. Once we became debt free, things change dramatically. That’s awesome what you ended up with this year from HY! It’s like free money!! 🙌
I’m so glad it helps ! Sometimes I wonder if it comes across understandable. It’s hard to film and edit it to make sense- it’s nice to know the work is worth it! 😅
I will certainly mix that in, yes! I’m no expert but I think I could help you guys some - for sure! 💛 Happy New Year to you and your beautiful family! 🫶🏻
I'm so happy to see you back with a video. I hope you had a fantastic Christmas and New Year. I am looking forward to seeing the blessings 2024 has for everyone. Sending lots of love always ❤❤
Hi! New follower here! I love your videos! I’ve binged watched them the last 2 days 😊 My question is- if you cash stuff a certain envelope- say eating out you give yourself $50 a week, and then you spend it, how do you build up your envelopes? I see lots of cash stuffing people have so much money in each category but if you’re on a strict budget then you know it’s going to be spent right? So probably none left over to go into the next cash stuffing. I hope this makes sense.
I have a few videos you could start with : This is an overall budget video : th-cam.com/video/M7ucIl9MGs0/w-d-xo.htmlsi=BJCd2WwRHt-hI4NI If you get paid biweekly : th-cam.com/video/A3WjWxtEzx0/w-d-xo.htmlsi=BeFRgcsHXAQdspeQ And this one is called Payday Routine: th-cam.com/video/orF4rRKnQ10/w-d-xo.htmlsi=IwNoCqYDD8crXcaT
So for the Amazon envelope you had $60. If you want to buy something off Amazon do you use your debit card and then put whatever you spent back in the bank from your envelope or do you deposit the cash from the envelope first and then use your debit card to purchase?
It’s a process. Once you decide to look over 3 months of bank statements and categorize what you’ve actually been spending- it is very eye opening and will catapult you into not wanting to continue to spend on non - necessities. I have started to realize that most items are junk. Just junk. 🤣 And I don’t want or need any of it. I’ll keep my $$ 🙌💛
I started implementing a timeout period before I actually implemented a limited no spend. So I started by saying I could still buy myself… whatever those impulse things are for you… for me it’s stickers, papers, pens etc. So I can buy them for myself but I have to wait 7 days before I can purchase. So if I’m on Amazon and I see something I HAVE to have… it goes on a wishlist and I set a reminder on my phone for one week. Honestly, I rarely wanted to buy it once I waited the week and doing that showed me the wastefulness of letting myself be impulsive and I really haven’t had a hard time doing a craft no spend for 6 months when before I tried that 1 week timeout I wouldn’t have made it 6 days lol
How do you know when and how much to take out of the bank? I am just starting my budget and savings journey. So, I don't spend money on any given day, then I also don't eat out, etc. That is the money I have saved above and beyond my budget? Which is the amount of money I withdraw from the bank? Do I have the right idea?
If the budget book that I just recently purchased and using becomes to confusing for me I can order your budget book and hopefully that would help me better.
I am still trying to find my own method that my brain gets, too. They are all different. I need simplicity and a routine. I do the budget sheet every week but I need more. I’ll keep you guys in the loop as I go to see if any of it will help you, too. 💛
Welcome to 2024! I want to thank you for some of the kind words you said during your last video and response to a comment of mine. I really appreciate you guys. I wanted to ask if you had any helpful suggestions on types of challenge-games to play that are relatively quick and easy to finish. I think my current strategy that I carry out over the course of 3 months (paid bi-weekly) is killing my motivation. Any helpful hints for bi-weekly budgeters that take a while to build their savings?
Ok, Sis! You just got yourself a spot on my next SC video. Great question and I can guarantee a lot more are wondering this same thing. Watch out for that video- you’re UP! 💛🙌
I’m really trying to get with this but I don’t understand something’s for instance: If I put away money all year for my car insurance to pay it in one lump sum how does that keep me from paying insurance the following year……don’t I have to now still put the money aside all year to pay for the next year. And if that is the case then why not just pay it monthly.
It does not keep you having to pay- it’s for convenience: I only pay once instead of 12 times and I get a discount for paying all at once. It’s a bill we all have to pay- it’s just nice to know I’m good for the upcoming year; all at once.
The money is our paycheck. Keep in mind, everyone’s numbers are different- income is different, living expenses are different, debt is different. So with that being said, it’s not necessarily about where the money comes from, it’s how you manage it. If someone only has SSI coming in, they can still budget their income and make sure they are living within their means. The process is all about being aware of your income, your expenses and your spending. Get that budget written down and give every dollar you bring in a place to go. I just posted a step by step video on getting a budget together : th-cam.com/video/M7ucIl9MGs0/w-d-xo.htmlsi=WY2foCwHJk7Fp7S0 I hope this helps ! 💛
I don’t share our actual income for privacy purposes. However, I did a budget video where I break down the entire process here : th-cam.com/video/M7ucIl9MGs0/w-d-xo.htmlsi=hISbIy51ogz9Pkg6 This should help you to get your income and your expenses written down so that you know where all of your money is going and/or going to go. This is the best way to stay on track. Write down your plan and then it’s time to execute! I hope that video helps you 💛
I'm still a tad confused on the no spend thing. So if you didn't spend anything every day that week, how do you know what to put into the no spend envelope? Is it just what you would have been spending willy nilly?
By the way, this is put together beautifully! This video is very informative. You have one of the only 2 beginner videos that make sense out of 100s. You are great at explaining.
You can make your No Spend however you want but I have been saving $5 a day for each day I do not spend- I figure, if I were spending l, I’d be spending a lot more than that ! 😅 Some don’t save anything - they just consider non - spend days as savings enough. Some do $1 a day- completely up to you. I just like to make it a challenge within a challenge cause I’m a total weirdo! Lollll I’m so glad you love the content and the channel ! Hearing that from you guys keeps me going. I literally just spent the entire morning scripting and filming for tomorrow - but you guys make it worth it! 💛💛💛
Welcome back. When do you bill swap? For your challenges do you wait to put your money in sinking funds? And are you doing this every month or every quarter? I feel like I can’t save money 😢
Hi there! I do bill swaps pretty randomly but I do think that this year- anything sinking over $500 will get a prop bill and I’ll put in high yield savings. I use my savings challenges for so many different things, too. A lot of times, when I finish one - it seems like something has come up right at that time to take it. Just like on this video- that Emergenbee money built up for perfect timing to pay for my dental bill. I think when you have a hard time saving (which I did, too) - my FIRST step was a hardcore No Spend challenge. I said no to EVERYTHING for 60 days. It got easier as I went and I really learned a lot about my spending. I have a video on No Spend here: th-cam.com/video/8r9LOVPe3CM/w-d-xo.htmlsi=rXdUITL68cAdn-c8 And a free No spend tracker here : drive.google.com/drive/mobile/folders/1VRf2dzNHV84v-oLIbufEnM3LlNcDpXcr I hope this helps you! 💛
Happy New year Jen! I hope you had a great time in Palm Springs thrifting wining and dining!! Did you go get a drink at the Parker and walk around? I’m curious about your emergen-bee. You’re working on your 3-6 months fund now, so is emergen-bee seperate from that or included in it? Or are you waiting for your one month ahead to be complete before you aggressively work on baby steps 3?
Great question! I have about half of that 3-6, so technically at this moment, I have 3 months. I was planning on using Emergenbee as a smaller savings to keep adding to the fully funded pot but my dental work is going to take it. I am still working out kinks but I love that you asked this so I can clarify for myself and for the viewers. 💛
Yes- it’s my iPhone! 🙌 Look here for most of the stuff I use in videos : www.amazon.com/shop/2sisterbees Look in the YT filming section - hope this helps 💛
can I ask you hjat state you live in (if not too personal) because i just about had a stroke with your rent, I pay 598.98 for mortgage on a house in Michigan I get paid disability once a month hard to save much
Yes- I am currently living in CA. Rent is super high! We do get reimbursed from my husband’s employer because we moved here from FL for him to take the position. So, we don’t actually pay that but…. I still need to stay on top of it because it is in his paycheck and if I don’t pay attention, it can get spent !
i’ve been trying to budget ever since i got a job but i didn’t know when to go to the bank or how to ask for change? i was also wondering how much money you need on your card to be able to spend or do i have to go to the bank every time i want to use my card? and do you budget the same amount of money every week even though you may not get the same amount of money every week
I started budgeting in August. I also started saving challenges. I have so many saving challenges to start for 2024. Should I take what i have and move it to the new challenges? To start fresh? Or keep doing what I’ve been doing till they are full? Thank you!
In my opinion, I would start fresh. Take that money and put towards a big one like 100 envelope challenge to really give it a boost. Or getting a month ahead. Or even paying off a credit card. OR if you don’t have your $1k emergency fund - put it there in a savings account. My last SC video- I cleared it ALL out: th-cam.com/video/7O-P0FfbOHM/w-d-xo.htmlsi=GalII_Q8V6OjAaAN If you have any credit cards- putting it towards that would save you so much later on with interest that you would be avoiding. I follow Dave Ramsey’s baby steps and this is what he recommends : www.ramseysolutions.com/dave-ramsey-7-baby-steps

I’m so glad it helps ! Sometimes I wonder if it comes across understandable. It’s hard to film and edit it to make sense- it’s nice to know the work is worth it! 😅
@@2SisterBees it definitely does help a lot.😊

I dont understand the no spending thing
Happy New Year Jen to you and your family ❤
Thank you! To you, as well! 🥂
Thank you for this incredible video. New sub here. You really broke this down so it was easy to follow. ❤❤
Hi! I’m so glad to hear it helped ! Welcome to The Hive! 🐝💛
Happy Nee Year to Jen, Jason and your family
You, too! Thank you! 💛
Very helpful. Thank you~New subscriber😉
Awesome! Welcome to The Hive! So glad you liked the video! 💛💛💛
I think I've purchased all of your items lol.
Hahaaa! They are pretty sweet! ✨
Thanks for your support!
I'm just starting I need some help with budgeting
I have a few videos you could start with :
This is an overall budget video :
th-cam.com/video/M7ucIl9MGs0/w-d-xo.htmlsi=BJCd2WwRHt-hI4NI
If you get paid biweekly :
th-cam.com/video/A3WjWxtEzx0/w-d-xo.htmlsi=BeFRgcsHXAQdspeQ
And this one is called Payday Routine:
th-cam.com/video/orF4rRKnQ10/w-d-xo.htmlsi=IwNoCqYDD8crXcaT
So for the Amazon envelope you had $60. If you want to buy something off Amazon do you use your debit card and then put whatever you spent back in the bank from your envelope or do you deposit the cash from the envelope first and then use your debit card to purchase?
Thank you for staying on top of the budgeting. Love all your videos!
I’m so glad! Thank you! 💛
How do you stop yourself from spending on impulse? Sometimes I see something and just swipe credit real quick
It’s a process. Once you decide to look over 3 months of bank statements and categorize what you’ve actually been spending- it is very eye opening and will catapult you into not wanting to continue to spend on non - necessities.
I have started to realize that most items are junk. Just junk. 🤣
And I don’t want or need any of it.
Hello happy new year jenn and april
Happy New Year to you! 🥂
Hi, I just found your channel. Where can I get that yellow bee binder?
Hi! Welcome!! 🐝💛
The Etsy shop that offers it is taking a break. Here is her shop:
www.etsy.com/shop/CraftyBudgeting
The no spend book is not available 😢
She put more up! Check for it now- 🙌
I’m really trying to get with this but I don’t understand something’s for instance:
If I put away money all year for my car insurance to pay it in one lump sum how does that keep me from paying insurance the following year……don’t I have to now still put the money aside all year to pay for the next year.
Where do you get the money to stuff. I just don’t get it
The money is our paycheck.
I just posted a step by step video on getting a budget together :
th-cam.com/video/M7ucIl9MGs0/w-d-xo.htmlsi=WY2foCwHJk7Fp7S0
I hope this helps ! 💛
Hello, Where did you find out about your IRA limits?
www.irs.gov/retirement-plans/cola-increases-for-dollar-limitations-on-benefits-and-contributions
Where did you get the number $1283? Was that the amount of your whole weekly check?
I don’t share our actual income for privacy purposes. However, I did a budget video where I break down the entire process here :
th-cam.com/video/M7ucIl9MGs0/w-d-xo.htmlsi=hISbIy51ogz9Pkg6
This should help you to get your income and your expenses written down so that you know where all of your money is going and/or going to go.
Some don’t save anything - they just consider non - spend days as savings enough.
Some do $1 a day- completely up to you. I just like to make it a challenge within a challenge cause I’m a total weirdo! Lollll
I’m so glad you love the content and the channel ! Hearing that from you guys keeps me going. I literally just spent the entire morning scripting and filming for tomorrow - but you guys make it worth it! 💛💛💛
I jenn I am a newbie and wanted to get the free printables where are they located on this website Thanks and God bless
Hi there!

I have a video on No Spend here:
th-cam.com/video/8r9LOVPe3CM/w-d-xo.htmlsi=rXdUITL68cAdn-c8
And a free No spend tracker here :

I hope this helps you! 💛
@@2SisterBees thank you
Where is this money coming from? I live on Social security/ I have no cash anywhere.
Yes your right lol 😅
Question, how do you set up your camera? Do you use an iPhone?
Yes- it’s my iPhone! 🙌
Look here for most of the stuff I use in videos :

Look in the YT filming section - hope this helps 💛
Thank you so much! @@2SisterBees
can I ask you hjat state you live in (if not too personal) because i just about had a stroke with your rent, I pay 598.98 for mortgage on a house in Michigan I get paid disability once a month hard to save much
Yes- I am currently living in CA.
These are great questions- I am going to use your comment for my next cash stuffing video. Stay tuned for answers there. I got you! 💛
thank you so much! @@2SisterBees
Do you have a link for your cash tray?
Here is Amazon shop- look under cash stuffing section - you’ll see it! 💛

Thank you
I started budgeting in August.
My last SC video- I cleared it ALL out:
th-cam.com/video/7O-P0FfbOHM/w-d-xo.htmlsi=GalII_Q8V6OjAaAN
If you have any credit cards- putting it towards that would save you so much later on with interest that you would be avoiding.
I follow Dave Ramsey’s baby steps and this is what he recommends :

Thank you!!!
Is the husbands $520 a month? Trying to explain to my husband my reasons too. He is a smoker 😂
Yes- it will be 520 a month. Cigarettes are so expensive 🥹
I’ve been cash stuffing for over a year and a half and I def can say all these tips have helped so much.
Happy New Year 🫶🏻
Oh awesome! I love to hear it! I am so glad! I see you over there, girl! Making a lot of progress! 🙌💛
