We explore an abandoned mansion surrounded by dense ancient woodland and enclosed by a dark boggy moat, this isolated house leers down upon you once you step within its perimeter line and an unpleasant presence seems to constantly loom over your shoulder…
Three crooked stories are crammed full with antiques, long deceased eyes peer back at you from every corner and a low droning sound rings through the long hallways at all times. What happened here? Who lived here and where did they all go?
A house unlike any we have visited before, join us as we venture around this mysterious French home…

Jess for such a fearless, adventurous woman you have such a gentle way about you. Your hands are so delicate. You show such care and respect when touching the belongings of others. Before this sounds even weirder, thank you to you and Sam for sharing these experiences.

This is one of my favorite houses in your great exlores so far. I have a theory of the reason to the disappearance of the inhabitants. There were some medicine bottles left there that were very poisonous. Mercury and chrome together in one bottle. Please, never allow these chemicals to contact your skin. Those of us out here care about your safety. Your well being means so much more than our entertainment.

What an awesome old place. That's the size of house we needed growing up lol 23 kids, believe me when you're stacked 3 high in homemade bunks with brothers above you, that house would have been a blessing lol That old mercurochrome bottle looked like they did in the 60s here in the U.S. then they started making them squared off in the 70s an then plastic in the 80s. Great for scrapes an cuts. It's still made today. An mathiolate was a reddish golden iridescent in color, used on our throats as children for streptococcus. Not recommend today lol Sam when Jess has the camera, man you got to slow down lol Shes always finding things to film that is interesting. Dont rush the woman lol we'll turn on you lol Thanks again for a another great video..I'm still at awe with those beds. Sleigh beds to boot!! Wow!! Worth their weight in gold in the states. 💋❤

The patterns of the light spackling on the walls, is made by putting it on with rags. This way they can control exactly how the patterns are made. If there are swirls in the patterns, the lines you see are made using a large comb. My grandmother used to plaster walls, to make extra money when her children were still at home. She never wore a pair of trousers until she was in her 80's. When she worked she used a scaffolding that my grandfather made for her, that was portable, and she would actually tie it to her back, and brought the medium for the plaster in buckets in a wheelbarrow. When she began the job, she would bring her full skirt tail up between her legs and pin it to her waist. I remember seeing her like this as she worked in the garden as well.

That place has a ghostly vibe and it wouldn't be surprising to hear that it is rumored to be haunted. Seems to me with half painted rooms whomever was living there left in a hurry perhaps due to spirit activity. The windows with stained glass are spectacular as well as.the outside surrounding view!! Hope the pristine condition enameled woodstove is salvaged and put to good use!! The old bed in the "Children's room" was known as a Sleigh Bed, because the woodwork mimicked the contour of a horse drawn sleigh, Easily Victorian or earlier. Unusual to see that many old objects unmolested for years.Cheers!

A sense of intense living in a beautiful setting. Loved the big functional kitchen! Woodwork doorways and that arch. I do love this big rambling country house. It looks like many people could live there and still have privacy. Like Jess, I wish I knew who had lived there. It gives me a vibe of a time of change from the old to the modern. Maybe Karl will find more out. Was it just a feeling that was creeping you out, Sam? That you have continued to combine your team for exploration and paranormal has been most interesting. I wish I could do this with you all for just one day. Stay safe, one and all! 💙🌙🌸 I keep getting this vibe of students living there with a mentor. I didn’t find this house scary. It’s night. The windows are all shut. If they were to come back in daylight, and the windows let some light in I’m sure it would have a different atmosphere. The woods have grown up, understandably. Years have gone by. There were probably gardens. The small bedrooms were probably for servants. This house is as scary as you make it out to be! The music impacts people’s feel for the house. Just beautiful.

I could be there for hours just going through all those old books in that first room..I wonder how many are first editions, how many may be rare? So sad seeing them in such a state.

Seriously, same. I think I watch these types of vids mostly for the books. I want to sit and look through each and every one. SO BADLY!

Great explore, such a beautiful and creepy place. I could feel the spookiness, especially upstairs, all the way here in Texas.

The family either had to flee for some reason or perhaps they were away traveling and were all killed. Even if the family experienced a financial disaster, they still would not have left all of the possessions behind. I can't think of any other reason for their home to still be full of posessions. Those letters from the 1940s would explain alot I imagine.

Strangely the whole castle is stripped of the wood panelling and the silk wall coverings while probably the least valuable antiques are left behind.
