It was pilot stupidity... My battery timer had gone off and I initiated an auto RTH. Unfortunately, the descent took too long and the battery packed up before it had landed! Also, the GPS home position was on the hard road, which made the crash much worse :-(

What happened? Was it a prop failure? The Gopros are tough!

Hard lesson. With your next ship test RTH and how to abort. I do it every 10 to 15 flights.
