- In this episode we explore two of the most remote and amazing beach camps in Australia!! They are Warroora Station and Ningaloo Station both located on the remote West Australian Coast just South of Exmouth.
4wd access only, great fishing, huge octopus, epic sunsets, crystal clear salt water & the most amazing happy hour seat and fireplace on the beach!!
These are some seriously WOW locations to camp and some of our favourite places to visit in Australia.

This is fascinating to me, in 1967 I was 22 years old and took a 6 stand shearing team to Warroora station to do their general shearing. No tourists in those days! We were rained in and the team ran out of beer. The wool presser,a young shearer and myself drove into Carnarvon and filled the back of the Valiant Ute with grog. On the way back every creek run through was running a banker, we drive in and the ute stopped we would get out and push it through dry the plug leads and carry on. Got back to the turn-off, there was a servo there then and tried to go through. The cops stopped us, almost booked us cos the track into the station was under a foot of water. We decided to walk in, the shearer guy insisted on carrying a case of beer on his shoulder. Any way the station sent out a Landrover to pick us up, I think we walked about half way through Luke warm water. And the fishing was great!!!

Loving the vids , spent the morning on the verandah , a seabreeze and a coffee enjoying these destinations , its been nearly 20 years since I have been in those parts , after watching , I reckon it's time to head back and yeh the flies , goung to stroll down to the beach after watching this , have fun stay safe

Weekend warriors turn up at these great places with their generator, loud music screaming kids and roar up and down the beach in their 4x4. These places are so good outside school holidays.
Bad enough we got to put up with them in perth . go away we still get the yobbos

Awesome place. Love your longer format. Be careful chasing Occys as you will also find stone fish in similar areas. Stone fish and bare feet don’t mix.

I worked at Nor West Whaling in Carnarvon 40yrs ago and we would travel up into this area. Dont actually remember seeing anyone up that way back then:) But I do remember the flies.

@@arriesone1 Again with the flies comment. Flies can be bad in some areas during particular years . I've been travelling to Europe all my life due to family over there and I certainly wouldn't trade those beaches for those over here. You are seriously deluded if you cannot appreciate the difference.

Ningaloo and the Exmouth region are still largely hidden jewels of Australia. I was lucky enough to take my kids up here and swim with whale sharks. We spent 4 hours in and out of the water in 60m ocean and swam with 9 whalesharks. It was a pretty special experience that I hope my kids appreciate more when they get older.
We had some friends like these guys, who sold up a house and business and customised a bus to tour around Aus for 3 years with their kids doing online schooling. They had a massive trailer on the back for their 4WD, so the opposite towing arrangement of how most do it.
Great video guys and very well presented indeed! Sitting here in Perth trying to work out a plan to head up that way in the next few weeks but it seems like the rest of Perth is doing the same going by booking sites. Love your set up and thanks again for showing us what those areas on the maps really look like. :D

Oh man, sitting there watching the sunset enjoying a nice wine - don't think it gets much better than that! I'm jelly as 😣 That Ningaloo track is a killer eh! Winderabandi is a good spot I believe. Have camped at Point Billie 3 times. Such a magic place.

This series is great especially since I'm heading up that way next week. You've given me ideas of what to see :) oh, and don't worry about almost falling over a bush. I actually did fall over a bush on a bushwalk today. Told the rest that I meant to do it for entertainment value :)

Just spent a few nights at 14 mile beachfront site, what a cracking spot! Good news is department of parks and wildlife have taken over the beachfront camping now so you can pre book your spot online and it’s 28 days max stay. Bays have also been spread a little further apart. Makes it a bit fairer for all now 😉
