- Trying to download games or updates in the Xbox App, Gamepass or PC Gamepass, but they're slow? Well, this video shows you a few tips that should get everything working at full speed again.

Thanks a lot! I'm watching this a year later and my download speed was 200kb/s and after following the guide it jumped back to 23MB/s as its suppose to be.

Microsoft will never cease to impress me with the crazy butterfly effects their processes have on entirely unrelated programs, the first one got me from like 1-2 up to 30-40 mb/s (still slower than usual but it's better than before at least)

i tried all of this and it worked for a few seconds, download speed went up to 330mb/s but after like 5 seconds it drops back to 8,5mb/s is there a fix for that to ?

TY this is most likely why my steam was so slow aswell as it was throttling my downloads

Before, when I would download a game off of xbox it would be around 20 mbps which is awful compared to when I download on steam at around 750 mbps this video got it bumped up to 70 - 95 mbps. Thanks

It’s funny how I can’t download a Microsoft game on a Microsoft app on a Microsoft OS on a Microsoft PC. Steam works perfectly. Even moving files is good.

Not one of the steps worked , every other company (Epic and Steam) all download my games at 15mb/s - 20mb/s, however Xbox app won't go any higher than 4.5mb/s , if anyone knows a fix for this please let me know

I know this video is old but I'll still shoot my shot. I have done absolutely everything this tutorial has instructed me to. I have 500Mb/s internet, and the Xbox app is downloading games at a staggering 400-500kb/s. It occasionally drops to 0b/s. Not sure what's going on. All I know is that I can't wait three days for a game to install. Any idea how to proceed from here? I just reset my PC and formatted my drives two weeks ago, as well.

@@sinfulkira so i was trying to download my game on my hard disk drive. I decided to try and download it to my solid state drive and it worked flawlessly. Decided to try and download a different game on my hard drive to see if maybe that was the problem but it downloaded fine. I’m not sure what it was or why the game refused to download on my HDD while other games were able to.
I was trying to download sea of thieves and it was going at 365kb and after I watched this it went back to normal thank you

I did everything in the video and I went from 2mb/s to 20mb/s (peaking at 25mb/s) but my speed test says I have 250mb/s download. What can I do to use my entire download speed?
---- in the last part, the global settings, some of my settings are set to "disabled" (except the one the video shows to set it to normal). Can you please show me a video with the commands to set the settings as you have them in this video?

I have 200Mb/s internet, and the Xbox app is downloading games at a staggering 200KB/s-1MB/s. It occasionally drops to Ob/s. I'm not sure what's going on. All I know is that I can't wait three days for a game to install. Any idea how to proceed from here? it works, not as full potential as my actual 700mbps but it went from 700kbps to 250 mbps. still deserves a like and subscribe though
got it up 50-60 mbps without doing last step. If I do the last step will I speed up even more?
For the winsock command, in windows 10 it's: netsh winsock reset
well it went from 11mbs to 105mbs atleast something even though on Steam i'm grtting 980mbs down but thank you non the less it fixed it and made it 10x better 🙏🏼

I have an 800 Mbps internet connection, but I regularly see single digit speeds when downloading from Game Pass. I know it's not my PC, because the same goes for my laptop and the download speeds on Steam are insanely fast. It don't matter if it's through WiFi or Ethernet cable, Game Pass DL speeds are abysmal.

Your a god. I have been dealing with this bs for years. The funny thing though is ive clicked on this exact setup multiple times throughout the years and the leaving it at 1 and 5 mbps always messed with my head and made me think it would bottleneck it down so id always go back to normal settings. I guess thatll teac me to at least look at the speeds to see what its doing first as i could have fixed this years ago. Thanks though man because even xbox support couldnt tell me this simple fix "useless support team".

nothing works the highest i see it go is 60mbps for a split second but is stuck around 10mbps or below on my 1gb internet.
For some reason my computer download speed is like 100 to 500 KBs. It shouldn't be this low because my internet is pretty good, is there some fundamental reason why my computer has a slow download speed? Is there some part that needs upgraded in my computer or something?

Another thing people may be thinking of the MB/s the same as mbps one MB is 8 mb so if you're running 30 to 50 MB/s ur really running at 240 to 400mbps.
