@@pickyourpopculturepoison any recommendations?👀 I have Fireborne on my radar to try soon, and I also want to give Throne of Glass a go (somehow I’ve never gotten to it!)
Ooh I want to get to The Dark Artifices! This video was so great and helpful, I had no clue this series had grown into SUCH a huge thing 😮 Love your graphics, your accent, and your jacket
She just keeps going on and on with it🤣 glad it was helpful! If you end up enjoying the series I might pick up Dark Artifices with you, I’m due a reread! Thank you Amanda💕
I started with the Last Hours 😂, mostly because the setting sounded the most appealing. But now I need to go back and read the rest, these books are a lot of fun!
@@storytoob I definitley felt I was missing some information and context, haha! I was still able to enjoy it, but agree with you that starting there is not the best idea.
That’s totally fair! I preferred The Dark Artifices over The Last Hours, mainly because the third book in TLH felt a bit drawn out and repetitive and it ended up impacting my attachment to the characters. There’s a lot of miscommunication going on that just went on a little bit too long for me. If you really enjoy that setting though and TID i think you’ll have fun with it (and definitely appreciate the TID character cameos). TDA I prefer plot-wise but it’s back to modern times and TMI characters also show up. I think either work based in what you’ve already read so whichever one you’re most in the mood for! Thanks for watching 😊
Hi 👋 at one time Cassandra Clare was one of my favourite author but as grew as reader.. her books okay I will not continue with her books.. happy reading to you 📖👋😎
I read the Mortal Instruments trilogy in 2010 and it was ok but nothing extraordinary so I stopped (I’m admittedly not the target audience, being older). The Infernal Devices however sound much better. Might give them a try 😊
I’m currently making my way through infernal Devices. Does anyone suggest reading the last hours after since it’s about the children of the characters in the infernal devices ?
Even though I am not part of the target audience for this series, I truly appreciate your full explanation. Love you channel!
Thank you so much!

I’ve heard of that one! Will check it out 👀
Great video! I think I want to check out Infernal Devices first. Appreciate all the effort you put into the video and all the visuals!
Thank you Taylor! I hope you enjoy it!🤞🏻

Oh wow😂 did you ever feel like you were missing info? I find it difficult to judge sometimes because I’ve been reading them for so long!

I loved Infernal Devices but Mortal Instruments was just way too predictable for me. Maybe I should try The Last Hours? What do you think?

I’m feeling alternative reading order 👀
Can’t wait to hear how you get on and if you like it! 🔥

I had a similar experience with her books, but I came back to them and found that I still have a lot of fun with the new releases. Thank you Safina! 😄

Yep you could definitely go straight into The Last Hours afterwards!
@@storytoob thank you
I just realized that I asked that question before watching the entire video and just got to the part where my question has already been answered 😆
