BRO WTF!!! his energy is what got me into Gloryhammer! He's like pure motivation and enthusiasm!
He is (was) Gloryhamner.
He made his own band, still signed by Napalm, got to keep his lore too, it's awesome.
This was crushing news. Gloryhammer was pure like a unicorn. Now it is corrupted by a wizard's spell. There's probably Fecal demons lurking about.

Some people found out that the trademark Gloryhammer is owned by Thomas Winkler as well as the character Angus McFife. That could also be a part of the reason.
That would be an awesome plot twist
At the worst case, we are going to have two bands going Gloryhammer with vast amount's of epic battles of undead lawyer unicorns.

Interesting note: Gloryhammer's new lead singer is Sozos Michael who is the lead singer of Planeswalker, which is based on Magic: The Gathering. And the most well-known card in Magic is the Black Lotus. SO, Sozos does have a connection to Lotuses, even if he doesn't eat them.

Well, that was an absolute waste of 14 minutes of my life I'll never get back.
They also killed off the character so I'm fairly certain that Chris planned to remove him from the band a while ago.
The way they fired him was bad....thats like "Thanks and now get Lost"
Gloryhammer is done for me after that. The new singer is talented, no question but he lacks the enthusiasm.
Thomas will now hopefully do his own thing now.

I agree, the new singer does not have the depth that Thomas had for the band. However if Thomas was still there, he could've made a decent backup singer for the band. For Gloryhammer he is not an ideal front man. I think the video was kind of rushed and he didn't look fully confident in his position.
Since he is gone i really couldnt care less about gloryhammer. This dude WAS it and will always be missed

To be honest about this subject, I think that since in the last album Angus McFife end up being impaled by a knife of evil, the story end up in a sort of a "dead end" for the next album with Angus McFife. Of course there was a lot of ways that he could come back... In the wings of a golden unicorn or something like that... But maybe Chris thought that they should go in a different direction or something like that. But independently of the reason behind this, it was really poorly done
Considering the lore of the band (and taking into account the message at the end of The fires of ancient cosmic destiny, which is sent to the year 1022) I have two theories
First: The story will continue in the alternate dimension where Angus came to chasing Zargothrax, only in the past, being an ancestor of angus the hero this time. Since on one page (don't ask which one) I read that the events in "Legends From Beyond the Galactic Terrorvortex" they happen approximately at the beginning of the seventeenth century.

Second: and it is already I see it with little sense but still I share it. The message was sent to the original dimension (or another alternate dimension) after the events in Tales From The Kingdom of Fife. In the year 1022 there will be a second zargothrax to face. Only this time the hero will be, taking into account the difference between the dates, the son of the original Angus McFife; Angus McFife 2nd, or 3rd.
That is what I imagine. I may have gotten high on something to think about this, maybe yes, maybe not: p

Zargothrax activated a clone he had stashed in the year 1022 in the original dimension via intra dimensional Morse-code at the end of the album
Well now we are left with a band that should not have gone on without the prince of Fife and a new band that took all the glory from the hammer and put it into a sword!!!

lets be honest Glory Hammer are dead without him but he is not dead without them. they are just musicians that sounds like 90% of other professional metal musicians around but his voice is special he can sing with any professional metal musicians that know how to play music and moust of us won't feel the difference however i doubt that there is any singer in the world that sound like Agnus by fireing him they dug there own graves i think that the other band members was just jealous.

I'M SORRY, WHAT?!!?! How am I supposed to soothe my toddler now?! Angus McFife the singer and the song are her FAVORITES!!!!! Gloryhammer was LITERALLY one of the very few things that would help her sleep when she was a newborn-1st sleep regression!! We'd found them by accident shortly before falling pregnant with her and it was a regular on our playlist but has become a beloved staple!!(bc F cocomelon! Sorry if that's your kids thing but no thanks) I feel so angry, betrayed & confused why they'd fire such a charismatic lead :/
