I am so glad that in this modern world there still some people like to be modest in dress pure thoughts because some people say that I look like a grandma and wearing veil is outdated so I do believe that someday they will understand pray for those people who persecute catholics against Catholic God bless!

+Jordan Divina Hang in there! I would get the same snarks. People are so RUDE these days, even in the churches at Mass! So hang in there and stick to your guns. I turned 40 this year and now I don't care any more what people have to say ~ I'm finally old enough and have a few kids and I'm worn out and all that anxiety of youth is gone. If you stick with it you'll find yourself reaching this phase sooner or later! God bless!

I am praying for you, it takes a real son of God to want to fight back sexual sin rather than give in to it, may the Virgin Mary defend your virginity. God Bless

    this video helped me.
i'm an altar server at my parish.& there is this one girl and she is built like a top model & she is also an altar server :(. luckily we altar servers wear black long skirts and white surplices so she is covered. but after Mass, she was walking in front of me & was wearing tight jeans& in one second i was a little like: holy smokes! , but then i was like: NO!
sometimes i just wish to be secluded from all the world just to not have to look at this things. its excrutiating.

I will pray a rosary for you :) And one thing I would like to suggest you do is next time at mass, or maybe at adoration, pray to God for healing of the sin. I commited some sins before I was baptized that I was very ashamed of, but I never confessed them since I was baptized. So one day at mass I asked God to heal the hurt from the sin so I can leave it behind and move forward. When I recieved communion it was instant. My shame and guilt was gone and I don't even think about those sins anymore!

I don't have trouble with impure thoughts, but I do have trouble with distracted thoughts. It's raining during Mass; did I close the windows at home? What errands do I have to run after church? Gee, I'm hungry! What's for dinner? I'm going to try these suggestions!

O Mother Mary, transfrom my heart after thine. Place around it a wreath of purity adorned in virtue. Talk my my heart dear Mother, Consecrated as you own; present it to God the Father, as an offering from me to you. HELP ME Oh Maria, in this day, to love your Jeus more; And make Your Hearts more loved and known. Jesus Mercy ...Maria help me...

I've decided to just avoid looking at pretty people. I noticed if I look at a pretty woman even just to "admire her aesthetics", my mind goes blank. How am I potentially going to minister to her? And am I not still treating her like an object, even if one might argue I'm not lusting? This one's really beautiful on the outside Lord, but you're after souls. We are told not to prefer the rich, so why prefer the pretty? God doesn't discriminate like this.
So I try not to even look at pretty people (I know I'm weird pretty lady, but I'm definitely not looking in your direction unless we're talking, in fact I'm looking the other way). And if my gaze wonders on its own and settles on a pretty face, I automatically avert my eyes - I look and think about something else. And if my gaze should inadvertently settle on a figure, my mind would not, look elsewhere. Likewise, I avoid watching TV because those who appear on it are pretty. I don't care if it sounds silly: I used to be on fire for Jesus but I would occasionally just watch a TV series with pretty women and it would act as a trigger for temptation. Why risk that? Not to mention how worldly and sexualized TV shows are, that influences your soul. Remember, they say the word holy means "set aside". Please read 1 John 2:15-17
If I practice this, not by my own strength so as to struggle and lose, but in peace that prayer and abiding in and with Christ gives (notice I said I avert my eyes automatically - I really mean without wrestling with it, in peace), then should I talk to a pretty woman I can do that without my mind going blank because, God granting grace, I can disregard outward appearance. Because I'm talking to a soul, to a sister in Christ (at least here where everyone's baptised as an infant). Then they have no having carnal power over me, I come not to take pleasure but to shine the Light. Hallelu Light of the World.
    Q&A:
    Q: Isn't this a little radical?
    A: Yes.
    Q: Isn't this a little asocial?
A: Hey, I look at my neighbors and I say hi. As for strangers, checking them out is hardly socialising. If she falls, I will pick her up and look at her and ask her if she's ok. If she talks to me I will look at her. If she cries, I'll pay attention and see if I could help somehow.
Q: Are you sure this is what Jesus wants?
A: Perhaps in the ideal I should should be looking at everyone and smiling regardless of their gender and beauty (though others struggle with the same I guess). I know now that that's not something I can do easily, so for the time being at least, I consider this the better way.
But note that this helps me notice people I wouldn't normally notice. And I'm sure they get less attention than pretty people. Not that people, pretty or not, should derive their value from anything other than God. But God uses us to show affection to people. I reckon I am less likely to show the wrong kind of attention to pretty people as well. All in all, I think I gain more than other people lose.
Q: If a pretty woman walks in the forest of people and noone looks at her, is she still pretty?
A: What matters is that she's pretty on the inside. That manifests to the bilind as well as to the seeing.

If you see any brother or sister commit a sin that does not lead to death, you should pray and God will give them life. I refer to those whose sin does not lead to death. There is a sin that leads to death. I am not saying that you should pray about that. 1 john 5:16
The death that is being talked about, is what we call mortal sin. Mortal sins are not only deadly to the flesh, but to the spirit as well. We go to confession for the sake of James 5:16
Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.
