Actually, pairing gen 1 characters from Awakening with Gen 1 characters from Fates feels a little awkward in general. It's like a college kid hooking up with a cougar or a middle age person (Which is why I'd rather pair the Awakening kids with the Fates casts). However, I would love to see that happening. Those aforementioned pairings, Henry x Peri, Sumia x Silas, Panne x Kaden or Keaton need to happen. Also, imagine how would the children turn out from those pairings (and the irony behind them).

Missplayer30 Think about Dwyer's PC conversation with his mother and Brady's with his father: Dwyer brings coffee to his mother and she happily accepts and says it's better than his father's which pleases Dwyer, but quickly changes to shame because of Jakob's competitiveness. Later on, Dwyer is unsure about his skills on the battlefield and thinks he's better off serving as a butler. Maribelle would most likely give excellent advice and try to boost Dwyer's confidence, but that leads to her being unsure to let the risk of losing her child in front of her the next time around. Dwyer obviously tells her that isn't the case and he chose to stay on the battlefield alongside her because he needs her wisdom and offers her coffee to help her relax. Of course, results are that Maribelle is pleased to have a refined son like Dwyer himself. Brady's, on the other hand, is nearly identical, but notably different. Brady makes tea for his father and they go on to talk about Maribelle and her expectations from him. Brady gets mad at Maribelle for the lies she tells and Jakob tries to stop him leading Brady to walk out during "tea time" only for Jakob to stop him completely and help him forget about Maribelle for a while. Finally, Brady tells Jakob his story and of course Jakob is relieved that they have time together getting to know each other better resulting to a heartwarming relationship between father and child. --- Of course I had to tweak on Brady's support since he comes from the future so by analyzing the conversations because imagine a family like them

You know,it'd be really awkward if the two games crossover and you get to marry Olivia to Xander,Lissa to Leo,and Cordelia to Subaki.Just imagine Gaius and Saizo,Tharja and Hayato,and the parent conversations with Subaki and Severa,Cordelia and Caeldori!
Actually, pairing gen 1 characters from Awakening with Gen 1 characters from Fates feels a little awkward in general. It's like a college kid hooking up with a cougar or a middle age person (Which is why I'd rather pair the Awakening kids with the Fates casts). However, I would love to see that happening. Those aforementioned pairings, Henry x Peri, Sumia x Silas, Panne x Kaden or Keaton need to happen.
Also, imagine how would the children turn out from those pairings (and the irony behind them).
Missplayer30 I'd feel bad for Henry and Peri's kid. Sumia and Silas being parents to 2 clumsy girls who take on after their mother would be hilarious (and Silas being the only normal person who would probably be used to the girls tripping over their own feet constantly). Now Cordelia and Subaki? That's quite a pair of perfectionists with one daughter feeling neglected

Akemi Dawn Oh and we can't forget Hayato having to deal with his wife and her favorite daughter (who looks just like her) antics on cursing the younger one. And Panne having to deal with her half-rabbit half-fox/wolf children despite being a terrible mother. Huh, not sure about Jakob x Maribelle and how the family would turn out.
Oh, and Scarlet should either be paired with Cherche or Gerome.
Missplayer30 Think about Dwyer's PC conversation with his mother and Brady's with his father:
Dwyer brings coffee to his mother and she happily accepts and says it's better than his father's which pleases Dwyer, but quickly changes to shame because of Jakob's competitiveness. Later on, Dwyer is unsure about his skills on the battlefield and thinks he's better off serving as a butler. Maribelle would most likely give excellent advice and try to boost Dwyer's confidence, but that leads to her being unsure to let the risk of losing her child in front of her the next time around. Dwyer obviously tells her that isn't the case and he chose to stay on the battlefield alongside her because he needs her wisdom and offers her coffee to help her relax. Of course, results are that Maribelle is pleased to have a refined son like Dwyer himself.
Brady's, on the other hand, is nearly identical, but notably different. Brady makes tea for his father and they go on to talk about Maribelle and her expectations from him. Brady gets mad at Maribelle for the lies she tells and Jakob tries to stop him leading Brady to walk out during "tea time" only for Jakob to stop him completely and help him forget about Maribelle for a while. Finally, Brady tells Jakob his story and of course Jakob is relieved that they have time together getting to know each other better resulting to a heartwarming relationship between father and child.
