Personally, I can't stand it when Facebook/Meta apps are pre-installed because there are a number of hidden services that are also added (and you can't see those as app icons either)
A useful video which I followed to debloat my Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus 5G. There's a caveat that people need to be aware of though ... some Google apps that you regularly use may also get deleted. In my case I lost Gmail, Google Photos, and - I only spotted it after I started getting problems in my car - Android Auto. All the apps can be reinstalled via the Play Store though. 🙂
Apart from loosing the fingerprint prompt icon when picking up the phone this has been a suitably painless experience, you should maybe have incicated the ADB was needed and the easy option to copy the UAD-NG to the ADB folder and run it from there, but it was still a great and helpful tut, fankoo
Hey, I appreciate the last tip. Didn't know why the ADB/UAD wasn't working until I tried what you suggested. Just leaving a comment here to thank you and hopefully grab someone's attention that's having the same problem.
I had a problem with Universal Android Debloater: Next Generation closing every time I tried to click select all and sometimes when clicking the individual uninstall buttons. This was resolved by putting the uad-ng-windows.exe into the folder containing the adb software in my case "platform-tools" Thanks for the video very helpful
Hey man, debloated my Note 13 uninstalling only the recommended, after it, the fingerprint icon when screen is off isn't appearing anymore. Can you identify which one to restore? Having a hard time right now as it was one of my favorite feature.
is still a good option to buy this phone actually or do you advice other options? I'm needing a newphone, and I'm searching for the best option: price vs quality vs performance.
I really like the redmi note 13 pro, it's a great phone that performs well if you can get it for a good price. My main issue is MIUI (hyper os). It's so bloated and even when you put the work in, some apps just conflict with the firmware (like custom launchers)
I have two questions, after updating to Xiaomi Hyper OS the fingerprint icon of the loxk screen turned into a gray circle but the fingerprint icon remain when i am unlocking apps like my bank account, I uninstalled something and the update messed up or that is normal And, I can't find the heart monitor anymore so i think that i uninstalled it, do you know which package is responsible for the app to run so I can search for it and reinstall it?
Good spot - I see the heart monitor has gone from my settings too. No big deal though as I only ever used it to test that it worked, then forgot about it. 🙂
I took me 2 days to check every single service and UNISTALL every one I think is not neccessary. First thing install GBoard before start doint anything else.
Hello there, i'm using a Redmi Note 12 4G and stumbled upon this video with a question, so i'm on the global region, a redditor suggested me to use this tool UAD with the restore option in order to get a fully working mi dialer, well my reasons aren't dump for preferring it over google's one, but i hope you can help me a bit in here, like the package names and what to do exactly, because i'm afraid of uninstalling some app related to the system core and causing a soft brick. and Thanks!
Question of the Day: Which pre-installed app do you hate the most!

@@layapamasterglad it helped you out a little 😊
Useful stuff, as always. Really hate Xiaomi and their bs adds and bloatware
Don't hate em, it keeps the phone price down.
@IggYDPigg I can understand the bloatware but NOT the adds on the system apps. It's bs.

Same problem: Have to move the UAD exe into platform-tools

Thanks for the comment, I have a Redmi Note 13 4G so I am uninstalling one at the time
Likewise, it was quite handy to just pick up the phone and thumb the icon to unlock :(
Redmi note 13 user here. What apps did you uninstall that are safe?
