my god, that conductor is having the time of his life up there XD
+Molly Elizabeth Brigit That conductor doesn't even need to be there.
+Molly Elizabeth Brigit i know right :D
+GlaedrSkulblakaz isn't the conductor giving that awesome vibe to the orkest?
You would too if you're leading an orchestra as awesome as them!
I've played one concert with him once, he is just like that hahaha
Part I: Peace
"Play Carefully"
"Carefully" is the key word here
Part Three: entelechy
don't stop until the end
Part: 5
Despa...
Nope it doesn't exist
Hoi hoi
Lol
This is probably my favorite adaptation of this piece, although the ballet dancers' feet would probably fly off trying to dance to this.
Probably, but I agree, this version best captures the savage nature the piece is aiming for. They play it with such raw aggression!
I see
TheMuni777 like the speed at which they were playing it. Most versions to which my ear is accustomed leave that speeded-up pace for the coda. Although I felt it was kinda on the fast side, it *was* a lot of fun! And, as someone else noted, the conductor agrees. :-)
You can feel the raw sexual energy at this pacing. Bravo!
7:18 "That was great!", most agreeable statement since 2010.
I just want to say that on last Saturday, I had the very, very, VERY, fortunate blessing of playing with this director. He has so much passion in what he conducts. He's a genius! God bless.
Cool! :D
Do you know the oboists names?
the tune when your writing a college paper and you're trying to turn it in on time!
6:28
Except you somehow prove a corrolation between squared numbers and their distance being related to the central diameter of a circle
Practice a lot of practice
😁 Comentario tan chistoso! Ojalá q el estrés de todos los jóvenes de mi país fuera tan constructivo como eso y su cultura musical gratificara su vida, pero la realidad social es muy distinta💥😭. Trabajo para alcanzar ese ideal 🙌🌟
6:27 i feel like running with a camel trough the desert.
Lawrence of Arabia?
Gabriel R. Gomes, nah
more like arabian war elephants stomping their way into battle
RED X channel of awsomeness Panzers Rolling their way to battle
I have-----um----not really!
Gabriel R. Gomes im gettin aladin flashbacks for some odd reason...
00:29 Part one: Peace (play carefully)
01:25 Part two: Fear (as quiet as you can)
06:27 Part three: Entelechy (don't stop until the end)
06:27 imagine artillery fire
raphael melki?
Ur the legend we all needed
The whole piece is incredible but part three gives me extreme goosebumps. Thank you for the time stamps!
@@nestorr1586 baccanale Is a old Word used to refer to "house of pleasure" i no know if It Give a idea ^^"
God this is great. I know it's "supposed" to be slower, but I just can't get enough of the tempo and fiery passion, especially towards the end. Love it.
It has something of the Boléro... Or as Tina Turner was singing : we are going to start nice and easy. And then. It's going to be rough...
omfg same
Agreed. Taking this one faster makes it even better.
Generally speaking I love slower tempo, but here I agree with you: this fast rythm is amazing and adapted to this piece.

Don't only that, they are Venezuelans.
By youth orchestra I think it means young adults
Well, if not the best in the world, than one of the best.. :) I think Dudamel started his musical career there as an orchestral player.

Honestly one of the best performances of the Bacchanale I have ever heard. I'll never tire of watching this. Fantastic!
Yeah i prefare this to dudamel version
same
is the best, ived hear a lot and are the same
Opino lo mismo ! Y amo más está pieza, porqué el Director es mi primo segundo, ORGULLO DE LA FAMILIA ❤
It's really not that great tbh.. it sounds like they all did lines of coke before performing this one.
This is a Latin conductor and a young Latin orchestra so there is a lot of passion going on. Some say too fast but Dudamel is even faster and whips those Germans into a frenzy in the version I've seen. It is a bacchanale after all! In its ballet setting in the opera, probably too fast for the dancers for sure. I used to sing in the SF Symphony Chorus for a few years and sung with a number of conductors. They all make funny faces but truth to tell if they didn't I would have been very worried. It meant they weren't too interested. Conductors like Seiji Ozawa were the best. Just the way Ozawa stood there before the piece told you it was going to be fun. He would take an enormous deep breath that involved all of us. We were like horses at the gate and raring to go with just that one deep breath and the downbeat.

HOW ABOUT PRUSSIA
...LATIN,NO...SUDAMERICA ,SUDAMERICANOS...¡ COÑO !...
11 years later I finally found it.
I was ‘looking for a bald guy’ on the thumbnail lmao

We're playing this in orchestra so I searched it up. Turns out we're playing like 10x slower!!
Why? I was raised upon this piece in utero, literally. My Mum wanted me to be an opera singer. I love the pacing and PASSION of this piece---trust me!
I love it too! But we're just 11-17 years old. If we played it that fast I think we'd all be dead by the end of it! My mum also wanted me to be an opera singer too!
You too! That is funny. I sing like a turtle!

I react to this beautiful performance just as I would have done when I was a kid, except that now I am 65 years old. I run about, skip and spin, hide behind the furniture and then leap out, acquaint myself with my neighbours by grimacing through their windows and chase the dogs in the street.
Passionate music.
Haha grand
This is incredible. A junior symphony otchestra performing this? I have listened to this beautiful piece by many large symphony orchestras but frankly none have come close.....simply the best execution of this masterpiece.

Well Dudamel I think is Venezuelan so his community has a big thing in such a sad country?
Venezuela has more than 400 orchestras, many of them are famous in the world. There is a special project called: El Sistema, thousands of children and young people are trained in music.
Amazingly well done for any orchestra, but these young people are terrific... love that fearless horn section near the end as well.
