Each and every time that he opens his mouth, it's a heavenly gift!! I love all of the runs and rifts that he always includes in each of his songs! The back-up singers, and the choir, the orchestra just makes it perfect!!❤
His sister is an amazing trumpet player as well. His two daughters are amazing as well and proud to be singing backup with their father. Such a blessed family. Proud parents as well. I’m like you, “ IN AWE”!!!!! The voice , the most phenomenal of all !! The song, the lyrics, So INCREDIBLY ON POINT! our reason for living, JESUS CHRIST, IS AMAZING!!! The Lord, through David, can bring me to my knees with praise everytime!! The powerhouse instrument in his voice is beyond describing , blows my mind, the gift God has given him for all who hear him to ENJOY!!! What a blessing ! What a song!!!!!! Thank you David, I’m wiping a boat load of tears from my face, as I enjoyed this song, & sweet spirit in your delivery!! If there is another David Phelps , I want to meet him! But so far…. HE IS THE ONLY ONE, who can bring down the house with a voice like no other!! Don’t get me wrong, there are ALOT of other male & female singers who are blessed & “SO FANTASTIC”!! Dennis thank you so much for your reaction to this song. It is such a heart string puller to hear in song again how it was was not the 3 nails that held him on that cross but it was his love for us. I love you testimony about rededicating your walk to God. We believe many times we all have had that knock up against the side of the head from the Holy Spirit. You should watch David with the Gaither Vocal Band singing "He's Alive ' at the tent revival concert, it will knock your socks off. I remember singing this (I think the whole song) in choir as a teen, particularly the chorus of the song, I don't remember the rest. But yes, goosebumps 100% very good rendition for sure and David Phelps does have such an amazing voice to sing it. It is only by the grace of God that we are saved, we ARE the reason why He had to suffer and die, He gave all that He could - to show US the reason to live. Amazing!

This is an older song, previously sung by David Meece in the 1980's. He was quite popular back then.
I love David's rendition of this song and that modulation, is just absolutely incredible.
All of David's songs are phenomenal and it's hard to pick out a favourite. One that holds a special place in my heart, is a song David wrote called "One King" he sang it as a duet, with his late sister, Sherri Proctor Phelps, who died of cancer approximately 10 years ago. I would love to see David bring it back to his songlist, as a duet, with one of his daughters. The only version I can currently find, is an audio version with lyrics. The title suggests, he is singing with Sonya Issacs, but it's indeed, his sister Sherri. This song has just an incredible message and the delivery is absolute perfection.
Another favourite I have is a new arrangement of "Oh Holy Night" done as a duet with David and Charlotte Ritchie. The song is actually called "Fall on your knees"
Again, absolutely 💯 perfection.

You know I am a huge David Fan. I've seen others recommend but I will throw it out there too. Gaither Vocal Band with David Phelps 'He's Alive' and 'Let Freedom Ring'. Also at the end of this video it cuts to a group of 4 backup singers (not in the choir) the two girls on the right are his daughters. The one with red feather earrings is none other than Maggie Beth Phelps.

This is an original Christmas song written by David. This is a recorded version from the album. All background vocals on this song were recorded by David as well. On the album this song is from, David recorded background vocals on all songs but 2. It is truly something special. But this song is one of my favorite original Christmas songs and of course David's arrangment and vocal execution are amazing!
