    Incredible stuff, so cool seeing the plugin approached from a live guitar perspective. So many features that are unlocked when you're able to manipulate those extra parameters.

    Thanks for the review! I couldn't agree more. This is a fantastic and lovely sounding reverb plugin. I also have the immerse MKii pedal and knew I wanted the plug--in version the moment I saw it announced. I even left a long favorable review on the Neunaber website after my purchase. As a side note, I did just notice an email that Neunaber sent to all its customers announcing reduced prices and citing COVID-19 and people being stuck home. In particular, I think the Wet plug-in was half off, which looked to be probably the biggest discount on their site. I paid for their pedals I have including the tri-chorus plus (also awesome) and plug-in also and am just a fan.

    Great video, I hope more pedal companies look into making VSTs - specifically EQD for their Afterneath.

    Such a great reverb and so great that it can now be applied to drums, vocals & bass easier in plugin form. I think we’ll be seeing more plugins for popular pedals soon. It just makes sense for studio based projects.

    Thank you, I rarely watch a review of gear without frustration-caused finger biting whilst mentally screaming at the demonstrator to show me what "that" function is for! You managed to leave me very "un-frustrated and non-irritable" so again thank you. The plugin sounds good by the way.

    Dude Metall zone is such a great pedal love it.
    My Fx chain: strymon sunset into an equalizer strymon big sky into a flanger into an envelope filter, thenn boss metall zone and last a compressor. then the looper and then straight direct in into my focusrite. no amp mods needed. sounds epic!!!!!!!!

  • @jemandthemystery

    Impressive, especially for the cost. But…is it just me or does the original Stereo Wet pedal algorithm just sound more organic, warm and integrated with the source sound than anything they’ve made since? The Immerse 2 and this plugin sound good but just a bit separated from the source sound so at some level you know it’s a “pasted on” reverb. Anyone else feel that way?

    Cool sounds! I'm in love with my Immerse, and often record with it in the chain often hoping afterwards I would've had a bit less of it. :D ..That's a way to do it after the fact while mixing. Cool.

    The tilt is does not add octaves it cuts and boosts lows and highs depending on where you set the pivot point.

    This is pretty encompassing , and seems to have a big range. I wonder why they don't have reverb pedals with the same amount of control. I feel kinda silly cause I thought I had an excellent setup,but this blows everything else away. Well sorry to say,I can only afford a very inexpensive pedal once in a blue moon. But I try to be grateful for that.

    Does the LFO setting change the shape of the LFO curve? I'm guessing you'd choose sine, square, and triangle, or something like that. Some fancier modulation pedals offer such things.

    A great plug-in, Bill, thanks for reviewing it! I’m a reverb addict, always happy to find a new good one.
    Do you ever use apps on iPads or iPhones for adding effects? I recently got an iPad and discovered some amazing, high-quality reverbs on there. My favorite is one called FAC Alteza. You really should check that one out, I think you’d go out of your mind over it. :-)

      Depends on what I was looking for in a reverb plugin. :-) That being said, it's hard to beat the Valhalla Shimmer for shimmer reverb sounds.

    What advantage does the plugin have over the actual pedal? I have the Immerse Mark II.

    • @chordsoforion
      @chordsoforion  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Well, if you look at the controls, the plugin has way more options than the Wet pedal. Also, not all of the Wet pedals are stereo. The Immerse is a different thing altogether and can't be compared to the Wer plugin.

    I had the same question about LFOs… I first thought it was a bug… But They answer me : "This is the way the LFO section is supposed to work. You are not adjusting the parameters of different LFOs, but of LFO configurations."

    I've bought this neunaber immerse pedal and it sounds really amazing. But here's the thing you might can help with. Maximum volume of any effects is lower then clear guitar sound. Is there any possibility how to set it up?

    • @chordsoforion
      @chordsoforion  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You must have version 1 of the Immerse pedal. The only option to increase the wet level is to use the kill try switch and put the Immerse into a parallel effects loop. Version 2 of the Immerse does allow the wet mix to go to 100%.

    It's a really nice sound for sure but as far as plugins go this leaves more to be desired. It's kind of a one trick pony. There are no algorithm parameters. It's just one single reverb mode.
