What's so clever is sonic is holding a red mic on the fake intro. The red mic was used by Sonic.exe in the OG sonic.exe mod. Really cool detail!

so many details about this mod and i love it.
like, how sonic is subtly hinting he's exe, in both songs, he's doing the iconic "looking away" fakeout pose. sonic doesn't actually do that pose THAT often, so to have TWO songs utilize it, and you never notice is something.
or that free 4 me is (supposedly) used ai to create the lyrics, regardless on if its true or not, its a perfect song that both looks inconspicuous AND suspicious at the same time. dropping subtle hints that exe is gunna attack you, while not being out of character for a sonic character to sing.
obituary is probably one of the best songs ive ever heard. tops every sonic.exe song for sure, and that's their DEMO?!
that this is sonic.exe, not xenophanes, not lord x, albeit both are great, i think seeing the ACTUAL sonic.exe making a return is really nice for once. he's like, the icon of .exe's even if he's both a joke AND created by a suspicious person
Churgney explained he sang the song and they used AI to make it sound like this mods sonic voice actor (sorry, dont remember who it was) sang it.
Both parties consented to it and honestly its a very creative use of AI, and one that actually takes effort

Although yeah being made as a joke and a not so nice Person, seeing OG sonic.exe (aka 2011) taking back his throne after many mods and few failed attempts of replacing him and few failed mods, you can never replace the classics
Not sure if you know this or not, but fun fact: this mod was made by the majority of the old sonic.exe mod dev team (the one that got cancelled) not sure if this is like an official remake of it but it’s technically Vs. Sonic.exe v3/4 which is pretty cool

plus, the owners of the new Sonic.exe also took one word or two i nthe development of this mod.
It’s actually an official remake, it’s even made by Joedoughboi (the creator of Lord X sonic and the starter for many exe’s) plus the old dev team and a few memorizable members as well, this might be the “rerun” for Sonic.exe as a whole

Fun fact: this mod shows no hints of sonic.exe at all, not even in the game files. Which means that this mod cleverly tricks you into thinking that this is just a normal sonic mod
