This story truly highlights the power of speaking up with calm and dignity. Captain James Porter’s words, 'Respect shouldn't depend on who you think someone is; it's about who they are,' resonate deeply ❤❤❤

I'm Australian, and one of my best friends is Fijian. When she was working in the government, she use to dress very casually on weekends. One time, her friend, who is a white Australian, who also works in the government, dresses very casually on weekends as well, decided she needed a new car, so they went together looking at cars. At one of the car dealership, she found a car she liked, and the salesman, was very rude, wouldn't let her take the car for a test drive and kept saying she wouldn't be able to get a loan for the car, everytime they tried to talk to him, he'd talk over them, so they left, went to another car dealership, she found the car she liked, and paid for it in full, then she drove to the other dealership, spoke to the manager and told him what sale they just missed out on because of their salesman. So yes, people do judge people on how they look and what they wear.

What an eye-opening experience! It’s frustrating to see how people can be judged based on appearance, and how that affects their opportunities. Your friend handled it with such confidence, and it’s awesome that she took action to make sure the dealership knew how they missed out. It’s a reminder that everyone deserves respect, no matter how they look or dress. Thanks for sharing this story!

I suppose it's the "Fine Feathers make a Fine Bird" thing, huh? With proverbs like that around, equality and respect are just empty words.... Oh, well, we're talking about humanity after all. One of the most biased and subjectively judgemental beings in universe.

Too far fetched. Look at your average first class cabin. The number of people in suits are few, and they are from different backgrounds. When I pay $5,000 for my seat, I’m wearing whatever I want.

As an HGV driver I often get treated 2 nd class jn backwards Britain. Like 18th th century. Class system.
What I find funny though, is that the minute I open my mouth , most people realise that i speak English better than the very people judging me by my " simple " professions.. 😅( I am EU and multilingual 😅).

What an incredible and inspiring story! Captain James Porter’s calm yet firm response turned what could have been a moment of injustice into a powerful lesson for everyone on board. His ability to stand tall and educate not only the flight crew but also the passengers about respect and equality is truly commendable.
This is a reminder of how important it is to challenge assumptions and treat everyone with dignity, no matter their appearance or status. Captain Porter’s words, ‘I fly this plane,’ will resonate with many as a call to not judge a book by its cover.
Kudos to Skylux Airlines for addressing the situation, but I hope they take this as an opportunity to train their staff better. Moments like this are about more than one person-they’re about creating systemic change. Thank you for sharing this powerful story! 👏👏

Subtitles sometimes have the spelling wrong. Story has too many almost cartoonish stereotypes and the plot is not only unrealistic but the direction the story will take is also very obvious from the start, which makes the whole story boring. The racial stereotyping messaging is also too on the nose. A bit of subtlety could greatly enhance whatever you are trying to do there. Overall rating: Thunbs down; 1/10; waste of time.
