I am looking for a 55-inch TV and sorted Toshiba m550MP, Hisense U6K, and E7KPro. I also watched some other reviews. Some say Toshiba TVs aren't that good for dark scenes and have upscaling issues. I will watch mostly OTT content, TH-cam, and Jio TV, and I won't be doing any gaming on these TVs; I have a separate setup for that. Could you please recommend one for the best video quality and viewing experience? Will go with Hisense manufacturing only.

But it’s not the case with all units and that can happen with any brand and any model. So you can choose between the two Toshiba TVs brother. My pick for your requirement would be the M650MP.

However, dark scenes on this TV are a nightmare. While watching Netflix content with mostly dark scenes, you just want to skip the scene. Once I increase brightness beyond 50-55, it shows a hazy or foggy layer on the screen. The QLED and FALD don't make that much sense; my old Sony LED has better picture quality. I just wanted to save few thousand otherwise I could have gone with Sony 55X74L. There's little blooming, but that isn't a big deal. Also, blacks aren't that great. 4K HDR with bright scenes looks outstanding. Sound quality is undoubtedly fantastic; you don't need any external speakers until you get true Dolby sound. Should I contact Toshiba regarding this, or is it a common problem with budget QLEDs?
@BabitSingh have bought 65inch M550MP as it has IPS panel. Costed me 47k from Flipkart. Do you have info on the no.# of dimming zones in it ? I belive 65inch will have much more zones than 55inch ones. OR is there any youtube video with which i can myself findout this easily..

I would go with the E7K pro cause I’m fond of gaming but if you are into content only then you can go with the U6K followed by the T6G which will give you a mix of both content and gaming.

It depends, IPS panels generally have a contrast ratio of 1200:1 or 1300:1 and VA panels have 4000:1 to 6000:1. So it all depends on what you need, VA panels have the better contrast and blacks but poor viewing angles.

TV models can vary based on geography brother. U6K is a model that you can buy even if its manufactured by Dixon. The issue was only with Toshiba M550MP manufactured by Dixon in some units, not all units.

@@Ashwanisoni333 my pleasure brother. I generally use my Harman Kardon Onyx speakers the most for my TV and it’s enough for my personal use. It’s not got Dolby Atmos but the sound fidelity is mighty good still. You can actually look at the Sony HT-20R: amzn.to/3vSbLS8 It’s not got Atmos but it’s got Dolby Digital and is an actually 5.1 system.

One of the ports is HDMI 2.1 which is also the eARC port. And in anyways it does not matter brother, cause the TV is not a 4K 120 hz, its 4k@60hz and 1080p@120hz.

VRR and ALM is there in 43 inches as well. Plz make sure that you HDMI is kept in Enhanced mode and not Standard Mode as VRR will not work in Standard Mode.
@@ctamang 120hz definitely makes the games look smoother but you even need the hardware for it brother. On the PS5 and Series X most games generally run at 1080p or 1440p@120hz and they mostly have games which run 4k@60fps and for that this TV is good enough brother.

Hi Babit , Happy New year 2024 It's true Dixon Technologies make very bad quality TV, I had also purchased Samsung 4k TV 55inch made by them and return it next day to Flipkart and also get refund fortunately.
@@tulasiram89 The TCL T6G is a better TV over all brother. There are some quality concerns with the M550MP model specially when it comes to the HDR performance. So, if I had to choose one for myself, I would take the TCL T6G as well. But the TCL T6G is a VA panel. The other choice is also to look at the Hisense E7K Pro if you are specifically looking at an IPS panel since the 65 inch is an IPS panel brother.

Hi Brother, loving your reviews. Could you help me with my purchase, i am planning to buy a 4k ips 55 inch tv within 40k budget for PS5 gaming and ott content watching. IPS display because its a well lit room. And having 2nd thoughts on E7K pro due to it being VA panel.
Most 2023 models in that budget all come with a VA panel brother. If you are OK with 60hz then the Toshiba M550LP from 2022 had a 55 inch IPS panel. Or the Tornado 2.0 had an IPS panel in 55 inches. I have a TCL C725 in my family and despite of a Va panel the viewing angles are not as bad so you can also check out the TCL T6G in a showroom before making a purchase brother.

With a TV you and a projector you can enjoy with your whole family but with a VR headset its is only meant for one person at a time. Besides, using it for long hours can cause Eye fatigue in my opinion. The easiest to operate is a QLED TV and will be my first preference.

You cannot go wrong with either as long as you look after the TV that is getting a stabiliser or a UPS and never cleaning your TV with a wet cloth.

It's true Dixon Technologies make very bad quality TV,
I had also purchased Samsung 4k TV 55inch made by them and return it next day to Flipkart and also get refund fortunately.

Tornado 2.0 and Thosiba MP550
Toshiba M550MP is a superior TV compared to the Tornado 2.0 but also check out the TCL T6G which is in almost the same budget.

@@tulasiram89 The TCL T6G is a better TV over all brother. There are some quality concerns with the M550MP model specially when it comes to the HDR performance. So, if I had to choose one for myself, I would take the TCL T6G as well. But the TCL T6G is a VA panel. The other choice is also to look at the Hisense E7K Pro if you are specifically looking at an IPS panel since the 65 inch is an IPS panel brother.

Could you help me with my purchase, i am planning to buy a 4k ips 55 inch tv within 40k budget for PS5 gaming and ott content watching.
IPS display because its a well lit room. And having 2nd thoughts on E7K pro due to it being VA panel.
Most 2023 models in that budget all come with a VA panel brother. If you are OK with 60hz then the Toshiba M550LP from 2022 had a 55 inch IPS panel. Or the Tornado 2.0 had an IPS panel in 55 inches. I have a TCL C725 in my family and despite of a Va panel the viewing angles are not as bad so you can also check out the TCL T6G in a showroom before making a purchase brother.

With a TV you and a projector you can enjoy with your whole family but with a VR headset its is only meant for one person at a time. Besides, using it for long hours can cause Eye fatigue in my opinion. The easiest to operate is a QLED TV and will be my first preference.

Yes, I am aware of that now brother. And I may talk about it in a future video of mine. But the Toshiba model were the ones which were problematic.
