Or maybe even a third upgrade for the factorys could be fun. Or a tunnel but not just to go thru mountains but a regular tunnel under the street. And lastly maybe as like a weekly upgrade a dumptruck that can remove/move a factory or couple houses!!

Sometimes it’s just not feasible to speed up traffic flow at a destination, simply because there aren’t enough spots for cars to park in. A new item that could add an extra parking lot to a destination (along with a new road connection) would be beyond helpful. But, of course, the new lot would take up a few extra squares of space on the other side of the destination, so you’d have to relocate any roads in that area first. (For simplicity’s sake, this upgrade probably wouldn’t be available during challenge maps where houses can spawn right next to destinations, but that’s just my take on it.) Another thing I’d like to see is a (rare) item that can demolish a single house - because we’ve all had that moment where a single stubborn house spawn completely ruins all the plans you’ve been working on. Similar to how road-like items already work, the demolition would (probably?) have to wait until both cars associated with that house returned home.
The thing I want to see next in Mini Motorways is Air traffic! Since we have trains, I think we should have airports that require its own traffic control for the air. Or maybe even sea ways and boat traffic. Adding the things would have the player stay on their toes as they now must manage multiple types of traffic. The thing I want most in Mini Motorways is a more colorful dark theme. The light theme currently has a vibrant version, with an accent color that fits the theme of the map/city, but right now, there’s only one version of the dark theme.

It would allow you to create a tunnel that is a set length (i.e. 3 tiles) which would allow for more complex and dynamic game play bc you could create your roads with it in mind.
The thing I want to see most in mini motorways is trucks, we have trains, why no trucks. They could be slowing moving but hold more of a load (sentencing). This would allow for more creativity since a strategy could include segregating the trucks from the cars so that the trucks don’t slow down the cars but sending them to the same destination, allowing for more variety and strategy, etc. Honorable mention to the guy who said sandbox mode or a challenge editor type thing (I don’t know if that exists I haven’t played the game in a year or so). The next thing I want to see in Mini Motorways is harbors. The rivers, oceans, and seas can have harbors spawn the pips come in from boats. The harbors block bridges from being built down a river creating a new challenge around the rivers. There can also be draw bridges where if a boat is crossing underneath the bridge, the cars can’t cross over the bridge. You can start with one regular bridge that is not affected by boats, but all bridges from weekly upgrades would be draw bridges. I think this would add a whole new dynamic to bridges and waterways making for some exciting gameplay.

Random reference but kinda like the guitar hero faceoff game mode. I think it’s a big ask but it would put some stakes in the game instead of just going for a high leaderboard placement.

You shouldn't be able to undo everything, and it should probablt be so that you can only undo your one or two latest moves. But I really need an undo button for when I acidentally remove a motorway or roundabout and it kills me... 😅

Not just making custom maps with custom color spawns, but being able to create custom scenarios for the maps as well. It would be cool if even more options are available to the custom creator than are available with the default scenarios (or weekly/daily challenges). The sky is the limit with a custom creator!
The thing I want to see next in Mini Motorways is long slow trucks or more vehicle variation. Without trucks how are the shops getting all the items stocked 🤔 maybe they should be required to be connected to the edge of maps/rivers/airports. perhaps the timer should be on the tucks or depos.
The thing I want to see next in Mini Motorways is a mode where you can 'go infinite' again. I miss the feeling of being able to "solve" a level and feeling like I've truly mastered it. It feels good to know my city is (relatively) happy and balanced, and I can finally feel satisfied instead of stressed, or like creeping death is inevitable... Completion of such a mode would presumably need to be something more "achievement" based without high-score leaderboards as a high score wouldn't mean anything. It would also enable me to encourage some of my friends to pick up the game, because they're not interested in high score games as it stands-- but having "levels" to "beat" would be far more appealing to them.

The player should make infrastructure for each city and between cities. It would also be nice if this game mode has no 'game over', so you can build on a world long term.
I'm 10 minutes in and the poor blue houses that spawned at the beginning of the game are still on the red/yellow double destination road... my poor blue doods 😢
The thing I want to see next in Mini Motorways is more building types! Whether that be things like apartment buildings with a higher vehicle capacity or drive-thrus that can be smaller buildings that cars can get through more easily and require a one way exit. I think simple additions like that can add a nice amount of diversity to the alrady existing maps while not needing any changes in mechanics. Another couple of small suggestions: The ability to have exits for the motorways mid-route that would use road tiles. It would be a buff to the motorways but with the addition of more building types or more complex systems in general it could balance out. Bridges can be used to go over existing roads on land. I think this would be a balanced alternative use of bridges that adds more possibilites to a playthrough while also needing the player to watch and choose their resources carefully. (On a side note I discovered your channel a few months ago when I discovered Mini Motorways and have always found them very soothing to watch and listen to, extremely glad you're back)
The thing I want to see next in mini motorways are slip roads and bigger motorways. The slip roads could make it so we are focused on building many connections around a few limited super motorways so that we can focus on making useful connections all over the place and not overloading the motorway by adding too many different colours to it. There could also be mini roundabouts like we have here in the UK to spruce up the little housing estates that end up spawning. An area of the map is highlighted yellow and any roads in that area are slowed down, causing you to have to work around those areas or add highways to places you didn’t think you’d need just to speed cars back up.
The thing I want to see next in mini motorways is different house types such as apartments that take up a larger space, like the size of a 4x4 cube, but have more cars that spawn from it. This creates different strategies since they are larger obstacles to maneuver around and where to put these bigger houses since the local destination might but be the best utilization of them.
The thing I want to see next in mini moterways is different game modes. I was thinking like a speed game mode where houses and store pop up quicker and days pass faster. Or a VS game mode where players can see who can go for the longest and once the points get to a certain amount start the surges. There could also be a multi player game mode where there are two players playing the same game. I also wanted to see game modes that are tricky in different ways like more colors or farther distances.

It would be cool if even more options are available to the custom creator than are available with the default scenarios (or weekly/daily challenges). The sky is the limit with a custom creator!

The thing I want to see next in Mini Motorways is long slow trucks or more vehicle variation. Without trucks how are the shops getting all the items stocked 🤔 maybe they should be required to be connected to the edge of maps/rivers/airports. perhaps the timer should be on the tucks or depos.

The thing I want to see next in Mini Motorways is a mode where you can 'go infinite' again. I miss the feeling of being able to "solve" a level and feeling like I've truly mastered it. It feels good to know my city is (relatively) happy and balanced, and I can finally feel satisfied instead of stressed, or like creeping death is inevitable...
Completion of such a mode would presumably need to be something more "achievement" based without high-score leaderboards as a high score wouldn't mean anything.
It would also enable me to encourage some of my friends to pick up the game, because they're not interested in high score games as it stands-- but having "levels" to "beat" would be far more appealing to them.
The thing I want to see next in Mini Motorways is an Android build! I would absolutely love to play this game on my phone but I do not have an iPhone, so I can only play when at my PC. Not very interesting response, I know, but urrrgh I would love it so much.
The thing I want to see next in mini motorways is a new harder mode that also uses The mechanichs from Mini Metro in which You multitask between a underground metro and a city above! It would be very hard but i think it would increase The amount of multitasking and opportunities to add mechanichs like, if You have a red population below that goes to the right sometimes you could get a thing to bring a population from below above and viceversa
I wish mini-motorways added some button to show recently spawned buildings. sometimes hard to notice them when city becomes large and busy with motorways above it

The thing I want to see next in Mini Motorways is a broader map of a country/region. Within the region there are different cities with their own mini motorways. The player should make infrastructure for each city and between cities. It would also be nice if this game mode has no 'game over', so you can build on a world long term.

The thing I want to see next in Mini Motorways is more building types! Whether that be things like apartment buildings with a higher vehicle capacity or drive-thrus that can be smaller buildings that cars can get through more easily and require a one way exit. I think simple additions like that can add a nice amount of diversity to the alrady existing maps while not needing any changes in mechanics.
Another couple of small suggestions:
The ability to have exits for the motorways mid-route that would use road tiles. It would be a buff to the motorways but with the addition of more building types or more complex systems in general it could balance out.
Bridges can be used to go over existing roads on land. I think this would be a balanced alternative use of bridges that adds more possibilites to a playthrough while also needing the player to watch and choose their resources carefully.
(On a side note I discovered your channel a few months ago when I discovered Mini Motorways and have always found them very soothing to watch and listen to, extremely glad you're back)
The thing I want to see next in mini motorways are slip roads and bigger motorways. The slip roads could make it so we are focused on building many connections around a few limited super motorways so that we can focus on making useful connections all over the place and not overloading the motorway by adding too many different colours to it.
There could also be mini roundabouts like we have here in the UK to spruce up the little housing estates that end up spawning.

The thing I want to see next in Mini motorways is construction zones! An area of the map is highlighted yellow and any roads in that area are slowed down, causing you to have to work around those areas or add highways to places you didn’t think you’d need just to speed cars back up.
The thing I want to see next in mini motorways is different house types such as apartments that take up a larger space, like the size of a 4x4 cube, but have more cars that spawn from it. This creates different strategies since they are larger obstacles to maneuver around and where to put these bigger houses since the local destination might but be the best utilization of them.
The thing I want to see next in mini moterways is different game modes. I was thinking like a speed game mode where houses and store pop up quicker and days pass faster. Or a VS game mode where players can see who can go for the longest and once the points get to a certain amount start the surges. There could also be a multi player game mode where there are two players playing the same game. I also wanted to see game modes that are tricky in different ways like more colors or farther distances.
The thing I want to see next in Mini Motorways is underground tunnels sort of like a motorway but instead of going over roads, it goes underground and can go through mountains. The difference between this and a motorway is that there wouldn't be a significant speed boost using one.

The thing I want to see in mini motorways is more customizable motorways. Maybe you have a large population of one color and they need to get to two destinations but on the same line. Half the cars can get off the motorway early and get to the first location and the rest use the entire length to get to the furthest location
