In 1957, I was a 12 year old pre-teen who LOVED CARS ! THIS CAR was like it came from out of space ! It was magnificent ! The ONLY CAR that looked futuristic that DIDN'T have FINS !
When I was a kid in the 60s, old people had these cars. I hated them of course, because I liked the new cars GTOs, Wildcats, Riviera's, Chargers, 4-4-2s, etc. But now that I'm old, I see the beauty in these types of cars. I love it because it's totally unique!
@frankmariani1259 ahh, right. Probably no a/c too, so you'd roll down the rear window and the intakes would pull in the fresh air and cool the cabin. Thanks Frank!👍
MY FATHER BOUGHT A BRAND NEW ONE BACK IN 57. HE WAS WOKEN UP ONE MORNING IN THE BACK SEAT BY A SHERIFF AND THE CAR IN A DITCH, AFTER BEING OUT WITH HIS DRINKING BUDDIES. THE CAR WAS TOTALED. HE ONLY HAD IT A FEW MONTHS. INSURANCE PAID IT OFF.
Incredibly Beauuutiful!

awesome amazing
A work of art.
Man that's my dream car 🚗
Coefficient of Drag be damned.
So those roof mounted antennas were just radio antennas. Odd, but very cool
Those were air intakes also. The real antenna was on the fender at an angle.

A beautiful example of a really homely car.
But it’s ugly
Yeh, I like today's cars that all look alike.😅
Talking about yourself again I see!!!🤔🤨🧐😝🤪🤭
