  • A family of free roaming cats are stuck outside with a cold snap on it's way, can the pet helpers get to them and keep them safe before they freeze? Troubled dogs are saved from being euthanised, but is their behaviour too much for the shelter?
Give Me Shelter puts the viewers in the middle of a no-kill rescue shelter. From rescue runs to save hopeless animals, to successful adoption events, to the private thoughts of the characters involved, the audience will intimately experience it all.

Goodness and kindness begets goodness and kindness. Positive energy is powerful. We must all do good deeds to fight against evil.

That mother cat was not feral. I work TNR and when she allowed them to pick her up they should have seen this. She should have been adopted out of Shelter. That lady doesn't know what she's doing.

finding adult cats a new home is a time devouring effort when there are already so many other adult cats also still waiting for a new home
mama cat still has a home with her colony and with the center they live near, even though it isn't an adoption home

Thank you God for these wonderful organizations and good people who TRULY help and care for our innocent animals and children and our planet. This is sometimes very difficult and dangerous. It takes a certain kind of human to deal with all of it. I thank God for them. May they be blessed always. In Jesus name Amen

Lord have mercy. That trapper doesn’t know cats very well and I’ve been rescuing cats for 50 years.

Seriously?! What type of (kitty) rescue worker doesn't have at least ONE pair of SAFETY GLOVES??!! Jeez, too frustrating to watch.

If a stray kitten scratches you it can transfer Cat Scratch Fever. And yes that is a real thing 🙂

Someone should have put a dog house at the retirement home, for shelter for the momma cat.

No need for dog houses nor expensive beds. Nope. Cardboard 📦 boxes is where cats love to live and sleep. Buy something nice for yourself and give the cat the package that it came in.

This woman knows nothing concerning cat behavior whether the cat is feral or not. A feral cat would not allow you to get to close to them let alone pick them up. I have a feral cat I take care outside my home.

I find that it is immoral that in a civilized country the dogs in the kennels are killed, in Italy this barbaric and uncivil practice has been abolished since years

No maam! Not all humans are good! And ear tipping is not just the tip of the ear. They amputate 1/3 of the cat's ear! It's barbaric!

i volunteered at a animal shelter seven days a week for months 8 hours a day and NEVER ONCE ran into someone there a DENSE as Nanette. She was so determined to not use a humane trap but do the capture all by hand. My learned opinion is Nanette is so desperate for human attention and approval she will risk her safety, and that of others just to get it.

To be fair, she stated she personally doesn’t want to handle cats especially after being bit by one. Not to mention a cat bite can become very infected and not to mention from an unvaccinated one.
The lady is just being cautious.
