I LOVED your playing here, Jason. Unfortunately, unless SPAH requires Covid vaccinations, I won't be in attendance although I was looking forward to finally getting back to SPAH one of these years. I would have really enjoyed seeing you play onstage. I'm also very impressed with your music library! Albums galore AND cassettes - although I don't see very many cd's if at all? Perhaps they're somewhere else if you have them? My brother had a collection similar to this (prior ot his death - as well as fantastic tall floor speakers) and everything had to be 'just so' like yours. ;) Your paint colour is my own personal favourite as well. My pantry/laundry room is that colour - and I hope to expand it to more rooms. Definitely helps cheer up even a dreary and rainy California day. :)
I'm glad new chromatics keep coming. It means new introductions from Jason Keene. New marvelous tunes, fresh musical ideas. In fact any chromatic harmonica, from any manufacturer... all sound beautiful. It's not much about instrument, really, but incredible talent of Jason Keene.. Thank you for sharing. And BRAVO 👏 👏👏
Great video Jason. I have a question for you: which chromatic harmonica do you recommend me? I have a super chromonica and I didn't play it so much because of my fear of getting a reed sticky and not being able to work in it due to the nails of the reed plates. Now I want to learn in a much more professional and deeper way than just playing some harp tabs. I want something that lasts long, without being extremely expensive (maybe I'm asking to much hahaha). I hope you can help me. And I also extend the question to @BrendanPowerMusic and, of course, every harmonica enthusiast (I know everyone here is hehehe 😝😝) Have a nice day 😊
Once again humbled by your talent and level of mastery of the chromatic the result of years of hard work. Congrats on the SPAH invite you earned it and deserve it !!! By the way what is the story behind the new back drop?
You are too kind! The backdrop is 1/4 of the walls in my man cave, consisting of 4,000 LP’s, Laserdiscs, Reel to Reel tapes, cassettes, and a whole buncha Chromatic harmonicas…cheers!
Master jazzharmonicaplayer!!! This a fact!!!
Congratulations from BraSil
Sweet Jason! I tried the Volcany earlier this year and agree it's excellent 👌
Beautiful work Jason - I look forward to meeting you at SPAH!
I recently purchased the Volancy as well.
(Just wish had your outstanding jazz chops)
Soulful and swinging and melodic - you've got it all my friend! Congratulations!
Oh man, I really dig that slower swing groove on this . Made me want to dance. So looking forward to hanging with you at spaH. Awesome as always.
Sublime ❤

Complements. Not even 1 note that doesn't match.
