Great track. Found your channel yesterday when searching for a MIDI harmonica. Stayed for the great jams.

I'm a trombone player and was looking at learning harmonica. I also own the SWAM instruments AND was looking for a way to learn harmonica without annoying my neighbors. You have ticked all the boxes. I might have to pick up both of these devices and maybe take some lessons! Thanks!

folks, comments like “I like the real harmonica better” get removed. I play both instruments , and love them both. Harmonicas have a wonderful sound, but are limited to sounding like a harmonica, unless you put it through effects. The DM48 can sound like anything your imagination can conjure, and plays with plenty of soul , so the comments of “I like the real harmonica better” are like saying I like the trumpet better than the clarinet. Apples and Oranges, people. And, no, I don’t think the harmonica is more “Soulful“. The soul comes from the player, not the instrument. This was just a little ditty I put up to cheer myself up and demo how different horn combos sound when performing live. Nothing more, nothing less.

I don’t work for the company, but I have been to Sweden, it’s really beautiful! I just really love this instrument, it’s giving harmonica players a whole new set of options at gigs, and in the studio.

Great playing and sounds - you are a one man band. I am curious, is this instrument something anyone could play, or are some of the musical moves only accessible to someone who already knows how to play a diatonic or chromatic harmonica? By the way, I was just checking out aerophones, and from the examples I heard, they don't produce the same quality of sounds as this.
