- The emerald blue-green lake of Khurpatal is located on Nainital - Kaladhungi road in the Nainital district of Uttarakhand. The place is surrounded by lofty pine and old cedar trees offering a gorgeous vista of the mountains.
नैनीताल - कालाढूंगी रोड में नैनीताल से 11 किलोमीटर की दूरी पर स्थित यह गांव चारों तरफ से सुन्दर पहाड़ियों से घिरा है। शांत झील, ऊंचे ऊंचे देवदार के साथ चीड़ के वृक्ष इस जगह के प्राकर्तिक सौंदर्य को अलग पहचान देते है।

Kathgodam stn se khurpatal ki bus h kya agar ha to wo kya khurpatal hokar Nainital jati hai?
Kathgodam ki jagah, Kaladhungi se seedhe Nainital jaane wali bus/ taxi Khurpatal hote hue jaati hai.

Nainital se Khurpatal ke liye taxi mil jaayengi
Nainital se kuch kilometer pahle Rusi bend se bhi Khurpatal panhuch sakte hai lekin is route me regular taxi shayad na mile

Kaladhungi se Nainital Jaane wali bus se jaayen to pahle Khurpatal Milega
Kathgodam se jaate hue pahale Nainital Jana hoga, waha se taxi le sakte hai. Waise Nainital se pahle aane wale Rusi bend se Nainital pauch sakte hai, lekin bus service ki jankari nahi.

आपकी जानकारी के लिए हमें खुर्पाताल नाम से जुड़ी यह जानकारी - एक गेस्ट हाउस के स्वामी - हेमंत बिष्ट जी से, जो यहाँ के स्थानीय निवासी और जानकार है, के संदर्भ से मिली। जिनके अनुसार - राजस्व अभिलेखों मे इस जगह का नाम कुरपखा दर्ज है। जो अंग्रेजों द्वारा सहीं उच्चारण न होने से बिगड़ कर खुरपा हो गया। बाकीं तो कहानियाँ है - जिसने जो सुना दी, वहीं आगे चल पड़ी।
