Love the fact that the chef at 1:53 tried to intimidate Gordon, probably not knowing that Gordon has a black belt in karate and doesnt get easily intimidated anyway to begin with.

From what I've heard, Gordon mostly loses his mind in american shows towards adults who have supposedly made culinary arts their career. In shows where the stars are kids aspiring to be cooks or chefs outside of the US with a seemingly larger sense of professionalism, he seems to be far more patient and a more relaxed sense of humor.
American producers were DEFINITELY pushing for a Chef Simon Cowell in the first seasons. (There was a segment in the intro of the first season where the girls were literally comparing him to Simon Cowell).

It's the later seasons is where his insults were just ran by the production.

I remember watching the first few episodes of Master Chefs Jr. when it first premiered, and there was a part where one of the kids didn’t finish his dish on time. He was starting to tear up, Gordon came over and tried to calm him down, assuring him that it’s okay. Gordon’s such a fun personality, but he’s quite a gentleman (despite the video).

@bladenight23 When you realize there is a specific person on the editing team who's entire job it is to censor cursing, this means they may have had to hire someone else to share that workload or that person was doing a lot of overtime. Yeah, they probably thought it was easier to just change how he speaks rather than hire a whole second person to censor him
Contestants weren’t given fair warning about Ramsey’s temper in season 1.

Sweet how you avoid to mention that he is insulting people first (and often personally and/or on a sexual level) basically every time and just wants to rile them up to then be the "big badass". Textbook "puperty teenager in school" behaviour. He is just an arrogant prick who earns money with it and because people like you are really good at selective listening, it actually works. Honestly quite sad if you look at it socially. We talk about equality for everybody and stuff, but then love a brazen asshole who doesn't respect others one inch apparently and is known for his sexist statements and behaviour, even in front of the camera.
Also he's very supportive and encouraging of kid chefs and chefs with disabilities. I've seen clips of him encouraging the kid chefs and there was one where a chef was blind and she made her dish perfectly and Gordon just uplifted her

3. He repeatedly refused to employ female chefs on the basis that he finds nothing less sexy than a professional female cook, or that they could get pregnant. (You can google the citations, he actually said that in interviews and in front of cameras)
4. 2010 TV show with a female actress, where Ramsay continually harrassed, mocked and touched her.
5. Multiple allegations to him being violent and sexist to former employees and reporters, e.g. an incident where he kept pushing one until he fell and hurt his ankle.
There is tons of evidence out there because he literally doesn't give a fuck and just tells people about it, even bragging to be this volatile guy.

Gordon is basically impossible to cancel, he just doesn’t care. He gives 0 fcks at all, he just says it how it is, he has no time for anyone who’s rude or disrespectful. But when people genuinely want to learn he’s very supportive.

Actually I think a better combination would be Wildcat, nogla and Gordon. I think Scotty and Anthony would just end up laughing the whole time. I still think it's really funny when people from other countries that have different accents or languages are arguing, cuz half the time I can't understand it and it just sounds really funny.

Gordon Ramsay has spent his entire career gaining enough power and fame to say everything every chef has ever wanted to say to his staff and annoying customers.
Also once the series started airing the customers at the restaurant would often be there for Ramsay dunking on his staff as much as the food.
As a kitchen porter, I can confirm my head chef is basically this but the Irish version.

you both are coming up with better insults for what she did than Ramsay did! Ramsay knows where it hurts when it comes to insults. But here's a thing about him: He had a horrible childhood which changed him in a positive and negative way. His father was abusive and his mother was beaten all the time, it got so bad his mother had to go to the hospital and he and his siblings were taken to a care house. He didn't want anybody else to experience that so, even though he seem to be angry all the time, he always treats his daughters and sons nicely and wants to be the best father ever

What's baffling is that even into later episodes there are still people that bad mouth Gordon to his face when he asks for basic and simple tasks.

I love watching gordon. Hes harsh but fair with the adults and really dead on with the kids. You definitely need to check out gino decampo is a chef friend of Gordon's. Hes very funny. 4:16 this reminds me of a time I was working at McDonald's during high-school and it was about 11a.m, were were barely moving from breakfast to lunch and a guy comes in asking if he can still order a bagel, he can and orders a BEC bagel and says he was going to go use the restroom and he'd be right out. After him a different guy orders a McDouble and waits. The BEC bagel and McDouble both have white wrappers with blue lettering on them and whoever was serving the food mixed the orders. The guy who ordered the McDouble got the BEC bagel and went to go sit down and literally at all except for one bite then comes back to the counter saying we got the order wrong and giving our manager attitude

Fun Fact:
Gordon is actually dealing far nicer blows than he was dealt. One of his cooking teachers was a world famous 5-star French chef, and Gordon recounts how one time, one of the cooks moved a pot of sauce to another burner without his teacher’s permission, and when his teacher found out, he just dumped the entire pot of boiling pasta sauce on the cook, and made him clean up the mess.
