The atmosphere was fantastic....! the audience simultaneously stood up during the third number of the set as they couldn't resist the urge to express their excitement and pleasure......EVERYONE was thoroughly pumped up and engaged in the performance...would see that show again in a heartbeat... The sound was awesome thanks to a really tight band and an excellent room...
Saw him twice in the 80s in Vancouver at the Pacific Coliseum a few years apart. WOW! Two of the best shows I've seen in my whole life. He travelled with his violinist of course (who totally blew everyone away) and a full choir and orchestra at that point. It was quite a show. Sorry I missed him this time. It would have been nice to see him in concert again, especially at the Orpheum.

I watched him in Evansville last weekend. Really good show, a slow start but that's because there is a 30 minute start of old / classic movies that leads into the show.

i saw him in MD opening for Heart. Heart got booed off the stage. We were there for JOHN COUGAR MELLENCAMP. They had to bring him out again
Carbondale Il for me. At the end of the show we all said he was better then Heart on that night.
I think he still sounds good. Sure he's slowed down but who hasn't? His music will stand the test of time, and that's what matters.

My dad was born in 1950 and he would play Cherry Bomb all the time, he loved it. I never really understood why, until I myself, got older.
