I never see community posts/polls. I think it's because I to to YT from my computer and link directly to the subscriptions page. I'm fine with partial tutorials as long as we get to see what it all looks like finished in the end. I follow a couple of other colorists that show how to to one feature on the page (like one type of leaf, a few bricks on a wall, or a short part of a border), skip to an image of all of that feature done, then move to the next... and it's a great solution. Shortens the videos without losing anything important, yet allows them to color the page in a natural way.
The polls come up on my main TH-cam page in the community tab, some people get notifications and I think it depends what notifications you have switched on. I can see that those types of videos could be good, I have tried that a few times, but I lose the flow of my conversation!
ok I literally just did that whale on the facing page yesterday, but in my copy it's facing the other way! lol I prefer a whole video but honestly it doesn't matter, I'm retired! lol I'll watch either way.
❤hi Rachel thank you the seaweed is coming on nicely.. it was lovely hearing u chat about your ivf and having them I suffered from post Nat with 3 of my kids lucky I had my plants and colouring in for my time.. your a wonderful friend I don’t mind for these videos I’ll need them when I’m in hospital after Friday this week take care my friend ❤xx
I was going through some of my less used pencils yesterday and was reminded about my Cezanne's, which I basically forgot about. Since your Ergo's are discontinued now these might be a good alternative. They are thin, on the dry side.. but nowhere near as hard as the Staedtler Designs/Norris. They also come in 120 colors, can sort of be ordered open stock (6 packs) and are very inexpensive. You might see if they are on UK Amazon.. they are sold by Jerry's Artarama here in the US but our Amazon has them as well. There is a small 24 pack in a rather nice folding cardboard box, a 72, and the 120 as far as I know. The two larger come in tins.

I seem to remember the US edition of the book has the whale facing the other way to the UK edition!
