What I like about Villainous is that Spanish just gives it a different and energetic atmosphere. Dementia for example has just the right tone that she doesn't seem flat in regards to how crazy and hyper she is, the voice actor does a good job in making her character seem real. All of them do really. I think the only downside I've seen to Villainous is some toxicity between English and Spanish speaking fans. Idk the same usual toxicity you see with anime when it comes to the whole sub vs dub nonsense, but honestly Spanish or English im happy this show didn't just get thrown away and forgotten... you see that way to much when it comes to big animation companies like CN, Nickelodeon, Disney, etc. To many good shows with potential get dropped right after the pilot or first season.

But since her power is just evaporate liquid, she need to create something that fit eith her power, and thats where flug come in. It's very unique how this show represents Heroes and Villains. This show basically makes Heroes look like villains towards the actual villains and makes the villains seem like...heroes? In their own way even though they aren't good guys

They wrote a villain that's relateable with our social-media obsessed cultures. Not only does it address those issues of inability to love one's self, but the way people project that onto Social Media and what they do to get that Dopamine Fix with followers, likes, and other useless token gestures, as well as the rabid fanbases and echo-chambers that tend to spring up around them. She's more than an easily grasped symbol of those evils we face in the world, but an analogy to learn from. The show's writers have demonstrated that they are aware of problems within society and have incorporated it into this episode's plot!! On a meta level this is a social commentary wrapped in cellophane and baked in a Technicolor coating. it is delicious.

Also, kudos to the writers who managed to take the idea of an Instagram influencer and make them into a villain. It kind of makes her like a modern Poison Ivy.

Villainous is the like the phrase _"Every villain is the hero of his own story"_ in a form of a cartoon. Villain protagonists and anti-heroes are always come off as interesting than the traditional, classic heroes.
Villainy never knows itself, although I disagree, arguably most of the traditional and classic ones, be it villain or hero, always have an edgy and tragic origin that sometimes can really go stale.
The other way around, Miss Heed was created first and the people who worked in "Villainous" now work in "Helluva Boss", they might have taken inspiration in Heed to make Verosika because both are celebrities with emotional manipulation powers.
I find it ironic that people simp for her. She was made to be a reflection of how obsessed people are over streamer girls online and here we see actual people simping over a fictional character likely intended as a critique of what these people are doing

Theory: Miss Heed has not two identities, but rather two _personalities._
The first and dominant personality is Miss Heed herself, born of Cecilia’s obsession with Goldheart, but soothes her pain from her (assumed) inability to get the golden hero to notice her, by hypnotizing people to love her.
The second buried personality is actually her true personality, Cecilia, who genuinely loved Flug, but due to her inability to love herself, is basically the Anakin Skywalker to Miss Heed’s Darth Vader. However, she has enough influence over the Miss Heed personality that Heed not only gave priority to control over Flug but was willing to use actual affection to control Flug unlike all her other thralls.
They wrote a villain that's relateable with our social-media obsessed cultures. Not only does it address those issues of inability to love one's self, but the way people project that onto Social Media and what they do to get that Dopamine Fix with followers, likes, and other useless token gestures, as well as the rabid fanbases and echo-chambers that tend to spring up around them. She's more than an easily grasped symbol of those evils we face in the world, but an analogy to learn from. The show's writers have demonstrated that they are aware of problems within society and have incorporated it into this episode's plot!!
On a meta level this is a social commentary wrapped in cellophane and baked in a Technicolor coating.

You know, I wonder how they can use Miss Heed after this. If she gets out, is she going to try the same methods, or might she try something different, like trying to garner genuinely loyal followers somehow. For the latter, she'd probably have to work with someone off planet or at least non-human, considering she tried to brainwash the whole world with that perfume line.
Also, kudos to the writers who managed to take the idea of an Instagram influencer and make them into a villain. It kind of makes her like a modern Poison Ivy.
