- The last V8 AMG Estate ever! ;_; A sad sad day for all us #AMG fans today, as I’ve bought the last new E63 S with a V8, and as an estate - The New E63 S Final Edition. Just 999 units limited edition between sedan and estate, it’s a rare beast that will stand the test of time. Rumour has it that #MercedesAMG won’t have a V8 E63 going forward, and for the short term no E63 at all! :( An E53 will exist with the 4 Cylinder hybrid setup, and if we are lucky, a 6 cylinder E63 some time in the future.

I’ll of course show you all the details of the #E63 final edition, including the epic wheel finish, small details on the outside, and the amazing two tone carbon covered interior inside! I’ll also share all the changes and mods I made to the car, including some seriously epic small 2023 AMG mods you can do to your own AMG’s too - and we will of course start the car up to hear the 2023 E63 exhaust note!
I will also give a full garage update, including the fate of my SL55 which hasn’t been seen in half a year!

The protective plastic is like the first dollar on the very first sale of a commercial business, once it's gone, it's gone. The last blow was the tiny bit of gas left in the tank, especially on these type of car. Dang Mercedes, that was brutal
It’s a shame AMG are being forced to drop the iconic V8 from so many of their cars. At least the GT models will still get V8s, sad times though.

They weren’t forced, they could have dropped a V8 in the latest C63, but they CHOSE not to, because that’s old school and they wanted to bring in a bit of new school, cash in on their F1 success. I’m sort of for it and against it at the same time, still undecided on how I feel about it.
@@JohnSmith-me2wg the fact is, Mercedes have stated they want all EVs, AMG have no choice but to start phasing out V8s over the coming years.
@@verhu010 yes by Mercedes and the never ending European regulations. They have to get their fleet emissions down to comply with laws, one by one they’re axing the V8s, really sucks.

Lovely car Raz, good choice for family car with power👍I was wondering what happened to your SL 55 AMG. I’m planning to buy SL 55 AMG later this year. Still have my E53 AMG unfortunately it’s underpowered in my opinion.
Just received my 2023 AMG E53 Cabriolet, (last of its kind), and was considering the 2022 SL 55 AMG (first of its kind). Considering the price differential @ 55K, I chose the E53. Still need to brake it in, but so far I absolutely love it! For an I6 and a true 4-seater, it is already thrilling and will be enough power for me!

i understand you man, i was dreaming about GT53 and i thought that 400HP will be more than enough for me, but then i got a chance to drive E63s and i couldn't enjoy the GT53 anymore.

A brand new E63 never used on the road, and the dealership hand it over with an almost empty petrol tank, oh dear, what a fail on their part.
Even my VW got a 1/4 tank.

Congratulations 🎉! Would love to hear how you compare and contrast to the Taycan CT if you make that choice. I have an 18 E63s wagon and am doubtful that I’ll sell it anytime soon… just wish the seats were more comfortable.

@@1stockpunto866 unfortunately no…. But even the normal seats after 100 miles are pretty uncomfortable (if you’ve ever had back issues) and I can only imagine how worse the performance versions could be. My 997.2 TT MT and JL Rubicon have far more comfortable seats…. And I would assume the Taycan does too… but I still love the car.

Why did you go for this instead of the Audi RS6? Interested since I'm debating between the two at the moment and leaning toward the Audi.
Hate that merc wont give the uk certain options. No multi beams, the standard LED’s don’t look anywhere near as good imo. Also no HUD, AMG dynamic pack, massage and vented seats etc. whyyyy just give us the option.

well, it does, but chip shortage have made them non available for about a year now. I have driven a few facelifted with Multibeam.

My AMGs in Dallas look amazing all year round, hardly wash them. You collection is becoming a museum due to the rarity of the models. I face the same issue, I tend to drive my X3 or X5 and store the Amgs and M2s

I want one... I have a 2021 E53 wagon, and I love it but I want the v8 !! unfortunately in Canada the last version is very rare and hard to get... I did find a 2023 sedan and its $60,000 canadian more than the 2021 when it was new lol...

My first C63 was a Brabus from 2009. A magical car which I’ll never forget but had to sell due to Covid closing down my business. I’m not sad about the V8 being superseded by a 4 cylinder with electric boost. Sure I’ll miss the V8 sound but knowing AMG regardless of what is under the bonnet each generation gets more power, more torque, more tech, they just get better. I don’t see internal combustion being replaced by electric motors but the advancement of zero emissions fuel from ethanol rather than fossil fuels. Our waste can be used to produce fuel that ICE can run on. Electric cars are only green when they’re charged by renewable energy.
What happened to the a45?
Watching this channel made me want to buy a c63. They do not take any new orders for these so I was looking into buying a slightly used facelifted 2021> c63 and man I was not expecting these prices. Like a decently spec one starts at 95k euro. Is this increase caused by the not so well received new 63? Should I pull the trigger or wait a few months?

I have set it before and I will say it again, there is not where stated this is the Last E63 V8 from AMG or MB. There still a chance it may be in the next W214. Nice call all the same.
