Actually, I think the ban could work in his favour, because it lowers expectations and gives him a little bit of leeway if he has a run of bad results. Hopefully, that means that Lampard can treat next season as more of a transition season than a competitive one, and use it to gain experience without having his mistakes punished too harshly.

Yes.. Long season, injures ect. I feel this is hanging over his head, not the perfect way to start but I’d say he will sort it all out.
Actually, I think the ban could work in his favour, because it lowers expectations and gives him a little bit of leeway if he has a run of bad results.
Hopefully, that means that Lampard can treat next season as more of a transition season than a competitive one, and use it to gain experience without having his mistakes punished too harshly.
