Yes, both are great and Rosé dances well, but Lisa is the main dancer and the queen of dancing because she has a clean and precise standard and technique in dancing and has always proven herself. Lisa is very professional and amazing in dancing. And this is a fact that takes priority in all dances, like Rosé and Jisoo in singing and Jennie in rapping. !!! All of them have not won these nicknames for no reason! Actually all their dances are good, but Lisa's dance is always something else

Rosé is an excellent dancer. She is so powerful in singing as well as dancing. Hope Rosie show us her dancing skills more often.
There's a reason why Lisa is main dancer and Rosé lead dancer, both occupying the dance positions in the group. The way they dance just cathces your eye and their dance techniques are so well developed, even though they're different. jisoo and Jennie are Hella good performers but dancewise I like Rosé and Lisa a lot.

All four of them are great but I couldn't take my eyes off Rose in HYLT and Lisa in Shut down. They each owned the performances.

everybody was awesome, they were so good.. but tbh, if Rosé can prove to u thats shes the main vocalist she can also shows to u why she is the lead dancer.. u dont have to see her in front or in the middle for u to feel her energy and groove.. even shes at the back or at the sides u can still feel how she intensify her dance, and idk but she always slayyed every DP.

Before I knew anything about BP, How you like that came across my feed, and Rose was the one that I noticed straightway in the video. She goes hard.
All of the people who reacted to HOW YOU LIKE THAT DANCE PRACTICE also said that my girl roseanne (rosie) stands out a lot here check the comments on that specific video you guys are reacting and yall will see her name everywhere. She was literally no dancing background before when she 's a trainee but look at her now killing and nailing each move. This what happens when you commit yourself on something and it turns out she's also blessed on that category not just vocals but also in dancing.

rosé always slays the dancing tho she was the last one to join them as a trainee with no history of dancing but she bagged the lead dancer position like damn girl. shes so talented. hope so called blinks will appreciate her more for doing more than justice to her position
I love the fact that when they came together as a group, Rose was the only one who didn't know how to dance. The other three helped teach her how during her training, and, imo, she's only slightly second to Lisa. The difference is that Rose always gives 110% (not to say any are bad, but you can spot some moves pulled short in the other girls, including Lisa in HYLT at some times. If Rose does it, I don't see it).
BP choreo, to me, is so intense with their arms, shoulders, hips, but you will never hear anyone say "look at that foot work", lol. Their movements are always sharp and in unison and I know they can do harder choreo, but their choreo for their MVs doesn't seem as intense as for some other groups.
tbh being intense with arms is kinda a cover up if you cannot use your body well 😭 that is why they do not have harder choreos because there is a gap in skills and it would be obvious

@@ohnimevol-9480I really don’t think it has to do with that but more with stable performances and singing. Considering they are only 4 they sing a lot more individually then most groups meaning they can’t have harsh and intense choreographies or else they’ll be out of breath. Think about it, if divided equally (I know they don’t but this is only for my example) in a 3 minute song each members sings around 45-50 seconds. While if you keep that same logic with an 8 or 9 member group each member will sing 20-25 seconds which might not seem like a big gap but honestly is.
Considering the fact BlackPink is a group that very often give us LIVE performances I completely understand why they’d (company) would choose to decrease their choreography’s difficulty level and intensity.
This is obviously a personal opinion but I’d rather have a live performance than an intense choreography we’re they lip sync through it. You can’t be mad idols lipsync but want them to do backflips and intense stuff it’s just not humanely possible and plays (in my opinion) a huge part in the unrealistic standards people set on idols.
@@kenzie_845 I saw them in concert in Atlanta and I've seen and I loved it, but the lip syncing was really bad. They did song some but sometimes not. And I've been to a bunch of other groups, BTS, Monsta X, Ateez, Seventeen, Enhypen, TXT and Blackpink was the least performance wise to me compared to them. I still love them and their music. And I'm not saying that have to have amazing choreo on stage, but at least in their music videos something a little more and less predictable. Because honestly some of their moves are looking a little recycled from one video to the next.

And you should know that it is you solo stans who have unreasonable expectations and Blinks do not make any mistakes and they know very well that in rap the priority is Jennie then Lisa, and in vocals the priority is Rosé then Jisoo and in dance the priority is Lisa then Rosé!!! It is you who are selfish and you cannot accept the reality and you say what you like! The mistake is not from Blinks, but from you!
It is Lisa's right to be encouraged more at the dance and you selfish solo stans always ruin everything! Rosé absolutely killed Hylt and we have to be the ones to say it cause nobody else will! I prefer Rosé’s dancing anyway because she puts her own twist to it, adds more SPICE🤌🥰
I love them all and I just know that we haven’t even seen Lisa showcase her full potential as a dancer to this day. I know that girl can do so much and it all stays behind closed doors for reasons most of us already are aware of

yes they used to do way harder choreo when they were trainees, they could all do so much more with their dance if their company actually lets them. yg also never really lets the girls have other choreographers so they can never really show their full potential, I mean just look at the choreography Lisa and jennie does when they're by themselves. they're amazing dancers and as a dancer myself it makes me upset that we won't be able to see that

I fully agree about Rose sitting the best with not being too stiff, and sometimes it makes me not prefer over Lisa, but honestly, I know Lisa is a dancing goddess, but she is really meticulous and sometimes that can come off as stiff. I wish I could see her explore more loose dancing styles, I think it'd only up her game, which is already top level.
Real blinks would appreciate all of the members and not get mad when another blink try to praise the other members. Both rosé and lisa are amazing dancers no need to comapare.

to touch on what zen said, i think the difference between hylt and shut down is the timing! hylt came out years ago where as shut down came out the bottom half of last year (in kpop terms). shut down was also a response to everyone's constant beratement geared towards their disbandment given they had literally been a two year hiatus before shut down/pink venom released. in that time blackpink REALLY matured and they put their ABSOLUTE all in their comeback! their style is really kind of advanced cheerleader-y? simple moves or a lot of straight lines with the illusion of difficulty, or vice versa the illusion of easy to execute (take the pretty savage choreo for example, the head spin was sassy and looked simple yet people were literally passing out when they were covering it) but following their hiatus, they pretty much took their original style and concept, and made it for grown ass women and not baddie teens/young adults.

The way the YG dance videos work is they learned most of the choreo for the video clip which is shot over several days and out of sequence, then weeks later they rehearse the dance video in the morning and shoot several takes by the afternoon. A lot of the body stiffness comes from not being all that highly rehearsed, plus they have to be able to sing this live.
