Reason for needing 2 beams for the gate sometimes is that the gate is relying on the collision mesh of the structures. In ASA, the collision meshes are pixel perfect, which means if it's trying to place on the very tip of the beam, it's kind of random whether it will land on it or not. You can think of it like placing an object, perfectly centred on the edge of your desk, sometimes it will fall off, sometimes it will balance.
Awesome vid, love the energy you bring Kviden! Nice to finally see a method to add to existing base on pillars. Still a bit of a faff but worth it imo, cant beat a dedi box floor although SR-5RM8 struggles to access them. Ends up doing the Kylie "I'm spinning around".
It drives me nuts that the look of perfectly flush dedi storage to the floor is not actually perfectly flush for the charactor to walk on.. wild card making our building ocd peak with this.. 😂 great method for sure!! Great job!! much easier then running foundations away from your base to the nearest ground slope and using fence foundations on slope to get the perfect height to bring back to your base..
