wanted to understand. If 2 financial institutions want to send message to each other & they are using dr own platform (other than SWIFT) for clearing & settlement messages. If they use the Message ID submitted by SWIFT to ISO like pacs.008 then do they pay something to SWIFT to use Message ID or its free..

So you are asking, if banks have direct communication (bank-to-bank) and then they use ISO based messaging, should they pay SWIFT?
