I liked the opening mainly because of the visual style and music, although the scenes themselves are very much in the style of generic anime openings, there were some very random fanservices too, but normal for anime I think, overall I liked the opening, I'm anxious and hyped for the anime, and I still hope the story shows a yuri relationship that the first season didn't show as much (Please don't put a random man in the middle for no reason or pretend that what the girls have is just a friendship)
I haven't really watched anything since the first season was new so I'm hyped to get back into this series which I loved. The opening is nice however I personally like the first season's opening more. Don't get me wrong, I love ReoNa's voice (my favorite) but I feel that the song + OP scenes doesn't mesh as nicely (maybe just me). I do really like the intro; the scenes with Karen and Elsa at the beginning and the showcase of other teams. The random fanservice is not really my cup of tea, and I would have rather not have that in the intro, but I'm sure there are people that like that somewhere. Overall a really nice theme; I'm in love with the first half. Looking forward to seeing Season II of a beloved series of mine. Maybe I can use this for Japanese immersion too.
