This is without question one of the most enjoyable podcasts I’ve listened to in ages, the mutual respect between these guys is clear to see, I’ve waited 20 something years to listen to them saying it in public.
Great show & it was good hearing Chad’s view on the differences from their era. Also Chad talking about the never quit attitude that he had & obviously still has. True grit & why he was always a nemesis to the greats.

Man I never liked CR22. I always rooted for KDub or JS or RC or anyone but him. But now that they are all retired I'm happy to see them make peace and reminisce.
Reed was in the somewhat unfortunate position of being the Jeff Emig to both RC and JS. but yeah, he's really cool in retrospect. I also really like Emig now. 😆
Was the exact opposite. Loved Reed since he hit US soil. His technique and style was so smooth, like McGrath, and the fact he rode Yamaha was a plus. Also Loved KW back when he was riding Yamaha.
@@danegexactly, I like him now, but Chad was a third rate rider when racing those two. He never won a championship racing RC or JS for a whole season. Those two smoked him for the most part, especially outdoors.
@@matdogg28 RC was arguably the lesser SX rider of the three. But Reed could run with them and beat them on any given night. Third rate is a bit harsh. It's not like he's AP trying to hang with Jett and Chase. He could beat RC and JS any given night. edit: keeping in mind RC was older than Reed for the above. So RC wasn't always in his prime. He tended to win later in life with guile and smarts (still crazy fast outdoors).
This was one of the most enjoyable clips I have seen in a very long time, 2 of my 3 favorite riders to ever ride a dirtbike together and reminisce on the racing days was just awesome. Do this again with Carmichael. James, it would be epic.

I never liked Chad because he was an outsider trying to beat my guys Ricky and James. Over the years i grew to respect him for his never quit attitude and the sacrifices he and his wife made to be successful.

It’s the knowledge we all have access to now. I literally improved my riding over the course of 2 years than I have my entire life because of the level of exposure of training techniques and drills and safety precautions etc. it’s the new era. These kids have access to it in their primes!
Can’t believe I finally get to see them like this. They totally made me want my own including Ricky. Because of the 3 of them I never miss supercross ever. Thanks guys

Chad I met you for the first time in 2018 at Ironman MX. It was an amazing moment. Wasn’t able to get out there this year. Life happens. But it is amazing having you both on the show. Love what you guys have brought to the sport both during and post career. This truly is memorable.
