- On June 14th 2008, the All Blacks challenged England at Eden Park in a milestone night for Dan Carter, who surpassed 700 Test points and became New Zealand's highest scorer against England. A blistering 14-minute spell in the first half proved decisive, with the home team showcasing superior scrummaging and backline creativity. England's bright spark came from debutant winger Topsy Ojo who scored both his team's tries, but the visitors struggled to match New Zealand's defensive intensity and attacking flair throughout the match.

Dan Carter is the GOAT of rugby.
Greatest 10 ever to play the game.
"You were clearly not the tackler." The video: Richie is the tackler. It brings me back to the days of the tabloid rubbish that sold tabloid rubbish about rubbish.
Seeing Mils playing alongside Nonu just brings a smile to my face. They were part of a deadly *Black-Line* 🤭.
I wish you'd show the try in full BEFORE you switch to the slo mo, reverse angle. You often lose the context and the greatness of each try only showing it in the reverse angle.
@9:45 a kick so well planned, hope for the bounce, and it pays off!! Excellent stuff Kiwi's!!! Southern hemisphere Bok supporter behind the All Blacks!!
Sheesh, Nigel had a shocker here lol
I really hope we can see this level of all blacks again. Theyre still world class but have just dropped slightly in quality which just isnt good enough in todays game
Coaching and players learning curve and the fact we are rebuilding , they didn't do to bad this year , but that's the sign of a team on the rise and the fact that we are still 3rd in the world standings even with the rebuilding going on
The year where the best mid field started as ABs
McCaw was always well ahead of the Refs - Not one of Nigel's better games this one

Oh the good old days. Everyone in the crowd watching the game. Half the people these days have their heads down looking at their phones lol 😅
That all black coaching box is legendary
Sir graham henry
Wayne smith who i hold in very high regard
And of course the great steve shag hansen
Man, the lads were AGGRESSIVE !! Miss that style! Ardie has that same heart!
This ABs team got even better. We no longer have the quality that team had.
The glory days, our backline and forwards just seemed quicker or just more accurate maybe. It was a balanced team too. Need Wayne Smith involved in abs rugby again
I was wondering about that too now - watching the England game over the weekend, it felt like the ABs have lost some serious speed. Everything feels slower now. Also I noticed how the ABs was just completely over teams in this era. They used to swarm with kick off, every time the other team made a mistake or just touched the ball the ABs was over them and dominated them at the breakdown, rucks, mauls and everywhere else.
To be fair when he was fit and in form. No one could stop Carter back I've ever seen.
If only we could get back to the number 1 world ranking.
❤Way to go All Blacks ❤❤❤❤
❤Way to go All Blacks ❤❤❤❤go Richie
That was rugby glory days ❤
I'd say the glory days are now. The top teams are so close and skilled that there is not going to be any definite outcome pre-game.
@katrinabee9846 even so, watching rugby games these days are boring in comparison.
How good was Nonu’s distribution. One thing we’re lacking in our current midfield
❤❤❤❤❤❤👏👏👏👏👏👏All Blacks Carter
❤❤❤❤Carter whip it ❤❤
❤❤❤❤❤All Blacks🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤
I just thought war was declared between England and New Zealand.
No Answer? They scored 20 points!. I mean, we gave them a beating, but it wasn't 40-0!
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
But Ritchie was the tackler ref. 19:35 min
We miss Nigel what a ref😅
He got better, this wasn't one of his best refereeing performances
2014?
19:52 😭😄
Just a bit of a forward pass at 17:11 😅
backwards out of the hands
Even the best referee, Nigel Owens, is no match for Richie McCaw. 😮
15 won't go near a ruck if he's smart😅
nick evans thinks carters average.i think nick is
He was the form 10 in 07. Carter was carrying an injury for a good part of that season I remember an out of form for it. Should have played Nick he was all class that year
Clearly pissed him off too coz he went overseas following that. Carter the Goat 10 so calm down if ya going to reply
And he didn’t have the advantage of the English ability to play the rules, just look at the stats and you will see what I mean.
That reff needs glasses
ABs won in spite of a horrible performance by Owens.
England are experts at being offside at breakdowns. Referee's are experts at being selective. AB's beat unprecedented odds again.
What was up with that queer england kickers stance
Die all blacks gan trugkom wa os velori geraak het
Carter could make the 2024 all blacks
