  • In 2003 I was on a business trip to our factory in Dingzhou Hebei Province China. Over dinner with the boss and friends from the Wushu circle I mentioned that I plan to go to Handan after Dingzhou to visit Yang Chen Fu’s second son Yang Zhenji. Being Yang style Taiji exponents they were excited and suggested we all went together by car. In 2003 Handan was a two- and half-hour drive from Dingzhou. On arrival we were saddened to learn that Master Yang had suffered a stroke we visited him in his bedroom to give our greetings. His wife Chen Pei made tea and chatted with us and gave some pointers.
I went to visit again with a group of students in 2004 and was given 2 DVDS by Chen Pei she asked me to use for promotions of Yang Zhenji legacy, sadly Yang Zhenji died in 2007.

No one has a video of any of these guys fighting, but these keyboard warriors of today that a million ridiculous stories of how formidable a fighter all these Chinese martial artists were without any proof whatsoever.Today their students are still carrying on the tales of the fighting myth because none of them can fight worth a darned idea.

Apparently you have never felt the shock of a real Chi-Kung Master.

The boxer rebellion was the end of tai chi as a martial art .and there was no filmed fighting before then .absence of evidence .is not evidence of absence .
