Miss my c6z..wasnt anything like this but such a great car. I will get another and have it built with Fran and his guys. RPM is the best of the best imo
I’ve got a fully built LS7 (Callies crank, Ultra Rods, Diamond pistons), MSD, full exhaust, and a 113+3 NA cam in my C6 Z06. I’d love to bring it up to you guys for a blower cam and a blower setup.
Can i ask a question? We just bought a 08 base ls3 car. has a good bit done. It has the 15 inch coversion done to the rear. It currently has a 305/35/19 on it. How bad would it throw off the computer if we put a 15 on it and a 275 50 or 275 60? Still be fine to street drive if we had to or only track at that point?
Do you all recommend transmission and differential upgrades on a setup like this? I'm putting something similar together and shooting for 1000whp on E and curious if I'll need those. Of course i got that B3 cam!
im a noob to all this. question, so you engine swapped a z06?? is that what i saw at the start of the video? a new engine. why would you replace the engine on a z06
@@RaceProvenMotorsports like I said I’m a noob, I don’t know much about modifying engines. But what is the short block upgrade? To me it looked like you guys did an engine swap
The LT1S triple clutch can handle WOT pulls when new. They do not recommend slipping it. So no launching or shifting hard and fast till after 500 or so miles.
Engine do not need a “break in”. Anyone who tells you that is not a confident engine builder. You think my 2k hp race car engine needs “500 miles” to break in? The only thing that needs to happen on a new engine is the rings need to seat. Which generally happens within minutes of running.
They replace the titanium rods wirh a forged rod and piston so the rotating assembly is always heavier. I think they usually make 15-20 less NA on a stage 3/4 build if you watch their other videos.
@MrWisdom79 I see two different general setups. 1. You need a new long block due to a dropped valve and you just get a TSP427 and go NA, then add boost at a later date 2. You blown the engine and immediately decide to go boost with a lower compression piston or you rebuild a good engine for boost with rods and piston. But the thing is with the LS7, in my opinion, you're buying it to stay NA. Buying an LS7 with the intention of boost is silly because with the money your spending on top, just get a ZR1.
@carado1984 I agree. The gm ls7 is a piece of art imo that should stay na with hci if you want. Gm already makes a great base motor in the ls3 for boost or better yet like you said the ls9.
11:40 that’s exactly how I hear them too Fran

Besides the C6ZR1 this wld be another dream car
C7 zr1 n 06 too👉😀👏
Basically a zr1 at that point
@@feardc2050literally just a different hood at this point
10psi and 900 at the wheels. WOW
Nice flames 🔥 out the exhaust. I love it 😍
Man that thing is so sick
Chevy FTW👉👑
900+ on only 10psi is 🤬ing crazy
Ooooo been a minute since a Stage 5 C6Z
hopefully they change the wheels "respectfully" but great gains from RPM as always!
Some nice gains. That’s going to be fun to drive.
Thanks guys
😎😎😎👍👍👍
Another sick C6Z build guys, keep up the good work. 👍🏻
Hello, love the content been a fan for long time. Question, what is the brand of you'll 2 post lifts and capacity. I'm in the market.
Thanks
900bp at 3100#= 🔥👌✔️👍😀😀😀
What break-in procedure you guys do on a new clutch?
Is this keeping stock compression ratio or lowering it a touch?
Let’s go!
You guys ever do builds that run e85? Or does the whole fuel system setup to run it along with the 30%+ fuel consumption not worth it?
RPM, have you guys ran into any problems with the 6th gen 8 speed auto trans?
No and we do a ton of them
What up guys!!😎👊🏾🌱

When you say the engine was fucked up , did it have any piston slap ??
No bearing issue

TR6060 + Z/GS diff will handle 700 pound safe
How much to move up to a stage 5 from a RPM stage 3 ?
Depends how you want it. Best to email or call us.

how are you guys able to do full pulls on the dyno after putting in a new clutch? dosnt the clutch have to break in before seeing any WOT pulls
I asked monster when I had my stage 3 done, no break in required on that clutch
@@marklagasse2012 i wish my Vengeance clutch was like that. they recommend 1,000 miles of break in 😭
Don't worry about the motor break in 😂

these short blocks are they the same weight as stock .. what do the internals consist of ?

I would think they adjust for lower compressing too over a stock ls7 with the head setup

What exactly was wrong with his motor? I noticed it made a pretty low baseline for what it had.
Bearings were messed up

900whp on pump and meth? No E?
