I've thought the exact same thing. He doesn't pocket it and gives it back to the customer. Can completely understand as it is a form of theft and who would wanna steal a couple of dollars worth of change? But I think it'd be worthwhile saying at the very beginning "any change found will be donated to charity unless otherwise stated" and give the customer the chance of saying yay or nay. If the customer agrees, fabulous! If they decline and say they want it back then that's up to them.

Just wanted to say Thank you! I recently purchased a new car. Literally 3 days after having it, my sister spilled a full milkshake between the center console and passenger seat. I had been watching your videos for a while and confidently pulled the front seats out and cleaned the carpet. Thanks to you my sister is still alive and my car doesn't reek of rotten milk. 😁😁
Would love to see some of the things you usually don’t! Like cleaning the seatbelts and buckles. Do you do cabin filters? Also would love to hear the sound of the vacuum sucking up some of the trash. It’s so satisfying to hear!
So I'm not the only one thinking "does he clean the seatbelts?" I only ask because I remember I went to test drive a used car...The car was so clean but the seatbelts were dirty and crusty.
Best way to clean seatbelts is unbolt the bottom bolt and pull as far as you can out of the car and hit it with a pressure washer and extract. If it's not super soiled just some apc, steamer, and rags

I'm the same. I did my car very much like this a couple of months years ago with an extractor. Cleaned all the seats, roof living, car mats etc. It was amazing. My dad had to clean my car with the extractor a few months ago when my car developed a mould problem after sitting undriven for 8 months. Mould was on the seats, plastic, roof lining etc. I never had a chance to see it but it was pretty bad by the sounds of it. Would definitely have videoed it for you guys 😂 will have to try a steamer on it when I've recovered!
As a 16 year old I can confirm, this has motivated me to clean around my spaces more and just keep everything tidy. I have my own (interior) detailing products that I use constantly

My father is in the car business here in Ireland, and he says that the reason why wheel wells are mostly carpeted these days isn't to reduce road noise, but to prevent the paint from being chipped off, exposing the metal to rust

I actually work at a Kia dealership and this is the first time I've seen a Soul with this color. Kinda like it. We don't have this color on a Soul in NC. I do the Recon Internals. I will say Kia does a great job with the undershields. I also know the owners of Souls love their dirt. Not surprised by the dirt.
I cleaned my mothers Dodge Caravan this weekend. I can't stress enough how important having the right tools for the job is. I don't have a central or shop vac so I had to use a Hoover house vac with a very short hose and the hose extensions kept coming off. I don't have detail brushes so I ended up using a 2" (50mm) paint brush. I didn't use the two bucket wash method since the paint was already chipping and flaking off so I wasn't concerned about clear coat swirl damage. No waffle weave towels so no matter what window cleaning method I used there were still streaks. I DID use a pressure washer and that was the best part. Made cleaning so much easier and faster. Four hours later I returned the vehicle. She was excitedly happy. (I was saddened at the work quality.)
Kia seem to have upped their game in the last 10 years or so. Interesting to hear your comments on the quality of the build of the car. It came up beautifully. Actually although it was dirty, it wasn’t trashed like some cars that you do. Thoroughly enjoyed A Day In The Life, the latest one. Mike is going to have to start working out too if he wants to keep eating all the goodies😂

I’ll admit as an amateur car detailer I clean carpeted floor mats the exact same way, it’s much easier and more efficient than using the carpet extractor, although when I am done cleaning them I will use the extractor to just pull any excess water out👍🏼
