Thank You, I have followed your directions and all seemed OK. However the maps do not seem to download. Waited 15 minutes but the circle just keeps going round and round. After 15 minutes I went to themaps icon, top right of download page and this states no maps have downloaded. I have tried to press the download button but nothing happens, just the circle going round and round, Have you any thoughts??

Me personally have tried different instructions like this now the last 3 days and it just do not work. And for 4 days ago I got the drone back from DJI Service Repair. It seems to me that the remote just refuses to upload to this version. "Resourse data initializing" does not appear on my screen at the end there.. I do not know why.. Do you have any idea what this might be about? I am using a micro sd card and following DJI steps and yours.. I am LOST. Thank you so much for your time.
Did you try to refresh the firmware on rc…? If not do it with the Dji assistant 2.
And then do the My step again. I hope you will fix it.

I just received my phantom 4 pro plus back from DJI for a battery replacement, they upgraded the firmware for me but I haven’t any maps at all. Haven’t been able to fly it and it’s been a couple of years
Thanks! Works fine but everytime I turn off controller, it back to the older DJI GO older version. And the maps are blank again...Do you know why?

Hello thank you for all the help the app installed fine but its stuck on offline map download and will not install the maps.

For me Dji assistent 2 only show reset ALL system

If it is not paired. Try to pair with an other drone. And update me with the status. I promise u I’ll try my best to give you a solution
Try to update both devices firmwares. Rc and drone with Dji assistant 2 for phantom. Try this method it should work for you. Brother

I found the fix. It seems as DJI switched from MapBox To OpensStreet. Took me hours to track down the updated file/fix.
How can i fix it? Which is the right version of firmware and dji go?

Still can't get mine to work. Even spoke to DJI 'Support' and they said I should send the Controller to them

@@mrdrone1212 - Yep, done that a few times. In fact every time I do that, it actually makes it worse. After I update/reinstall the firmware, the Map button doesn’t work at all. I just hear the ‘click’ when I tap on it. But, it does nothing. Then, when I reinstall the DJI App, the Map Button works again. But, there’s nothing there and it’s back to a blank map again 🤷🏾♂️

Followed the steps and still not working
It’s worked for me brother. Some people complaining it’s not. But other says it works. I have no idea. But anyway try to use Dji assistant 2. To reset the exciting firmware and try it again. If not working try searching any other solution. If you find one please share with other. And peace ✌️
