Hi...I'm 68 and I've got a Pint-X and I love it. Just been going around the neighborhood. Yeah I tumbled a couple times, but I'm not sellin' it. The better you get on it the more fun it is!!!
I’m 56 ,absolute love riding Onewheel. Almost unexplainable freedom and joy while riding. I have the pint, pint x and GT. All are fantastic. Really appreciate the GT for myself weighing in at 6’ tall , 205 lbs. my wife rides Apollo Phantom scooter, the GT gives me good cruising speed and distance. Thanks for your video, I’m up in Edmonton Canada.
For sure my friend!! I know the feeling. Love my GT. My go to transport. The way I can control it. Truly an extension to my feet. Keep shredding it up my friend 🙌🏾
60 years old . Riding Modified GT TFL W rails, Lowboy footpads, Goat tire. I dress for the slide and cross train . 1100 miles 90% trails Love watching the evolution of the gear for instance I’ve been mountain biking and skiing since the 1980’s and the advances in gear over last 35 is crazy One wheeling is seeing the same movement. No one company can stop this fact. Happy shredding forever to all!
My grandpa is my inspiration. He died in February at 84 years old. The week he died he rode 150 miles on his road bicycle (outdoors like a savage) and skied two days of alpine skiing. You are never too old to get after it. Learning new things, using muscles in new ways and enjoying life have all been proven to reduce age related conditions and cognitive decline. I don’t send it quite as hard as I did at 21, now that I am 37 but I still get out there. Edit: I would buy both, a pint x and a float wheel ha. My kids ride with me on the pint and I ride my floatwheel.
That is inspiring. That’s instilled in you. 84 years old. How can we complain about anything when our predecessors are so tough. Great stuff my friend 🙌🏾
I’m turning 43 tomorrow and I’ve been riding almost every day since we pick up a Pint 6 months ago. Quickly picked up second one and me and my 11 year old ride trails all the time. I really can’t stop thinking about floating! It brings so much joy, even after fracturing a finger while testing out our second Pint. I’m itching to upgrade to the bigger boys as soon as I’ve got the cash. The risk is worth the joy it brings me and being able to ride with my kids.
Happy birthday Youngster!! I’ve been 43 for 4 months now 🤣 I’m in the market not to grab a pint x of a should say once I get a little money to blow. I’m definitely itching for it. I always go alone. Took take my son or my wife would be awesome. The day is coming. I hope your having a great birthday my friend 🤙🏾 keep floating my dude 🏄🏾♂️
Peace King!!! This was really thoughtful clip. I'm 51 years old and I try to ride my GT as much as possible. I absolutely love it. I've fallen a few times, especially in the beginning, but that hasn't stopped me. The only thing that keeps me from riding everyday is work and the daily grind of picking up and dropping of my kids at their various after-school activities. Even, then I'll try to sneak in a ride if I have to wait longer than 30 minutes. I don't think there's a age limit on riding Onewheel, just get out there!
Couldn’t have said it better myself. So many people on the fence don’t know what they’re missing. Once you catch that float state the Onewheel is going everywhere with you. Keep floating and stay safe my friend!!
I forgot to mention, maybe pick up a Pint X for your other family members. My 11 year old daughter rides my old Pint when we go out together. My wife learned to ride and had a great time on it, until she fell... She hasn't been back on it since then.@@therealbergexperience5640
I'm 75 had a XR for 2 years and put 7,000 miles on it. Got my GT 10 months ago and have 3,000 miles on it. Ride everyday usual about 10 + miles. I had a hard time learning. Spent a lot on time on a tennis court where I had a fence at my back. I started using hiking treking poles to keep my low speed balance. Bicycles are almost impossible to balance when stopped because the wheels work like gyroscopes to keep the balance. The one wheel will act that way too. A tire that has a flat profile at the bottom will be more stable. Increasing the tire pressure will make the tire more curved. You may want to try a lower tire pressure. Foot position makes a big difference. I like my big toe just at or over the edge of the foot pad. I place my front foot near the front of the board rather then close to the tire. Learning to stop is difficult. You are almost standing on a tight rope. Ride up to an object that you can put a hand on if you need it. I love getting out everyday and carving to the tunes on my blue tooth speaker. If you can stay determined you can do it. Always wear safety gear.
75 years young. I think a lot like you. Thank you for your insight. 1 day I’ll make a video for beginners and your tennis court idea is perfect. I play with the tire pressure often. I used to hat 20 psi but now I’m loving it for speed. Foot placement is key. Posture too. Once you learn to carve life is great. Loving the float. Keep it goin my friend. Stay safe 🏄🏾♂️
I sure hope I can keep riding, it’s so important to my life now, orthopedic wrist guards meant for arthritis and modified for falling have been a god send for me, that and pads on my hips!
Hey man, great video! I'm 47 with two young kids and everything you say here is absolutely true! I was thinking about getting a Onewheel for a couple of years and I finally bought a Pint X about 3 months ago. I love it! Its awesome to go around and explore. I'm up here in the Chicago area and I even ride it in the city. Maybe one day I'll end up getting a GT, if I can afford it. Thanks for the video and take care!
Jah buds, 52 and been floating for 3 years now...building my own trails in my hood and road trippin to the desert each winter, Float til I can't Float no mo👊
Man you hit 1 there. Waiting for the perfect moment to trip n float 🏄🏾♂️ become 1 with the board 🤣 the day is coming. Maybe I’ll make a video. Keep floating my friend 🙌🏾
I'm 62 with around 1100 miles on my GT. Started with a used OG Pint that I outgrew at around 600 miles. I taught myself how to windsurf and snowboard back in the 1980's so I knew I could do this. I fell down a few times, enough to see the importance of safety gear, but ain't broke nothing so far. I love the carve so I only ride asphalt, grass, and low tide at the beach. The awesome Digital Shaping update has renewed my love of floating. Since you already have the flagship, I'd suggest the Pint X. Different size, different experience. Great video, ride safe and thanks.
Great video! Every word you have said has described my personal Onewheel experience perfectly. I put 4000 km on my XR before I upgraded to my GT. When the weather is good and I have to go anywhere, my GT gets me there and I have so much fun doing it. I'm 52 years old and I'm gonna float 'till the day I die! Float on my friends, love to you all.
I'm 57 and had my first serious nose dive already. Lucky I was wearing a helmet, elbow and wrist protection. I want a floatwheel because of my almost 100kg weight, more power needed.😅
Glad to here you we’re geared up. Makes things a lot less painful for sure. I’ve had a few. 2 without and they hurt like hell 🤣 still go for the occasional gearless float. My interest was kinda peaked on floatwheel but I don’t know enough about em. Im leaning pint x.
I'm 55 and put 10,000 miles on my Pint X in just over a year and a half. My worst injury so far, and hopefully ever, is a broken thumb when a dog came up from behind and scared the crap out of me, causing me to lose my balance and smack my hand on the edge of a rock wall on the way down. That was after having ridden over 3,000 miles, and always wearing at least a helmet and wrist guards. Keep rolling!
Glad to hear it was only a thumb even though they suck too. I’ve broken some fingers pretty nasty. Always break my bones back myself right away before the pain sets in and I’m still in shock. I’ve done it many times. Real cave man 🤣 I just never want to wait til I get to the hospital looking at it crooked only to have them break it again. Anyway good stuff. 10,000 miles makes you a beast. I haven’t hit the thousand mark yet and feel pretty good. 10,000 mile 😵 you’ve been at it. Kind if an odd question. What kind of dog was it if you don’t mind me asking ?🤷🏾♂️🤣
@@wheeltimewithlou next time fight the dog 🤣 nah. What can you do. Shit happens. What do you do though. Now I’m think. Try to out float it. Jump off fight get bit. Have to jump off and climb a damn tree 🤣
@@therealbergexperience5640 man, I have replayed it back in my head so many times, but it happened so fast, I had no time to react with my age and dexterity. But it does make you ponder if the outcome had been different with different choices. Thanks for the interaction, Sir!
Badda$$ Video! I love meeting onewheeler riders everywhere. You are never to old get out there and cruz. I keep those pads and helmet on cause those asphalt burns hurt and i love my brain more than my hair. Wait for that 2nd version of that floatwheel. Keep on keepin on!
I'm 57 took it up at 54, never too old with the right mindset. Get a pint they are great fun especially for quick little trips. I have a pint & XR both with extended batteries
So the pint huh? I haven’t really considered. How much is the the battery? I’m thinking the price if the pint with the battery it can’t be much more for a used pint x.
Im also 43 and after watching loads of videos on TH-cam finally bought one. I’m very carefully trying it out a little practice at a time. Literally just practicing standing and balancing on it and jumping off and coming to a stop in my apartment or on a section of street nearby. Going to take it out to my friend’s house in the burbs tomorrow. Glad I’ve found videos like yours that aren’t just 20 somethings in Cali haha.
I got a OneWheel GT (used in trade) the other day and it was only a few minutes before I started cruising my sidewalk/streets nearby. Coming from a background of skateboarding/snowboarding and riding BMX/Dirtbikes. I feel my confidence (or stupidity lol) is higher going into it than I previously thought after getting on. But once you get going, its a blast! Even thought about it after I was done and wanting to go ride more. To anyone who is on the fence about it, due to age/cost or whatever, really break it down and and ask yourself, "what does freedom/expressability and enjoyment cost?", if all check the box, get one either used or new and start a new chapter in your life and enjoy your newfounded hobby/freedom.
That’s what I would suggest to anyone right now. You can get a great deal on a GT and you will absolutely fall in love with love the board. It’s a sweet ride. I’m on it everyday and it’s truly life changing. Glad you got 1 my friend. Float on and Stay safe 🏄🏾♂️
I am 35 and got a onewheel a couple months ago. Tore up my elbow day 2 of owning it lol. Funny I ran across this channel though. I vacationed in Key west a month ago and rode my onewheel 50+ miles during the week. Cool place
Most definitely. Next time you have to go up the keys. It’s nicer in my opinion. Paved trails. Bridges. No cars to worry about except a couple miles. Let me know if you come back down. I’ll show show you
49 here and only thing I wish is that I would of discovered onewheel sooner! Sometimes I do have to remind myself I'm not 19, lol! Love street and trail, have two boards(pint-S & xrc)and a little over 500miles total experience. Still a newbie myself but it seems the biggest mistakes people make is exceeding the boards torque limits by speed chasing and body positioning. Many lean too far forward when they should be bending the knees, keep the body centered over the tire as much as possible and let the lower body manipulate the board. Hope that makes sense and helps someone. Great channel and great to see I'm not the only "old guy" in the comments.
I'm 43 as well. Bought my first Onewheel and it will be here Friday! I went with the Pint X. The crimped wires thing is resolved now, you think? Guess it's a good thing I found your video!
I’m not sure if the crimped wire issue was resolved. Your best bet is to join the facebook group and research it in there. It should be fixed I’d imagine by now. If not it’s not too hard too do. I did mine. Hardest thing is getting the right tools. Enjoy it my friend. Definitely gear up in the beginning. Stay safe!!
Im from I💝NY and Lived in Miami Beach 😃 I am in Cali now! I injured myself with a dislocated shoulder riding. I was out for a month, but cant stop using my rides GT and Pint. I plan my rides, follow the plan. Helmet, gloves, 10psi, Sunlight light for me, light clothing, and a mindset to be prepared for anything.
For real. I’m trying to figure how to make a video running 1 out with out getting hurt 🤣 but I ride prepared to jump off, run, and roll. Keep floating and stay safe my friend 🙌🏾
I've had a Pint-X for almost 2 years now and considering getting my second board and stuck between either a GT or Floatwheel. I very very briefly hopped on a GT someone let me try and honestly in that very short experience, didn't like it compared to the Pint-X I've gotten used to. The Pint-X is just so nimble and eager to turn in. So if you're wanting something that's more maneuverable and just eager to carve and turn, and maybe an easier board in city/confined areas, and possibly a better trick board, than I'd say the Pint-X. If you're more about longer rides, faster speeds and cruising then probably the Floatwheel. I would personally go 100% the Floatwheel myself rather than the GT if it weren't for concerns of support/aftermarket with the Floatwheel. But with the GT it's hard for me to want to continue to support Future Motion with many of their anti-consumer actions/behaviors.
Hey man I’d love to see you talk about cameras. I’ve been using GoPro a lot but been thinking about getting some kind of professional camera. I’d love to see you talk about cameras!
Ask and you she’ll receive my friend 🙌🏾 I’ll put out a camera vid next week. Probably start with the 360 since that’s what I use for Onewheel. I could talk cameras all day 😎 I gotchu 💯
57yrs old, put 1500 mi. On a V1, riding a pint x now. The enduro tire on the pint x has made a world of difference. Tire is much more stable kinda gives it the bigger board feel , still with all the nimbleness you could ever need
There’s nothing like getting on the onewheel and just cruising around the neighborhood, cruising around the beach. my Habit now is to go to the gym, get a good workout , then go floating for an hour or so
I got my 7 year old daughter a Pint X and I’ve upgraded a few things and I enjoy riding it now. It’s punchy and fun and extremely nimble. Riding it makes me more nimble on my GT.
🤣 I love how you say you enjoy it now 🤣 Cuz ima be riding that bad boy too 🤣 pretty sure I’m going ping x. Did you have to mess with that battery wires?
Perfect 🙌🏾 Let me know what you think when you get it. Does the Floatwheel hold up to the GT quality wise? What’s the process of buying 1? I’m hearing crypto and a month to 2 wait.
@@therealbergexperience5640 first edition has experienced some problems. The biggest being the plastic that was used breaks really easily. The problem has been solved, and Tony has shipped out new plastics to all those that received the old ones. He has also worked out a more powerful version of his vesc and new bms where we can monitor individual cells which will be available on the V2 and available to V1 owners at a discounted price. As for purchasing one, you are correct as you can only use crypto which I was already familiar with so it was really easy. Once you order your ADV they will start to make it and within 45 days you will receive an email saying your board is ready for shipping once they receive full payment. You then use the supplied link to transfer your crypto. Once shipped you are then looking at another 6-8 weeks depending on where you are. Hope that helps. I’ll definitely let you know how it rides compared to me GT. I have WTF Lo Riders, Enduro and Stone Cold Chillers(heat sink for the motor) on my board so it should be very close to yours in terms of ride/feel
Never too old, in fact, start riding the one wheel to feel younger/ get him the Pint X my son learned on the pint and loved it. Good video let’s get it.
Yessir. Little Jeff is an absolute beast. I saw him rip that track a was like there goes the future. Of course he gets it from Pops 💯 I’m pretty much locked in that pint x. Seems the best option. Gonna be a fun back up. Keep shredding my Dude 🏄🏾♂️
Like your videos, good job. Keep them coming. I just order a GT and can’t wait to get on it. I’m 51 and also mountain bike. Just recover from a cracked rib after going over my handlebars and a steep, rocky section. So now I’m thinking about body armor for both sports. I saw you wearing some in some of the clips. What do you use? Looked pretty lightweight and comfortable.
I am 63 years old. Have a pint X modify WTFXRO and regular XR with threaded tire and just got the GT get rid of the paint X once you’ve ridden an XR hard to go back but great for the kids keep them on the grass as long as you keep it under 15 miles an hour they’re pretty safe I like to ride 18 to 20 which is why I love the GT so happy X ours stay in the woods or use the GT on the streets
The older you are the longer and harder it is to recover from the falls! You will fall and it will hurt. Be careful and ride smart and slower can help so it does hurt too bad.
I fell quite a few times last week. I’m quite lucky to not have ate it. I did tweak my knee and bang my heal but they were minor compared to when I splat on the ground. I know for sure you have to at least run out a few steps and spread the impact by rolling. Not that I’m trying to make it habit.
I'm 42, 4,000 miles and still shredding it super hard. Street and trails, consistently getting top speeds of 20.5. But, I always wear a helmet and wrist guards minimum.
Good stuff! I stay around 19 cuz of the beep. You turn the beep off or just ride through it? I know that extra mile and half feels good. 4000 miles you definitely got some experience.
Wow, I'm the same age as you and I live in NYC, where you came from. Also got a shoulder injury from falling off my Onewheel, but mine is a Pint, not a GT. If you're getting another board, maybe consider going for the Pint and getting a Chi Battery so it has even more range than a pint x since you're considering fixing the Pint X crimp wire issue? You do have to downgrade the firmware, but you get custom shaping on the pint as Pint doesn't have that. Floatwheel is cool, but it is probably too heavy for you son or your wife to lug around.
Turning 44 next week. Started riding 2 years ago (first board sport in my life) and was addicted from day one. Got the whole fam riding now (GT, XR, and 2x Pints) Go with a pint for your son/wife. My kids 9 and 12 and wife all prefer the smaller/lighter profile.
Nice, thanks for the clip and continue the good work 😊 I was wondering the same about a second board, I'd choose pint/pint x; floatwheel would redundant whith the GT while a lighter board can be useful in some situations like hybrid comutes; having to carry the board in a train or a bus. (To be reconsidered would floatwheel release a lighter board)
Thank you my friend. Yup. That’s the way I’m leaning. Pint x feels like a lock. Best smaller board. It would be convenient that’s for sure. Float on my friend 🏄🏾♂️
I would love to explore key west on my Onewheel. I’ve never been there. But I’m a barber and I ride to work every single day. Up in Marion Ohio lol. My buddies I ride with are over in Mansfield and ashland Ohio. I know they do th Miami ride in February every year. I’m hoping to make that journey this next year! I think the float wheel would be my next buy because vesc is where I think the whole movement is going. That’s what most of my buddies ride amd they do tear up the trails compared to my gt. But I do love my gt. Take car bro.
Yessir. Will do. Everyone from Ohio comes here ends up moving 🤣 Pudding Bay for Summer Key West for winter 🏄🏾♂️ So Floatlife Fest is in February? Gonna have to hit that up next year. I don’t know enough about Floatwheel. Never seen 1.
@@therealbergexperience5640 floatlife fest is actually this week in North Carolina. I’m not sure what the gathering in Miami is called. I’ll look it up. The Miami think is on February

I'm 52 and just learned a few months ago on a friend's onewheel then I bought my own. Took about a week. Was interesting to see how I learned and how easy it became. But I'm am still very cautious.
Your lucky to have a friend to let you use their board. I don’t think I could do it 😂 that’s my baby. Even though she scratched up a little. I put them scratches 🤣 I shouldn’t be like that. The more you ride the better you get the more you enjoy. Definitely have to be careful.
Is there a OneWheel community in KW? I’m in Islamorada and the only ones I see up here are going to and from the Elementary school! I have a PintX that’s currently missing after I ground shipped it from NY back home while on vacation. I’m thinking of replacing it with a FloatWheel and would love to find somewhere down here that folks get together and ride!
There is a small Onewheel group here. I actually haven’t rode with them yet. I wouldn’t mind exploring up that way. I work in ocean reef every now then. Come to think of it your closer to Miami. You never think about hitting South Beach? How hard is shipping. Missing? I have to work in New Orleans next month and wanted to ship but if yours is missing. I’m thinking different.
@@therealbergexperience5640 Shipped it to upstate NY via USPS in a generic box, cost was $100, no problems. Shipped it back same way and they “lost it”. I put an AirTag in it, so I know where it is - or where it was, the AirTag eventually died - but it’s last spot was in an Atlanta warehouse “where undeliverable packages go to die” according to the Islamorada postmaster. I filed all the paperwork for a missing package and told them where it was, but it’s been two months and no response. They won’t let the public go to the warehouse either. Oh, and no insurance. Lots of lessons learned here. Ship UPS, not USPS - put your return information INSIDE the box in case the outside label gets damaged - use a fresh AirTag - get the insurance! All that aside, I’d be more than happy to ride with you anywhere down/up here once I either get my Pint back or get a new FloatWheel!
For sure. I have a lot of older guys (60-70) on my channel that convinced me to keep the Onewheel and since then I’ve falling in love with it. Just gear up and the beginning and take it easy. Once you get it you’ll love it. Depending on your weight you should probably get a GT though many people like the pint x.
I’m lovin my “S”.. Got it a few weeks ago and put miles in,but definitely need to build more leg muscles. Curb bumps are currently my nemesis, for this week anyway😂 The "shakes" suck, but also tell you that you’re still breathing👍🏼 I set the limit at 12mph and got used to the buzz/feedback and then pushed up to 18mph-same thing as before, but now I’m used to 18 and set it to 25..I’ve not tried to hit that as the shakes start and the higher speeds… Well, let’s say I’m not looking to be smear on the road.. Oh yeah-I’m 58 Keep ‘em floating🍻
You just gotta keep going a little further as you can. Carving helps. A little lower psi on the tire. Maybe 14. 4 mm grip tape to keep you locked. Those little upgrades help.
I'm 60 years old bought a brand new GT and got 2,500 miles on it already. Big trick get rid of the stock tire because it's a rock then you'll be able to ride buttery-smooth. Wear your safety gear and have fun!
Get a Floatwheel man. Right to repair. Also more power means its more able to keep you balanced, which is important when you consider those nosedive situations which would not be an ossue on the FW
There’s a few things pushing me away. Main 1 is price I can’t get a used pint x and fix the wires for half the price. Waiting list. Cheap plastic. I also don’t know much about the Floatwheel. More videos are coming out so maybe after i watch a few.
Most definitely my pleasure my friend. I know how you feel. We all been there with the shakey leg but once you get past it it’s a wrap. You’ll be hooked. Keep wearing the gear and stay safe 🏄🏾♂️

One wheel is sueing everyone... and you can't work on them yourself without voiding the warranty... garbage company but Floatwheel is amazing 👏 and you can customize it with 3rd party parts all you want work on it yourself really make it perfect for you*
I have heard a lot bad about FM but I’ve been dealing with companies like that forever. That’s why I’m not really loyal to em. Let the best 1 win 🤣 the comments are pushing the Floatwheel. Would make a great video 🤔 I can justify that 😭😂
That is definitely the smartest option but I want something different. N since it’s for my 9 year old I don’t think he needs that much power. We’ll see though. Still undecided 🤷🏾♂️

Good stuff! My wife bought me a PintX for my 50th birthday - been shredding on it daily! Never too old to do things you love!!
Happy birthday my friend! How you liking the pint x?
I got my GT two days ago about to hit 61 years old. I'm having so much fun.
It’s a beautiful machine. You get her used or brand new?
I bought her new.
@@therealbergexperience5640 Hells yeah, been raining for weeks in AK, dreaming of the desert. Likewise, float on my friend !
Ouch! It was a medium sized retriever mix.
@@therealbergexperience5640 I think the chi systems quart battery is about £400
43 here 600 miles... GT has changed my life! Haven't had to drive my truck to work all summer saved a ton of $$ on gas!

It’s crazy huh. Car just collects dust 🤣 unless I need a bunch camera gear I’m wheeling it. Barely see the gas station these day. Gotta love it 😀
@@therealbergexperience5640 leave mine in the garage and needs washing less even lol. Floatlife ~~ =o=
Great advice and insight. Thanks my dood. I’m 52 and just started on my XR Classic, it’s been cluncky but I’m getting there👌
I am 35 and got a onewheel a couple months ago.
Hey I appreciate you man it’s just enjoyable and informing to watch your stuff@@therealbergexperience5640
57yrs old, put 1500 mi. On a V1, riding a pint x now. The enduro tire on the pint x has made a world of difference. Tire is much more stable kinda gives it the bigger board feel , still with all the nimbleness you could ever need
I had to ride a pint x for a couple days. My GT was down but now it’s back up. Have you tried a gt?
59, two GT's, out on them every week, 1500 miles so far.
Had some bad spills and got bashed up but just get back on, they are brilliant.
There’s nothing like getting on the onewheel and just cruising around the neighborhood, cruising around the beach. my Habit now is to go to the gym, get a good workout , then go floating for an hour or so
61 and got my 1st OneWheel. Love it
Yessir. Feeling like a kid again I bet!!
47. Started off of an XR+ then got a GT and modified it. I’m also waiting on the arrival of my FloatWheel ADV Pro. Should be this this week 🤞
Apparently FM has fixed the Pint X battery crimping issue from the factory, so you should be sweet to get one.
Good to know! That’s definitely the 1 I’m eyeing. Thank you my friend!!
Never too old, in fact, start riding the one wheel to feel younger/ get him the Pint X my son learned on the pint and loved it. Good video let’s get it.

Awesome!
Great video fam! I am 47 i just got my Pint 3 days ago and im loving it!
Thanks broski!! The Onewheel is a fun device. Changed my life in many ways. I ride it everyday!! You gonna love it!!
I’m 41 and floating! Rode in 29 states so far
Keep it coming bro! Loving your content!
Most certainly Thank you my friend. Will do.
I turned the beep off the day I got it. Can’t deal with that stuff. Once you learn what pushback feels like, it’s all you need.
Floatwheel!!!! I’m thinking of getting one as well.
Floatwheel huh? Time to really go down that rabbit hole and find out what they’re about.
Nice, thanks for the clip and continue the good work 😊
I was wondering the same about a second board, I'd choose pint/pint x; floatwheel would redundant whith the GT while a lighter board can be useful in some situations like hybrid comutes; having to carry the board in a train or a bus.

Ok I am 55, I mountain bike, ride motorcycles, so I am active, question should I get the gt for my first one wheel?
For sure. I have a lot of older guys (60-70) on my channel that convinced me to keep the Onewheel and since then I’ve falling in love with it. Just gear up and the beginning and take it easy. Once you get it you’ll love it. Depending on your weight you should probably get a GT though many people like the pint x.
