Of course the doctors that charge 20k in the US are not gonna say anything good about the doctors in Turkey that charge 3k...
Same sentiments
Seems that doctor was jealous
Actually as a local you get it for around half of that and in a decent place. The price you mention as 3k also contains hotel and flight as well
😂🎉🎉🎉
Spot on
The real problem is that the price of medical care in the US is a scam.
I realized that when I went to Tijuana after purchasing my medication at the 10th of the price. I went to a restroom across the street from the pharmacy and I realized, the American Health Care System is a scam.
@@jaimerodriguez1550You see the same affordable prices in the EU. The problem in the US is that there's not a higher power (i.e. the government) negotiating the prices down. That's why big pharma in the US can raise the prices however they see fit forming oligopolies (they only call it a price cartel after they've been sentenced by a court, but not with the corrupt US justice system). Just look at insulin: 90 % of all insulin comes from 3 companies (Eli Lilly, Sanofi, and Novo Nordisk) and insulin prices have gone up 10 times from 96 to 2016, even though the patents have long expired. Additionally, the entire health care industry is run by the insurance companies, which is why something can cost 6000 USD to someone without insurance and 100 USD to someone with one. The entire system is corrupted through and through.
It really makes you wonder whe American companies sell their drugs to non Americans for a small fraction of the price. Americans are literally subsidizing foreigners Healthcare at our expense.
That with the average price of medical school, and the audacity to keep saying things like theres a doctor shortage well it shouldn't cost 200-300k to become a doctor its a shame
Exactly that
It’s not risky in turkey, the doctors in the USA just want you to spend 5x more in the states 🙄
Exactly. Look at the dental work too. This isn't 1990, america is no longer the 'standard'
@@nocapnobs7845 💯
Yeah there was a video similar to this one about dental tourism. A lot of Americans go over to Mexico to get dental work.
It's 20k in Mexico for full mouth reconstruction vs 70k here in the US.
Everything here is overpriced.
Everything is more expensive here including education- bachelor’s 4 years , than medical school, another 4 years and an extra training to become a plastic surgeon 2-4 years , at the end its around $ 360,000. After that you pay rent, pay salary to your employees , supplies, medications and $$$ to anesthesiologist. Blame the system!

My son flew to turkey from Texas . He his transplant for $ 2500 . He was there for 5 days and returned home. Everything went well.
I also flew from Texas. Got 2 procedures done at 24 and 25, about to be 26. Went from all bald to nearing a full head of hair! It’s a great option for men of any age!
@@HookahDoncic98 My son is deeply depressed about his hair loss which started when he was about 18. He's 21 now. Should he wait a few more years? Please advise.
@@LR-mh8hs it all depends on how far gone his hair is, but yes I would advise him to wait a few years. I did my procedures when I had essentially lost all my hair on top and the crown, making me a norwood 6. Technically there isn’t a certain age, but more so at the discretion of clinics he would reach out to for consultations. Keep in mind hair transplants are more of a mentally challenging thing, I would say the hardest part is waiting for it to grow in. As long as he’s aware of all of this and done his research, then he can ultimately make his decision

Lol sorry but your statement is so profoundly ignorant. I come from a family of doctors with clinical experience in both the US and Eastern Europe, and the healthcare guidelines, procedures and facilities are of far higher quality in the US vs the east.
@@tu55Daniel18-ey8tt nope. maybe 10-15 years ago you would be correct, but the east has caught up by now and standards are relatively the same.
My dad went out there for 10 days. $125 a day all inclusive hotel, flew Turkish airlines (no complaints), did his procedure for $1800 and they gave him a 6 month kit! All worked out. He’s satisfied with his results and looks 20 years younger. The health insurance and care in the US is a scam. I know family members who went to Turkey and Mexico to do oral care for a dirt price and all worked out. Listen, if you got the money, know a connect, do it. These healthcare folks here in the US who talk bad about the idea is preventing you from making a change because they’re gonna “lose” money on their end and it’s not good for business. During this time where America is bleeding heavily on inflation, you gotta approach different avenues. Let’s have an honest conversation here.
"bleeding heavily on inflation"?
💯
'bleeding heavily on inflation'.........really? 3.2% is heavily? Was inflation not to be expected in light of the first global pandemic in 100 years?
@@stevenbaer9061 I'm not even convinced its inflation that is the problem. Its clearly price gouging. I've seen some products here in australia go up 30% or more in the last couple of years.

It's the same thing with the dentist or surgeons tbh.
Here in Poland people from Germany or France keep flooding to the best dentists, sux they pay fourth of what they would back home. With slight to no difference in quality.
Isn’t it about accountability also? I heard you can sue for malpractice in US , compared to other countries.
@@baritosV2 It may be this.
The other problem with US healtcare is insurance. These companies get ridiculous in how they don;t want to pay.
I take reports like this with a grain of salt. It seems like American doctors in panic mode that their patients are going overseas and costing them business.
I work in healthcare I have seen pts come from both France and Germany to see drs. in the US. When I asked why they both said the physicians there are not as good. The person from France told me his dr. left during the visit to go have a smoke.

Yo I just got back from Istanbul a few weeks ago, and noticed the same thing at the airport, a handful of dudes with their heads shaved. On my return flight a guy who had the procedure done sat next to me and told me everything about it, now Im seeing this on my youtube feed lol
This is why I plan to get my procedure done during the wintertime, so I can wear a hat to hide the scars, and no one will notice. I don't have that much hair loss so my procedure shouldn't be too bad at all.
Plot twist, Rajab also had his hair transplant done and was on his way back. :) All jokes aside, this doctor did a great job.

Yeah, let’s ask a US hair transplant doctor what he thinks about people going to Turkey instead of paying him thousands of dollars more. How biased could he be 😏
I love how happy with the end result. Key note: do what makes you happy here on earth.
I went to Istanbul a little over 4 years ago and got a life changing hair transplant. Then I went back two years later and did a second one to finish up around the crown of the head. The results are 10/10. Meanwhile my friend opted to stay in the US and do his there - he spent more than 5 times as much as me and now needs corrective surgery. He was very demoralized at the shoddy results and scarring. The technology and level of experience pales in comparison to the cosmetic industry in Turkey especially when it comes to hair transplantation. I went from a Norwood VI to now having a full head of voluminous hair thanks to Dr. Çinik. Perfect hairline. Results are so good, it’s Impossible to recognize that I had one. Forever grateful.
Could you please provide some info about your booking/clinic expenses? Thank you!
@@meengla each transplant was around $2,900 with an initial deposit of around $200 if I remember correctly. Luxury hotel was included with daily shuttle to the clinic and airport on arrival and departure.
@@Youve_GotABeard Thank you sir. I will first see what some local dr in America could do--my wild guess is I wouldn't need but 1000-2000 transplants to cover the two thinning sides of my forehead; the forehead does have a thick central strip and the sides are really really thick hair, which I use to comb-over. I can live with the greatly thinned out crowd. Thanks again.
@@meengla just to clarify… what you mean when you speak of how many transplants is “grafts”. For instance, I had 3,900 grafts the first transplant and around 3,000 the second one. I really really recommend going to Istanbul for the transplant. I have little faith in American hair doctors. They always seem to want to do FUT technique - but that sucks. They will tell you it is recommended for some individuals on a case by case basis over the FUE method. If you have a strong donor area (lots of density on the sides and back of the head), you should definitely get FUE - NOT FUT (which leaves scarring). The precision extraction of the hair follicles used in the FUE method is virtually a non issue when it comes to scarring. I can’t recommend Istanbul hair clinics enough. Don’t be afraid or reluctant because it is far away or a foreign country. Do your research and choose one. They are all very skilled, high quality and super professional. I am from Turkey, I live in Turkey, I have always criticized our government that turned the country into a religious dictatorship, I also acknowledge that we have a lot of problems in a lot of places. Having said all of that, No American doctor should criticize the health care in my country. I know, our health care may also have problems, but it cannot possibly be as nearly bad as what you have in the US. You people have to consider ''Should I risk dying or should I call an ambulance?'', that's something happens only in the US. My advice to people who consider coming here for health related issues, do your due diligence and get as much information about the doctor as you can, then you should be OK, I am pretty sure, 90% of the time a better doctor will be taking care of you here than what you could get in the US, unless you are super rich.

While they did show his very impressive results in the front, I am curios to see the scarring in the back?
FUT May mean you can’t have very short hair in the back that may reveal the grafting harvesting area and the scar. I’ve seen some very bad and ugly scars from FUT (just people on the street or at the gym).
I personally would opt to more advanced FUE harvesting method, preferably with the robot Artas. For more natural look and less scarring (even though scarring can be there as well.. )

Good for him... Looking sharp!!
My friend went to Turkey for a hair transplant, and came back with a fantastic head of hair. He said the process is sort of painful,. but the end result is amazing. My friend was in his early 40s ,....& now he looks so much younger with his hair transplant. He said it was so much cheaper in Turkey than in the USA. He himself, was in the medical profession, he has a medical degree earned in the USA. He left the USA nearly bald, he would shave his head, because his hair looked patchy, and like peach fuzz. Now his hair is full and thick. I was impressed. I'm already 70,....and I have lost my hair in front and on the top, but I have thick side hair, and around the back,...I even have a long thick ponytail. I wear a hat all the time. Having hair loss, means you develop a "chrome dome",.....the bald part, the bare skin is shiny,...and I do not like the look of it. But at age 70,....well maybe it is not worth it. I am retired, and not working. No one I know cares,...not my wife or friends. I hate being so vain. But with having hair, you do look younger.
My cousin went to Turkey a few years ago and got a full hair transplant for $3,000 and after a few years later it still looks great.
I can not blame these men who breakdown and cry because their hair is thinning away. It’s horrible! But what is also horrible is the extraordinary amount of money hair transplant doctors charge in the United States compared to Turkey, India, Pakistán, Buenos Aires, Mexico, and Iran. Those countries charge a fraction and the results are usually stellar! But be patient in following their post-surgical treatments and time for it to grow for the optimum results. Turkey’s clinics are quite exemplary, top notch, and worth the plane ride ticket besides those clinics treating you like a king with accommodations and thorough treatment. I recommend getting a hair transplant because your confidence and looks only rise from there!!
That looks super painful. If it works I want some and this patient looks great with his new hair.
Lets look at dental tourism for example, and just realize that an average Bulgarian, Hungarian, Mexican, Russian, or Colombian (who makes $700-1000 a month) has WAY better teeth than an average American. It's not rocket science or something outside of reach. US is just so insular, so it's hard to realize there is a world beyond. Sure, many things US does way better, but not medical care (in 99% of routine issues).
I had my teeth (a crown) messed up by a respectable dentist in Chicago, whom I paid $8000 out of pocket, ended up loosing a tooth and needing an implant, which I got in Mexico City at a state of the art dental office with a US educated dentist, Swiss materials and German equipment for under $2000.
Same, I imagine for hair transplants. Let your politicians continue calling you a commie bastard for wanting affordable healthcare for yourself and your kids, as these politicians pocket legalized bribes from the insurance industry.
Had a transplant in turkey at the same clinic in the video in september 2022 and have amazing results. No complaints, amazing results
If I was losing my hair, I would shave my head and save money on haircuts, hair tonics and shampoo!
I started losing my hair when I was 18 and in the Army. I thought I might have malaria, so I went on Sick Call and the doctor said that I simply had Male Pattern Baldness. I came home from the Army and found that girls under 30 thought I looked too old for them to date even though I was only 20 by that time. I was 35-40 years old before I was able to start dating women around my own age and most of them had plenty of baggage as a bunch of kids and a hatred of men. So, baldness really did have quite an effect on my life. Now I am 70 years old and ironically, I look much younger than my age and there are plenty of women my age wanting to date me.
So glad to hear your life got better !!
"own age and most of them had plenty of baggage as a bunch of kids and a hatred of men." THat's a hell of a generalization based on a tiny sample size.
He speaks as his personal experience of 35-40 years has shown him and I agree with him. @@Kidkosmos
@@Kidkosmos I was active in the '80s and '90s, I dated well over 100 women.
I’ve been blessed, relatively speaking. My dad and all my uncles on both sides were bald, so I knew the genetics lottery was not going to work in my favor, but thankfully the onset didn’t occur until my late 30s, and proceeded gradually, starting on the crown. So I was able to make the mental adjustment. I minimize the visual effect by using a modified buzzcut.
Im happy for this dude, that hes now happy with his looks and didnt get robbed out of 10s of thousands from a US doctor lol.
Any type of alopecia is tough. Scarring alopecia like Lichen Planopilaris is a nightmare.
As a Turkish person i'm shocked with the amount of people bragging our healthcare system is... Shocking?
I barely get appointments. People say they get appointments for at least a year in the news. I heard 10 years for God's sake.
So it's weird how Westerners get good healthcare but we, our citizens, suffer a lot more.
At least they are happy and health through. That's quality.
bu ülke dışarıdan dolarla gelen için her zaman güzeldi ama içinde yaşayanlar için de her zaman kabustu yani sevineceğin bir durum yok
In the 90s i was a photographer for a company that did this procedure. It doesnt take that long to perform. It isnt all that complicated. Back , 30 years ago it was about 15000 over 3 sessions. Its relativly safe.
Thats not to say i think a non physician should be doing it lol.
But 30,000 dollars? Or even 15,000??
Its kind of disgusting to me.
I was botched by an unethical HT doctor in the US who exploited my insecurities when I was younger. Worst mistake of my life.
Nice to see a positive outcome
Got mine done less than 2 years ago. Best decision I made so far and save some money for 2 holidays abroad.
