It's kind of embarrassing to admit how mesmerizing it is to simply watch big things get pulverized into little things. I'm a simple man. Stay safe out there.
Using crushed brick is a common practice in many kinds of fired ceramics. I know in pottery it's called grog. It helps to reinforce the clay during the firing process and reduces shrinkage as the crushed brick is already been fired, in addition to making things cheaper. You can use any kind of crushed ceramic but crushed brick is the most common as there's just more supply.
Hey Jason! I'm a computer guy that does no work like the stuff you show on your channel but I still enjoy watching your videos and have for years. Thanks for uploading!
Keep up the good work Jason, although I have nothing to do with mining or prospecting, I truly enjoy your content and have subscribed for more smelting, crashing, shaking and prospecting for profitable goldmines. All the best
Jason, once again another great video. I look forward to each new video. On a side note, I don’t care much for the short videos. I like when you go into detail on various mining methods and gold extraction techniques. Keep up the great work. 😊😊😊
thanks for the vids! depending on how the clay is processed . crushed fired clay can be added to the mix in the process of creating new bricks or ceramics.
The material didnt last long. Your crusher made short work of everything. I like that its gas powered because we dont have 3 phase power here. Thank you Jason.👍
I love the fact that is not going into a landfill and that it can be used over again it's really pretty interesting 😊 have these machines can just crush it up really easy😊 technology it's a hard word to say😂 thank you for the video it very interesting informative I will see you on the next one😂😂❤😢😮😅😊😮
i was thinking the same thing, on-site crushing business, loads of re-work done here on sidewalks, driveways and curbs, just a matter of whether it would be economical, i have to think of a way to survey work crews without giving them the idea, hope to be talking to you soon
Hey Jason! You should get some Ballistic Dummy Labs body part (I.e.: skull, arm with hand, maybe full torso) to film what would happen if crusher gets a piece of you. Could make a great safety educational video
The gold mine I worked at had a 48 x 42 jaw crusher powered by a 250 HP wound rotor motor and a 96" diameter 9 ton flywheel. It took almost 60 seconds to come up to speed and crushed down to 4" minus. And the rock was hard enough to jam it about ones a month. It was so loud that MSHA require us to build the operator a sound proofed booth and still limited exposure to 3 or 4 hours per shift.
I have watched other jaw crushers and they seem to work better when there is a lot of small stuff going through because the smaller stuff tends to fill in the gaps to make crushing better
First thing tomorrow morning im building one of these. Weve got a washing machine, a tumble dryer, a lawn mower and a ford fiesta for parts. Awesome machine.
i was thinking, for super small batch crushing it could be nice to have a 1x1 foot crusher on a batter and motor arrangement. something small enough you could use it on a wheelbarrow, or a very small trailer. i have been looking for a small crusher to have on hand for whatever. but i dont need something too large. at least, for now. i actually would want something to automatically process and classify materials through at least 4 to 6 screen mesh sizes all in one step, with each size mesh cut collected in a bucket or bin for later perusal. something like for classifying material for gems by concentrating mesh sizes for later Gem Sieving in larger batches.
2:16 is a saleable product "smooth river rock". It makes no sense to crush it. You can place it in wet concrete, to make a wall/floor-edge look good, make pathway walls with it. What ever the imagination can come up with.
I used to work on a large gravel crusher, you gotta watch those jaw crushers as I’ve seen rocks the size of a 45 gallon barrel get shot out 20’ straight up! 😮 That’s a cute little jaw btw but river rocks being rounded are the ones to watch out for.
The four by six foot crusher ran by a D6 Cat motor with a gas kicker gave me nightmares. Easily crush 3 Man sized rocks. Feel the reverberations in your chest while barring oversized rocks into position from the hopper.
We have a slightly bigger one of these at the countertop shop. Crush up all the granite and quatrz scraps. I built a steel deck off the loading dock so a dump trailer can pull underneath. Also built a cage for the motor so the tweakers can't mess with it.
This needs to be mounted somewhere where the crush rock can be loaded out by a skid steer! I sure wouldn’t want to be the wheel barrow guy! I used to run the big ones that had stacker belts and the rock or concrete was load with excavators
I wish you made machines for le$$. Hard to watch these bigger crusher videos as a hand miner. Love the smelting though. I can't find a small quality jaw crusher made in USA without a huge chunk of money.
If YOU were the manufacturer of a product, would YOU appreciate outsiders trying to get you to sell said product for ANY less than you think your product is worth? If you desire quality, you’re going to pay for it. Telling someone they should sell their products for less money is a pretty big insult.
i really like all the different shaped rocks you crushed. I prefer videos that focus just on the crushing though. It looks like me and most viewers were skipping around looking for the same thing. I'm certain you'd get plenty more watchtime if you didn't show other stuff so much in the videos.
I was very tempted to give you a call too ask if the machine sold yet. I am in SE King County, and live on two acres of glacial till, at the end of a dirt road. That beast could make life so much easier.
In The UK, Garden Centres and DIY stores sell these "River Rocks" as Pebbles fro ornamental gardens and are useually in the price range of £12 ($14.75) - £25 ($30.75 ) for a 20kg (44lbs) bag crushing them is like burning Dollar bills here! You are missing a trick!
@@markae0I’ve got millions of round rocks , I use them for base fill all the time . Lately I’ve been building a access point for my lot . Three feet of round rock covered with eight inches of 3/4 minus . Super strong road , holds up extremely good . 👍🇨🇦
The crushed brick would be mixed in with the rest of the material. Probably run it through a muller and mixed in to add to the batch. Then reformed into brick. What you had looked a bit soft, like it hadn't been fired completely.
a hammer Mill is basically a blender for solid materials. it reduces down materials into whatever size mesh screen allows the material through. since these mills are using water it creates a slurry that allows it to flow and process more easily. basically, they rotate at a certain speed and the centripetal force causes the hammers to flail out and pulverize the material sent into them. fairly simple operation and mechanism.
The Canadian province of Prince Edward island has no aggregate deposits but lots of old concrete🤔 Might be an idea to reach out to groups like PEI Roadbuilders association and others
The stone yard i work at desperately needs one of these to crush down the scrap from the fabrication shop. Right now we pay a guy to take away the scrap and he hardly ever shows up. With one of these we could actually turn a profit from it. Im showing my boss your website Monday.
@mbmmllc I think one of the smaller ones would work fine. Most of the scrap is just random cutoff pieces of 2" blue stone and granite tread. Anything large could easily be broken apart with a demo hammer prior to crushing. In any event I'll show your website to anybody with any sway and we'll see if anything comes of it. I think a jaw crusher would be one of the best pieces of equipment the company ever bought. It's just plain stupid to lose money off of scrap stone.
If I had the available funds I would snap it up. But I’m getting myself out of debt as I write this. And yes I see opportunity everywhere but I’m just getting old and tired. Good luck Jason
I don't need a jaw crusher but it is satisfying to watch. Thanks Jason.
Yes it is
It's kind of embarrassing to admit how mesmerizing it is to simply watch big things get pulverized into little things. I'm a simple man. Stay safe out there.
I specifically searched this out because I knew it would be satisfying. I'm right there with ya.
Yay full video no shorts ❤️
Same .. cant block shorts on YT ..

I was just formulating how to say that, and boom: The first comment I saw said everything for me. Fantastic. Peace be the journey.
I love learning stuff like that, thanks pilgrim.
Gud vid 😍
This content is just as satisfying as watching the bucket grinder making mulch from tree limbs at the local recycling center.
That Jaw Crusher is Hypnotic, just drags you in, help
I keep expecting it to jam up, but it doesn't......
so true!! makes me wanna stick my arm in there 😂👏
Lol am obsessed
I think the most amazing part of this is the paint in the jaws! How does it survive?
The reduction ratio is phenomenal! Superb quality sharp gravel from the river rock.

Awesome video. Wish I had the initiative to start my own thing.

Honestly it's a great work I must say, I'm watching from nigeria, and I'm a metal work man,, I like your concept,
I could really use this on my property, but it most likely costs more than is practical to use.
Can concrete that has rebar in it be done in this machine?

Hey/Jason-Great/Machine/and/Video.!..You/Really/Crushed/IT.!
Great video 👍
Amazing❤❤❤
Such an ostensibly gentle motion, but it doesn't feck about, does it?!
Sounds irish comment❤
Jaw crushers works better when the Jaws are full, the effect of the rocks against each other works magic.
Will you help me build one, will you guide me to make one here in nigeria, God bless you

How do you adjust the size
👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾✌
@17:00 What happens if the concrete fragments have still rebar steel in them ?
The crusher will crush the material and free up the steel as long as the jaws will clear the rebar, he has a short uploaded about it
3:40 thing sounds like a v8!!!!!!😂😂😂😂😂😂
I'd think you could rig up some kind of screen, to the orbital jaw to screen out whatever you were looking to separate by size.
The four by six foot crusher ran by a D6 Cat motor with a gas kicker gave me nightmares. Easily crush 3 Man sized rocks. Feel the reverberations in your chest while barring oversized rocks into position from the hopper.
What is the price of the machine, I am interested?
Prices please.
Very impressive that such a small engine can break this stuff, it looks like part of the secret is a freakin' huge drive pulley.
Increased torque
Pulleys baby.
Driveway rock here is $350-400 per truckload. I need 15-20 loads. So, is there a machine for $3,500?
pick this up soon as Honda will stop selling their small gas engines in the USA soon
Why?
Then the only choice will be junk from the ChiComs.
What happens if it has rebar in it?
Good job!!!

I think you have a typo in your pricing list of the jawbreakers in the 8"x12" 20hp gas motor on your webpage.

Those bricks were like the forbidden ginger bread 👀
As a person with pica this is amazing
Would like to see it run faster to process more material faster.
These crushers i understand, but im still so confused to how hammer crushers work
The hammers in a hammermill repeatedly strike the material until it's small enough to fall through the screen openings
a hammer Mill is basically a blender for solid materials. it reduces down materials into whatever size mesh screen allows the material through. since these mills are using water it creates a slurry that allows it to flow and process more easily. basically, they rotate at a certain speed and the centripetal force causes the hammers to flail out and pulverize the material sent into them. fairly simple operation and mechanism.
Thanks for the replies! I used to think it was fairly simple until i saw the inside of one and thats what got me confused lol
I need one of these, I live in Klickitat County on a hill of mostly basalt and I wearing my body busting up rocks and boulders to make road base.
That's putting out fines just fine in my eye...
Is this machine still available? Who do I contact for pricing.? Thanks
Hmmm...jaw crusher videos may outdo pressure washing videos! TH-cam gold. 😊

YOU NEED TO LIST THE PRICE OF THIS AND ALL YOUR CRUSHERS AND OTHER EQUIPMENT ALSO IS THIS AMERICAN MADE OR IS IT ALL FROM CHINA
YOU SHOULD TAKE OFF YOUR CAPS LOCK, THE INFO IS IN THE LOWER LEFT CORNER THROUGHOUT THE WHOLE VIDEO
I suddenly need one of these in my life. It would work wonders on lava rock.
I want to rent something exactly like this but it seems like no one rents them. I live in Dallas Tx. Any input would be greatly appreciated!
I would think that crushed brick mixed with crushed rock would make a great driveway
That would be a great way to reuse cement roofing tiles - driveway material
How much are you asking for this machine?
I can almost smell the dust from here. 😀
TPH is the big question
I've got a crush on your machine.
hey try maglev magnetic induction levitation melting stuff boiling separation crucible
the same device can be used to separate conductive metals/materials from oxides/non-conductive, and break down conductive compounds by super heat
ie induction separation
or enhance the melting separation by induction heating levitation (pure electric melting + maglev induction conductivity separation)
Me man. Me like
Are you going to show us your factory one day or are you keeping it a secret?
