- Use android auto or apple carplay like a king, no more fiddling with your USB cables when you get into your car.
This video is a tutorial on how to build a custom dock for plugging in your phone in to your car's USB port, so that using android auto and apple carplay become easier.

You just destroyed a expensive Lighting Charging cable. Couldn't you just use a $5 generic type-C USB cable? Oneplus Cables are designed to be used on Oneplus charging brick numbnuts!
+Kevin Ping hot glue can be removed easily with just a simple hair dryer. Using a good type c cable makes sure that connection to Android auto is stable. Otherwise you will see unexpected disconnection and slow charging issues.
