The left one could be HENRY II of England. His heraldry was a golden lion on a red background. He was the father of Richard 1st and the second husband of Alienor of Aquitaine
What we have here is not a gladius but Xiphos, a similar short sword used mostly by hoplites in ancient greece (mostly by Sparthans) and hypasists of Alexander the Great. Gladius in his early forms was really similar to xhiphos, later they changed it to they stright edge.

They seriously need to rethink the cost of relics. They seem like they are designed to give weaker\older commanders a push towards relevance but how can any new players afford investing in multiple? Now they are adding third tier relics it seems near impossible for newer players to commit to multiple different commanders (Let alone 1 with how expensive it is…) I think they should “cost curve” the relics so that older commanders (kvk1 and on) should get lowered relics costs to help newer players transition into SOC. Also, they should add refunding relic coins when salvaging relics. Why punish the player for unlocking relics when it’s so hard to get the relic coins in the first place… 😅
The relic system is honestly the worse they added in years. I mean, the thought behind it is good but i's handled really poorly. Even poor is an understatement, the way they work on it is straight up criminal. They are just putting useless stuffs that takes up storage.
I feel like people forget, relics aren’t made to make these commanders meta again, they’re made to make commanders be able to compete with SoC commanders UNTIL you can get proper commanders

Im i missing something..update is done and i dont see level 3 relic upgrade for ysg cid etc, neither charles from previous update.Has anyone asked support why is that
Don't want to be late to the party think the new commander with the shield could be Robert the Bruce king of scots he was known to use an axe in war and the coat of arms had a lion rampant on it which looks similar to the design on the shield, he was also known to ride horses which could explain the bits on his boots
i think the first one is king robert the bruce while the second is kinda like a rome or greece civilization i think its marcus aurelius or any historical figures of roman emperors/consul
Causal low spender here, I’m good with YSG getting more relic because I still field him. Causal players like myself just can’t keep up so we have to use what we can lol
i would say, King Robert of Scotland and Epaminodas. both legendary. last time lilith released Egypt, with 4 new commander, which are 2 normal legend and 1 legend + 1 epic from civ. its highly possible they only sneak peak only 2, to build and keep the hype
lillith could implement a mini kvk story lasting 25 days that give you a chance to earn rewards for certain older commanders like atilla and quan and play a map in regards to their story. Make the sign up 1 alliance and lock it so you can only 1 of those every 2 kvk cycles. It would bring more ways to spend and or play and collect gold heads, resources, speeds etc. Literally half a normal kvk including crystal tech
I think commander on the left side seems to be Robert the Bruce. The coat of arms of Scotland is as the image and he’s almost always represented with an axe. And the cloak seems to have the typical Scottish knot… 🤔
They sure dont look like the same civilization. The guy on the right looks Roman or Greek or something while the guy on the left looks a lot more modern and maybe British from the lion on the shield? Guy on the left has what look like spurs though, I think Nevsky has them, I dont know about anyone else. But the axe is often associated with vikings? New talents makes me think maybe they are commanders specific to the new kvk with the new troop type. I wonder if they will have a smite tree? (oh, you basically said all of this already lol)
We have seen gold key commanders who came with a civilization wich had an epic commander with a different troop type I think picture one looks like cav and picture two maybe inf
The guy in the right could be pericles prime, pericles was both a general and a polititian and if you look up on google you can see lots of paintings of him with that greek helmet.
The new commander on the left, his helm is giving me Attila vibes. Got me so curious what they will be😂 The comm on the right for sure representing inf. They got me thrown off
Blind guess, Robert1 The Bruce, king of Scotland. Its a roman catholic anglo saksen. Eagle on helmet, Crusader battle axe, holy Cross' on heels, golden lion on shield, Kings cloak. Could also be Olivier de Clisson... The Spartan doesn't have much clues other than its a Spartan...
I think it is a Britain and roman commander British bcos of the lion on the shield... And it is roman not Greece bcos so far.. Greece commander holds a spear not sword.
This is not new civ! One from Scotland and one from Rome or Greece so definitely not new civ! Left one must be cav according to the design and right one must be Inf🤔 Very strange
50 on one with shield , probably not but eh us William need stick together 😅 William I 'The Conqueror ( shield one) Got feeling may see Spartan like one being Cleomenes I , or Agis. Just weird vibes.

The sword that scipio is holding is called a gladius, which is the sword of the romans. Later the changed to the longer version, the spatha.

Uuuh that could be it! He is also having an axe!

He also carries a lion symbol, you solved it I believe!

YET 😏 one day...
🤣❤️🙌When it came to Sun tzu Prime he was an engineer
Check out Olaf II Haraldsson from Norway. Looks pretty close to the commander wielding an axe.
That is a nice hint, but I haven't seen an axe so far with that one
Robert The Bruce loved his axes. And his sigil is the same.
Good guess 👀👀

LOL Great minds think alike!
Leo relic should be 10% march speed and +200 damage factor
This is what I absolutely agree on because he's lacking the aoe damage and 5% march speed isn't enough
At the minimum! I would prefer +400 damage factor to bring him up to Thutmose level LOL

Rome or Greek for sure and second related to Richard and William as well
