Introduction to Shindo Muso Ryu Jodo with Daniel Pearson: Part 1

Dan Pearson teaches Shindo Muso Ryu jodo at Windsong dojo. This is an excellent class for people who are new to jodo. Sensei Pearson discusses a bit of jyodo history, including it's use as a police weapon. He also takes his students through the first four kihon and basic jodo terminology, posture, and structure. This is followed up by an introduction to jodo kata, such as tachi otoshi.
