The origin of musical styles fascinates me. How Okinawan songs are so similar to Indian and South Pacific Island songs is an insight into history that winners didn't write. It's an honesty that is lacking in all historical memoirs. Natsukawa Rimi has such a beautiful and controlled voice, it makes it a pleasure to listen to these songs.
